Fosters Old Fashion Freeze

I can’t believe that this was the first time trying Fosters Freeze, I’ve been seeing this place for years!!! And the first thing to say the girls working there where extremely nice! food made fresh right on the spot. Now the most important part the food was great I got the boss burger… And omg so fu***n good! Definitely going back!

The cashier that works there is amazing. She is there most of the time. Always got a smile on. I go there ounce a while to get me something to eat and say hi to her. Only reason i stop by is her great customer service. Simce i rarely eat fast food.

Their burger with the onion rings in is the best

Been coming to this one forever. All the chic’s are cool and have nice attitudes. The owner is always talkative and friendly. Their burgers are always well cooked and never rubbery or overdone. They are Tasty and juicy. The foods always hot and fresh made. The best ice creams and shakes in town.

I’ve always enjoyed foster freeze and their food!
Now I come from Glendora so we had our local fosters and it was a great place back in my childhood days.
My boyfriend lives less than one mile away and I couldn’t understand why he never wanted to eat there. Said he dealt with rude high school workers and food was average.
But the last two times we have came it’s always been delicious! First time we got 2 #1 with onion rings and chili cheese fries and my be enjoy the great Taste in the burger!
Second time we went we did dine in and it was 10 min wait but luckily we got there before 3 huge families because we were the only ones eating for about 15 mins (haha it was a sweet moment)
Service: both times it was good. The same three girls work there. Between ages 19 – 26.
Quality: the big boss can’t be replaced!
Although when we were there. There was a weird couple who might of been on drugs because the guy made a rude comment to some young kid about NOT staring at him.
threaten him also. (Very weird couple) so watch out on weird customers.

We’ve been coming here since 2009. By far the best burger joint in the area– delicious burgers and excellent customer service; Jackie and Esme rock. I recommend the old-​fashioned burger combo on a weeknight. Yum!

Love all of their ice cream items here. Always a classic old fashion ice cream. They have good grilled cheese sandwich for 1 dollar. Cant beat that price anywhere. Best thing they have their is the banana shake. It is amazing.

Got my self this cup with chocolate ice cream fudge with Oreos and gummy worms in it last night and dang, stuff was really good!!! But paid $ 4.99, kinda to pricy for a spot like this, I could get something better then that for cheaper at sonics drive in, but then again this is the hometown spot good job guys

Good food, décor is a blast from the past. Went there for lunch and had to fight my sweet tooth not to walk out with a sundae instead.

Foster’s Freeze is located right across the street from the Bicycle casino in Bell Gardens. It has a good selection of ice cream items including sundaes, banana splits, and twisters. I’ve had the Reese’s cup twister, vanilla milkshake, various sundaes, and parfaits. I recommend the Reese’s twister and the caramel sundae. The root beer floats are also good. Today I got the vanilla cone after my meal.
For hot food, they have Nathan’s hot dogs, and they are good. Today I got the #1 combo, The Big Boss. It’s a cheeseburger with pickles, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, and house sauce. It was moist and juicy. The onion rings inside the burger provide a nice crunchy element. I like their house sauce, which I’m guessing is simply thousand island of one kind or another. All in all a decent burger. The side of onion rings was good as well.
They also have grilled cheese, chili fries, pastrami, fish filet, burritos, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, corn dogs, waffle fries, and more.
I will continually return because of its convenient location and friendly service. The workers are always nice to me, and the food is good. After enjoying a burger, it’s always cool to have a variety of ice cream treats to choose from!

There wasn’t anything special about the food to make this place stand out but the food was served hot and tasted freshly made. I had a chili dog & my bf had chicken strips & but had fries. We also shared a mint oreo ice cream but were disappointed to see that the ice cream wasn’t mint ice cream but vanilla with mint syrup that wasn’t mixed very well. The place was empty & only saw 2 customers come in during the time we were there. The place is also very outdated.

The food is really good but restaurant seems outdated, and not in a vintage way. They also take a while to notice you if you order from the outside window. Been here three times and its always the same thing. Overall this place is decent I’d your looking for a quick, inexpensive place to eat if your in the area.

This place is delicious! My favorites are the pastrami, the big boss, and the cappuccino craze, but you really can’t go wrong here :)

Strawberry Shakes are the bomb just expensive.. . Still worth the price though.. . Double Cheese Burgers and other food is above decent.. . Only bad thing is the staff.. . Not to friendly or would have given them a 5 star not a 4 star.. .

Space from the outside is pretty old and not very well kept.
Got 2 soft serve chocolate dipped medium cones for $ 3 something. They were good and the medium size was pretty massive. I’d come back.
