El Pollo Loco

I went crazy when some spanish chick tried charging me for creamy cilantro. It’s FREE in ANY other Pollo Loco. Overall shes a dumbass. I ordered a Meal for 2, and she kept getting my order wrong and over-​charged me. She said it was $ 16 when it’s supposed to be $ 13.08, fuuucck thaat!!! I canceled the order. I know how much I’m supposed to pay, I collect receipts.

ugh where do I start. We purchased salads and we told the lady no corn twice. What do we get? SALADS WITH CORN!!! We told a lady named Maria and in a very rude manner nodded and rolled her eyes. She then turned around and picked out all the corn with her hands, like eww! We asked for extra dressing and in a rude way said you have to pay for more. Like duh I know that. Never coming again! Ohh and the chicken was very cold. Worst pollo loco.

I must say the service has improved here really fast and efficient place looks real clean even though it can get crowded really friendly staff

Went thru the drive thru and ordered a 3piece chicken meal 40 minutes prior to closing. They told me they were «all out of chicken due to a large order they were preparing». Really? The name is el POLLO loco. And your gunna tell me you dont have chicken? On top of that the lady in the drive thru was extremely rude and short. As if i was being a burden on her by requesting chicken. Pretty sad.

Staff there always be rude and the food is bad tacos nasty, wait is always long time, and ghetto fast food. Also the people fat rude ugly.

This is the saddest el pollo loco out there, first of all NO FRIES??? What?! … Second the drive thru window sucks, u better watch out when u ask for condiments, the chick would shut the window immediately after I would ask for one like «can I get a LIMO…(window shut) brings lemons. «Excuse me can I also get … «n I get a, ufffffff huff n puff. From her so I said never mind have a goodnight, what’s up with all this crappy service at fast food joints man

I love El pollo loco the food is great the salsas are always fresh everything is excellent, but the customer service is the worst inside is not that bad but drive-​tru is the worst i had this girl name eva several times she so rude n hates when u ask her for extra item i put a complaint once they said i was getting a gift card refund which never arrived ohh well. Several time they have forgotten to give me items but i cant blame them sometime their so busy but the attitude tht one got’S to go… I probably would keep coming here because is the nearest pollo loco but customer service u have to be on their asses

Friendly staff, they greet you nicely as soon as you come in. Food is great, and establishment very clean, I come to this location often. Recommend highly

Just found two black hairs inside my taco… I’m blonde definitely not mine… went back showed them to the manager and got a refund

I love this Pollo Loco! The chicken is so succulent. Even the pinto beans are bomb. I think they’ve added a little pepper to it and I love it. I’ve been to plenty Pollo Loco locations all over, but this is the best by far.

This place is really dirty, the Salsa bar was filthy, the Salsa looked aged. the people were very unprofessional especially the woman cashier. Very Disappointed with this Pollo Loco in Bell Gardens

Everyone knows that El Pollo Loco is El Pollo Loco but for some reason this one really doesn’t do it for me other than convenient parking. This place is ALWAYS crowded during lunch hour and the food looks dehydrated. I always get a combo of chicken and it looks emeciated. It is somewhat disturbing to me.
Their tacos and other food aren’t bad and I usually pick some of that up if I’m in the shopping center it is in but there are many other quality taco stands in the area.

I’ve been coming here A LOT lately while i’ve been working in bell gardens, like… EVERY DAY lately haha. So I thought I’d tire of it by now but i really haven’t haha.
I’ve tried lots of stuff there, a lot of the sides, and dishes. I think my favorite for right now is the poblano burrito, it’s VERY WELL STUFFED, and well priced too.
It ALWAYS so busy here during the weekday lunch hour, but they’re fast with cooking the food, and putting it on your table.
My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. I like the grilled corn too. I wasn’t feeling the coleslaw as much, i just think nobody can match KFCs lol, but maybe i’m just fat like that haha.
In the end, a place that i’ve been eating at every day for work lunch the past 2 weeks and hasn’t tired me yet, deserves a good review. great job!

I am not a huge fan of chicken, but this pollo loco is pretty great. The attendant in the drive through, Eva, offered very good service, and our order has never been wrong. Our food is always hot, and tastes really good.

One things for sure. There’s plenty of eats around this part of Bell Gardens. I’m always in the area because its in close vicinity of school in Commerce.
This particular El Pollo Loco seems to be always busy when i go which is usually in the late afternoon. I eat inside but a cool thing is they have a drive thru also. I tried the number one combo with a chicken leg and thigh with Mac and cheese and a salad the first time I came here. Not a lot of meat but it tasted good. Grilled is usually better than fried anyway. The mac and cheese tasted like your general fast food variety type. The salad was interesting because of the dressing. I don’t know what it was but it had great flavor.
The second time I came here I tried one of the new burritos. The Califresco I think. Pretty filling. It was loaded with chicken rice cheese corn and salsa. The avocado sauce that they have at the salsa bar is pretty good on the burrito or with the chips.
I would like to go back again to try some other stuff on the menu so I can definitely recommend eating here fellow Unilocalers.

I love el pollo loco. Great flavor. Love the beans, … They even have good mash potatoes!
