Got kicked out of the comedy show… not sure why, the bouncers didn’t know either. We only spent 200 dollars!

If I could give this place NOSTARS I would! My first time and the experience is horrible! You are sitting at a table with other people, and the place is small already and you have people packed in here like sardines. Your back is to the stage how fucking awkward is that. ILLNEVERCOMEHEREAGAIN!

Bartenders looked at me a few times but did not greet me untill 15 – 20 minutes after. They acted too busy to engage with me. I would have left accept I was meeting up with a friend for a comedy show.

Loved the wings & the waffle fries. Huge pile of fries with yummy gorganzola dipping sauce.

This place overcharged my credit card. The bill was $ 99, and they took it upon themselves to add a $ 10 tip onto my credit card bill. Besides the fact that this is illegal, I find it disappointing that a well established restaurant would disrespect their patron and manipulate the bill for a few quick bucks – very unprofessional and conniving.

The comedy show was great! The seats weren’t bad. Just prepare to be up close and personal with people next to you. The staff is awful! They have the worst attitudes and customer service I have ever encountered. They are so rude. But hey I guess when there is gratuity automatically added to the checks they don’t feel the need to earn extra tips.

Bunch of idiots working there. One is dumber than the other. They don’t need a comedy show, just people watch the staff. Its funny when the fcuk-up is not happening to you. Used to be an awesome place, used to be… They’re hiring! Anyone with IQ over 90 need not apply.

Had such a fun time with my friends here during Halloween! The servers were attentive & fast, the music & dance floor was so much fun, & the drinks were good & stiff! Despite how crowded it was there last night, the staff was very good about getting to everyone at the bar & getting your drink made fast – which is, of course, the most important thing of a night out! Will definitely be going back to celebrate again!

It’s an interesting place that is a combination of so many things: restaurant, pool hall, bar, night club, show venue, and lounge. The space is expansive and there’s clear distinction of areas used for what. It would be a perfect place for an indecisive group since there are multiple things that you can go do. I ordered food and did chicken fingers with upgraded fries to garlic waffle fries. The dish was better than I expected and pretty satisfied with it. I think the downside was the service. I never had anyone stop at our table so ordered at the bar. Then from there Id see servers passby but no drink refills or check in. Anyway, the establishment was fairly clean and had decent décor. I think that its a good place to hang out, but I wasn’t that big of a fan.

Experienced THE worst service here last night. Worst that I’ve ever actually experienced ANYWHERE. We walked in, asked for a pool table, the girl at the front counter gave us blank stares and then realized that MAYBE she should PROBABLY get us settled in. *Gets us to our table but forgot our menus. *Didn’t bother giving us the happy hour menu(even though it ended at 7pm and we were there at 6:30), but we still decided to order from it anyway from borrowing the menu from the party next to us. *Our server, Vida, was nowhere to be found half of the time. *When we wanted to order more drinks, we had our service light turned on for ATLEAST30 minutes, until she finally came up to us to say«I’ll be right back, it got really busy.» *Another friend of ours later joined us and asked to order from the happy hour menu, and the server responds with, «Hmmm…no.» OKAY? *We decided we wanted to order some dessert. Sat down at a booth at around 8:45, waited to be given menus for MAYBE20 minutes when someone finally noticed us and asked if we were doing okay. *Decided to NOT order dessert anymore since nobody came to take our orders, so we asked for the check. *We see Vida across the room sitting on the side of the pool table flirting with a group of guys instead of serving her customers. *And every time she comes back to us she always had the excuse of «Sorry guys, it just got really busy.» *Vida later gives us our check and the prices are all wrong – charged us for full price food when we ordered happy hour, charged us pool time when pool time is free on Sundays, etc. *When we asked about why our tab was all wrong, Vida then tried to ARGUE with us and correct us about how it was different this particular Sunday – yet nobody even told us when we walked in the door. *The manager intervened after we complained about the TERRIBLE service we were getting. And he offered to take care of our checks, waive the pool hour fees, correct the happy hour prices, and check us out since he noticed that Vida was taking too long. *Moral of the story – Vida was absolutely AWFUL, which was a total bummer because I actually like the Parlor. She just really sucked, and really misrepresented that place. Complete disregard of our table, inconsistent service, rude responses. Mind you, I’ve been a regular at the Parlor on Sunday nights after work for a LONGTIME now because I find their happy hour REALLY good – good prices, good selection, pool time is free when each person orders 2 or more items. But this experience was such a set back. It was really disappointing. Whenever you come here – ask to be served by Jeremy if he’s working! HEISAWESOME. I wish he had been there last night – my experience would’ve been much better and I wouldn’t have left that place pissed off. Jeremy: TENSTARS if I could. Vida: ZERO.

The Parlor is the best place in Bellevue for a good time! Staff is very friendly, professional and funny. Vida has been our waitress here multiple times and she is great! She got me to try Hennessy, but I still prefer Crown. Haha Drinks here are great, bartenders make great mixed drinks and for a decent price! They also have great food and generous proportions. We always get the waffle fries. Playing pool here is always a good time. There’s plenty of room to play and the sticks are straight and so are the tables, so I can’t complain! Hint: get the coupon book they have! It’s only like $ 99 and gives you over $ 400 worth of value! I love Parlor and I will definitely be back. I’d love to come here for a comedy show in the near future!

I’ve been to The Parlor a couple times for stand-up comedy. They pack the room like a can of sardines and the chairs are really uncomfortable. There’s zero aesthetic to the theater, just a stage with a bunch of humans stuffed like stuffing in a turkey, crammed as close together as possible into the stage. Drinks slowly come out as the servers have a hard time getting around the people. You also have to yell into their ear to be heard. Leaving after a show is awkward because if you go to the first show, you walk out crammed against the folks in line for the later show.

Beyond disappointed in The Parlor Bellevue’s customer service. I purchased tickets to two comedy shows June 1st. Within a week one show was rescheuled til November. No big deal. The show I was supposed to attend on July 9th however was cancelled and The Parlor did not notify me until the day of. SMH. I already knew, because the comedian himself had already told me what had happened and offered me tickets to his other shows. Problem was, I couldn’t go to the other shows… So then The Parlor’s management told me I could have tickets to Marlon Wayans. So I have been waiting for that. Then I am told I have to BUY the Marlon Wayans tickets and then they will refund me the money for my other tickets… wait, huh? I refuse to do that, so then she says she will swap them out. Today I get an email from Vendini saying my tickets have been transferred— But to a show I have no idea who or what it is. Just a random show of their choice and have yet to respond to emails about it. The last I heard was that I had to buy tickets to Marlon befor they would refund me… but then they do all this funky ish.

Do you want to see a great comedy show?! But do you also enjoy being packed into a place like sardines and fed mediocre food for a premium price?! Then The Parlor is the place for you! We’ve been to The Parlor several times now to watch comedy shows. Major props to them for featuring great comedic artists. But the set up is not ideal for an audience. Most recently I had free tix for general seating to watch a comedian, but in reality, I was watching a TV monitor cuz I couldn’t see him. Granted, yes, they were free tickets, but they really could have set up the seating much better. And I have sat in the VIP section before and I was looking(literally) straight up at the comedian, I was practically straining my neck. All the seating(VIP, general admission) is just too close together, to the point where you’re practically on top of your neighbor. Now The Parlor has a 2 item minimum per person. The prices are a bit high for less than appealing food. So in general we order drinks. And we order drinks that can’t be messed up too much, so it’s beer or wine. We figure if the food is meh, then the cocktails will probably be on the weak side, too. Service could also use a bit of help. On the occasions we’ve ordered food, it was 50 – 50 if we would get napkins and utensils. Also note that there is already an 18% service charge attached to your final bill, it’s 20% for groups of 6 or more. Hey, at least you had a good laugh, right?!

Didn’t come here for a year because of the service and again had the same experience. Came for a comedy show and needed to leave because of emergency. The server refused to bring me my check and said that I need to wait till the show finished. This is ridiculous. I don’t think they have a right to do it. I will never come here again.

This review is solely on the Billiards area. The customer service is terrible! We never actually had one server to help us the whole time we were there. We kept on asking different waitresses for help and they kept rudely saying«I’m not your server, but what did you want?». How can you not be our server if we didn’t even have one to begin with! All the waitresses just seemed so annoyed to help people out and they looked like they hated their job! Whenever we ordered something they always had a tone with us. It even took forever to get our food! My reason for giving them two stars is that the food wasn’t so bad and I would come here again because the atmosphere seemed fun and lively even though the service sucked ass. Way to stay classy Bellevue. Way to stay classy. Lol

How will I know if I will enjoy my time at The Parlor? Here are some deciding factors: 1. Your self-absorption level is astronomically high 2. Hate anything beyond basic customer service 3. Love of greasy, average food 4. You are at least 5 drinks in prior to arrival 5. Affinity for Asian people 8. Fond of cock I wouldn’t come here for any reason other than Sundays for free pool and some beer. It’s about as close as you can get to a nightlife in downtown Bellevue. We had to wait about 5 minutes with a group of 8 for a pool table. Not bad and the bartender went around to ask if anyone needed refills. Color me impressed.

The last couple times I’ve been in on a Friday night it’s been completely empty. Granted, there was a comedy show going on but people would walk in, see how dead it was & then walk back out. Service wise, if you’re sitting & getting food it’s not terrible. Usually the waitress checks on you at least once but they don’t go over the top with friendliness. The bartenders are definitely a lot better, but it’s probably because they really want to work for that extra tip since drinks are $ 10. Playing pool is fun if you’re with a group of people, it’s $ 25/hr…so just be aware if you’re playing with only 2 people it’s a tad expensive(in my opinion). If you want a real«club like» scene, I would go somewhere else, maybe Lucky Strike on the 2nd level.

Ehhh. The bad service reviews are spot on, whether it is busy or empty inside. Came here for happy hour with a friend yesterday afternoon; there were no other tables, just like three or four pool tables with people playing. Service was terrible, took forever to just get a menu. Two different people told us they would grab us drinks, they didn’t. Also not very friendly; maybe because we just got off work and weren’t dressed up? I don’t know — it was the same way last time we came by too. Honestly, it felt like we were an inconvenience because we were sitting in the bar and not at a pool table. Food wasn’t terrible, my friend got the chicken nachos which were pretty big($ 8 w/chicken, $ 5 w/out) — she said she liked them, and I just got a caesar salad, pretty big as well($ 5). I don’t drink, so I didn’t order any alcoholic beverages; my friend just got a draft beer. BTW — they have a very limited selection of draft beers. The happy hour prices aren’t bad, the selection isn’t really that great, but the food is okay. Nobody ever came by to ask how things were or if we needed anything(we didn’t need anything besides drink refills, but still; someone should have come by at least once at some point). Took awhile to get our check too. Probably will pass on this place next time, two chances was enough. Maybe sometime I’ll make it out for a comedy show or something. Certainly a lot more places in the area to get food besides here, that’s for sure. If the service was better and the staff wasn’t so stuck up, maybe 3 stars. I can only imagine what this place is like on a busy night… I don’t even want to try.

I have been coming to The Parlor since it opened, and the one thing I can applaud them on is the consistency of the service. The. Really. Terrible. Service. Many times I feel that I must flag someone down when someone at our table needs attention, regardless of how busy, or empty the bar is. The positive about the setup, the people from the kitchen deliver your food, so it comes out warm. The food is okay, typical bar fare, although the menu changes often. There are times that the happy hour menu is generous, other times, such as during my most recent visit, the menu is scant. The Parlor has a variety of entertainment options; dancing, pool and comedy shows. The dress code calls for fashionable clothing, not strictly enforced.
