I jived on this place pretty hard. Really great vibe, the staff was all cordial, and the burger was pretty banging. Burger and beer happy hour combo was nice — fries were good too. Bar was quaint, and the menu was pretty varied. I would totally come back to try some of their other reasonably priced food. A friend and I both had burgers and a few drinks and the tab was $ 53 bucks — that’s pretty awesome. If I had to knock it for anything it could use a better tap list, at least in my opinion. That said if I am ever in this hood again I would totally go back.

Amazing ambience and fantastic drinks. You can’t go wrong with the yellowfin tuna sandwich.

Nice people work there but the food is very average. And long long waits. Beet salad, chicken under brick and fish and chips all passable but nothing special

Fabulous. Nails it on every level of your experience. Wish they had one vegan entrée. Such a great restaurant.

Great, dark atmosphere. Bartenders are courteous. Be sure to try their oxtail burrito, it’s very savoury. Not to mention their cheeseburger is like dynamite in a small package; don’t under estimate it, it’s soo good!

This place is dangerous, especially since it’s a block away from home. Cocktails: A+, food: A+. Come on Moloko, you’re killing me. Everyone who works there is lovely, and doesn’t judge the fact that I order deviled eggs, meatballs, and burrata every time. I’d wish it wasn’t cash only, but I’d spend all my money if they took cards.

The burger!!! A deceptively simple-sounding menu item– but everything about it is perfect. They use a smokes cheese of some kind that lends it the«bacon» flavor another reviewer mentioned. Definitely my new favorite in the neighborhood– maybe Brooklyn in its entirety. Wish they took card, but they have an atm on premises.

This is a perfect neighborhood cocktail bar. I was hungry for a burger and wasn’t sure this place would live up to my expectations, but I was super surprised. When I walked in I immediately felt like this would be a great place to bring a date. Nice lighting, intimate spaces but not cramped, a large bar, and a ton of different well displayed liquors. There aren’t a ton of taps(this is definitely not a beer bar) but I ended up having an excellent IPA.(It’s clear they are about curating the drinking experience here). My bartender Jaime was really great to chat with. Knowledgable, friendly, good to chat with between well made cocktails. As far as the burger, it was very good. Smaller patties that were slightly over-cooked(asked for medium rare and definitely was more medium to medium-well), but it was a very tasty burger with excellent fries on the side. As far as the actual cocktails, I got a rye cocktail off the menu that was well crafted. Not too sweet. Not too dry. Great flavor. The only downside is they don’t take credit card. TBH, this would be a deal breaker for me if I wanted to spend the whole night there or bring a hot date.

Still work to do in my opinion. What’s my biggest gripe? Your entrée is served to you in a plastic basket. Still out Madeline H.‘s picture of the root salad. Delicious salad with wonderful presentation. That should be the presentation standard for all of the dishes they serve. Instead you get your fish & chips served to you in a basket similar to what I imagine they serve food at Long John Silver’s in. Tacky, very tacky. Other than that the room is cool and our server was very nice. Will have to debate about going back for dinner again but I think it will be a good spot to grab a drink. Why? No frickin’ TV! Hallelujah!

Got here pretty late on a Sunday night and was pleasantly surprised. The décor was intimate and comforting. dim lit bar with candlelight as its main source of light. I got her around 12:30 pm and was amazed they still were serving food, the full menu at that!!! The staff was attentive but not overwhelming. Great place for a date and if u just want to have drinks and talk.

Alright, I feel like it’s about time for me to review Moloko. I live a block away from them and I was a bit surprised when I spotted this new charming place on the corner. I walked pass by it while going to other restaurants around it but for some reason it never got my attention. Well, that was until I walked in for the first time and realized how much time and money I had«wasted» at the other places. This place has an incredible good vibe from the décor to staff. Everyone working there is extremely friendly and really know what they are doing. The one time I interact with the new waitress, she let me know that if was her first day so I kinda expected the service to be a bit slower than usual but gladly, I was wrong. Everything here is great. I have tried their salads, the mussels(both versions), the pork chop, the burrito and of course, their magnificent double cheeseburger with herb fries. I’m a burger lover and have literally tried pretty much all of the burgers around the area. None can top this one. Its just a perfect combination of size, flavors and price. Unbeatable. Oh, how could I forget? Their drinks. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails plus, if you’re lucky, they just might know how to make your favorite drink ever. Being a Brazilian living in the city for 5 years, I can definitely say that they have THE best caipirinha in town. It’s not on their menu but it’s worth a try. Thanks for making the neighborhood a much tastier place to live in. CHEERS. And like we say back home, SAÚDE!

The staff is extremely friendly and they have a decent collection of German beers if you’re into beer, personally it’s not my thing. However the oxtail burrito is pretty tasty and the kitchen closes at 3am. The only downside about this place is, they only accept cash.

Giving one star because I got super excited to try this place. Walked over and it’s closed. Sticky note on grate says the love me but nothing about when to return. Not sure I want to eat someplace like that. Can’t print a real sign?

Discovered this place on a trip to the bar across the street and went in here instead because it was such a different vibe! I was on a date and this place is more of a cool date spot. Love the wooden details around the place and the soft lighting. Food was pretty good had the wings and a double cheese burger, my date said he didn’t like the bun but everything else was great. Love the wine list! Will deff come back again!

The neighborhood was in dire need of a good date spot. After testing it out with my parents yesterday, it finally has one. Service was great, food great and super reasonable. I’m looking forward to testing out their drinks menu a bit more. Goal: have my own tab.
