Great patio to hang out for a drink. But food was just ok.

Great menu however the service can vary! The last few times I have been here the waitress appeared overworked and short staffed

Had a going away luncheon here and after always driving past this place and wondering if it was good or not, I can finally day that this spot has earned my list of usual places to eat in the town of Belleville, Not too busy for lunch, excellent service and the food choices are plenty of American fare. Their burgers are amazing and the fries taste homemade as your granny made back in the day with the cooking grease you remember. Love it and cannot wait to take my family next time! Yum!

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night because we had a coupon for a free appetizer. To be very kind the food was average at best. The prices were high when compared to the quality of food. The appetizer sampler was something I could have thrown together myself with my own deep fryer and a few minutes in my freezer. My wife’s burger had a overbearing charcoal flavor and was dry as a bone. She had ordered it medium well. We won’t be back unless someone else is picking up the tab. And when the waitress went to seat us she told us that there were no tables available because most for reserved for 630… it was 530. I thought well if your service is slow enough that we won’t be served within the hour then yes I guess we can’t sit there. Luckily a table did open up shortly. Service was nothing spectacular. Everything about this place screams average.

This is a fun spot to meet friends for some outdoor volleyball, cheap drinks and good music or We take the family for dinner and they have surprisingly great food! Love the fried pickle spears, ½ price burger Monday’s and the BEST French fries!

Went for a bite to eat then have fun when it became a bar scene. My food musts are the fried pickles spears and the spinach and artichoke dip. Great music, fun bartenders!

As for the restaurant side of SCS. It’s just ok. Foods okay. Atmosphere okay. It has a kids menu, but it is just the entrée, no side, no drink? Very odd and crazy expensive once you add in a side and drink. If you are meeting friends for cocktails and just to hang out, it’s a much better place.

If you like to dance and can to various genres of music, this place is for you. You can come early, get a table, & order some good bar food. Fried pickles are yummy. I’ve been here a couple times now with girl friends. It’s a mix of 21 – 80! You can go in a hoodie or glam it up. All ages and everything goes here for attire. The band was really good last night, they started with 80s. Took a break and the DJ takes over and played a blend of music to dance to. Band came back and played such a fun mix to dance to. I normally just love hip hop and dread a band but this one made it so fun and picked smart songs. The dance floor became packed. Guys even with awesome dance skills, dance skills on their own like we girls dance. There was a few that would steal the moment and we would circle around them, impressed. It’s now next day and my feet and knees hurt from dancing so much. So worth it. I’ll be back.

One of my favorite places to eat. Good food, good portions at reasonable prices. The Pepperjack Cadillac is my favorite, though I’ve tried several things and never had anything bad. Definitely worth checking out.

This was the last stop before home. The outside area was full, so we were lucky to find a table inside. They had a 40 birthday party, but it was contained and they had enough space. Our waitress was quick to get our drink orders, and every attentive throughout the night. Next time I will try the food.

Nothing too special. Just a bar scene for Belleville but trying to be more club like than anything. Not my kind of crowd…

Drinks are decently priced and they have the most amazing burger in the world. The Hunter(bison burger w/bacon, cheese & fried egg), the fries are ok but are not the best. They have pretty darn good live bands as well. I would definitely go back and take others.

I’ve only been here once and it was thanksgiving Eve, so it was PACKED. The place had a fun atmosphere to dance, and the band was awesome! I really loved that the bartenders, even though they were crazy busy, were polite and kept their cool and seemed to help people in order of them getting to the bar(oftentimes, females pay closer to attention to the men and visa versa). If I’m ever out in this area again(doubtful) I will for sure go back!

One of our favorite spots to stop when we are on the motorcycle since its close to home. Lots of outdoor seating. Not the best beer selection but more variety than Fast Eddies. Never eaten here so cant comment on the food. Update: Beer selection is much better. Anyplace that carries Sierra Nevada is golden in my book. Bison burger is really good! Love the outdoor seating upgrade! Still love this place and will continue to come.

I’m trying to keep in mind that this is Belleville and my expectations should be low — but they’re not. As all the other reviewers have stated, this place is enormous. This means almost nothing to me. Parking was ample, which is a plus. The menu was severely lacking, so I ended up ordering the salad that sounded the most promising. The content was on point… except for the dressing. Citrus vinaigrette? Eh, not so much. It was glorified olive oil. Bleh!

I really, really wanted to give this place 4 stars. I did! But the service… so bad. I went in here Monday night, around dinner time, so I can only judge on that and not the nightlife for the weekends. Boyfriend and I are new to the area and wanted to find a new bar to frequent on the weekends, so we thought we’d scope this one out before Saturday. Okay so, we walk in, and i was already excited. Huge parking lot, awesome outdoor set up, big place, our kind of thing. Place has about…10 patrons(3 at the bar, rest are at tables) and about 3 – 4 waitresses(1 or 2 on the floor and 2 at the smaller bar when you first walk in). No one greets us, not even a nod in our direction. Well okay, we will just sit at the bar then… Takes a couple of minutes for one of the girls at the bar to notice us, but she does and we finally get our drinks. Look at a menu, decide on the Nacho Pablano’s. Took the bartender a minute to come back and take our order but she does. We get it, and they were okay. Generous portion for an appetizer but overpriced for quality. It was velveeta and very little spice. Not spicy at all and barely any chicken. But whatever, not my gripe. So if you’re keeping score at home, we have ordered one drink at this point. Boyfriend guzzles down his beer, I finish my drink. Girl asks if I want another, I say yes and boyfriend tries to say he would too but she walks away. Both girls behind the bar continue to gossip with each other while ignoring us for the duration of the time it took us to eat a plate of nachos. At one point we just decided it was going to become a game, because literally every server that passed us, even one that I assume was in management as it was a man with a polo on, completely ignored us and walked by before we could ask for another beer. I managed to get another drink but the girl dropped it off and left before boyfriend could once again try to say he needed a beer. We had the bottle pushed to the edge of the bar so there was no confusion it was empty. In the mean time, our bartender wanders off, a server comes up and ignores us, and the other bartender is too busy talking to another patron to acknowledge us staring at her pleading with our eyes for more beer. In the end, her patron left and she could finally acknowledge us, but only after our plate was almost done. Finally gets boyfriend another beer(he went over 30 minutes ATTHEBAR without getting a refill or request for one), and then lingers around hurrying us(or so it felt) to clear our plate and get our check expedited, I’m guessing so she could resume her gossip session about the other bartender(which that was really awesome to have 2 feet in front of us). So Silver Creek, I will be back to try you out on a weekend and yes, I think you will become our new go to bar, but your service was absolutely horrible. Boyfriend would have thrown back many beers and you might have gotten a better tip had your entire staff not ignored us or treated us as if we were invisible.

Silver Creek Saloon is a large, popular Belleville area bar/club that is housed in an old golf club. They have several bars, flat screens, and live music. It’s fairly crowded with plenty of people of all ages(mostly the 20⁄30) somethings. They serve bar food and they have a tented outdoor area for smokers. The parking lot is huge. The mood was good when I was there. Lots of people dancing and laughing everywhere.

It’s no secret that the Belleville/O’Fallon area is lacking in nightlife and any good non-chain restaurants. Welcome to Silver Creek. This place reminded me of back home where there are nothing, but country folks everywhere. The crowd mix had varying ages and people just in general. I have to say this must be Cougar Central. Either it’s because deer season has started so the wives have come out to play or there are just that many single older ladies. I also seen Captain Morgan’s wife last night. That’s not something you see every day. They have a poor selection of brew, but decent service. The perfect place to watch the Cards win in the World Series. Plenty of parking too so don’t feel unsafe by any means.

Great looking new restaurant with a modern saloon theme & huge patio was worth the visit.(Future 5 star) I read about this place & visualized wagon wheels, but experienced many big screen TVs, a shiny colored floor, lots of neon’s, brushed metal sides of the main bar and a stage for bands with a DJ’s booth. There is a large concrete patio outside surrounded by a wood fence… I heard plans of future volleyball courts & washer games. The most interesting feature(I am a geek) was the largest pocket door I have ever seen. The pocket door separated the main area from a rentable(?) or extra back room. Because I work nights– I did not arrive till after 11PM so I can only write about the night life aspect. The DJ played a mix of country, rock and some pop with no hip hop, house or techno(I thought the music was a good change). The sound system had some kicking bass and very clear sound. I have seen many quick openings of places & must say this one was impressive. Once I eat here & see volleyball courts I will probably go to 5 stars.
