Tried a bowl of ramen which left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. Nothing exciting. I do not need to return but could. Perhaps try one of the Chinese dishes.

Opted to try the fish soup, what was surprising is that there were a bunch of options for this soup, which caught me off guard but I opted for the cuttlefish ball, beef brisket. It was tasty and I though it hit the spot for a warm noodle soup on a cold day. Turns out they also have a «stamp» card program(but it’s through an app), so if you plan to frequent this place make sure to get your«stamps»

Way too overpriced. I ordered the fish broth noodles with wonton, tofu skin, and added beef brisket for $ 1.50. First off, the beef brisket wasn’t actually that, it was beef TENDON, something that I find absolutely revolting. It was only a few pieces as well, even if I liked tendon it is not worth the extra charge. The tofu skin only came with a few pieces as well and the wontons were very bland. Bland is actually the word to use here, from the toppings to the rice noodles, to the broth itself. Everything needed a good shake of salt. Also ordered the beef skewers, which was two tiny skewers of extremely chewy beef that immediately got stuck in my teeth. The flavoring was bottles teriyaki sauce and for some reason came with a lemon garnish. Save your money and go to a real ramen joint.

Best Mixian(rice noodle) in town. Their soup is true broth. I found that out when I warmed up my takeouts: the soup turns into this jello type. My comfort food place at all times.

Nice noodle for a quick dinner. Not too many people here. Seafood is not very fresh, but others are good.

If you’re craving a straightforward bowl of ramen(and you don’t want to brave the wait at Kukai or Jinya), Yoe’s is your spot. I tried the miso broth, with the pork/shrimp dumplings and extra slices of swine. The noodles passed. Much better than instant, but I don’t think they’re using Sun noodles as I didn’t experience that springy al dente bounce. The dumplings were bit overcooked but still serviceable and pork flavorful and definitely the better of the two proteins. I lurve bean sprouts and there was a nice amount in the bowl, giving you a crunchy(and healthy) contrast to the noodles. The chicken karaage was the bomb! The light breading had a great punch of flavor and the chicken was hot and tender. The service was great. There was a young lady who scurried about the restaurant and made sure multiple times that we were enjoying everything and had all we needed. I will be coming back!

Definitely some hits and misses here and there with this place. It’s not authentically Japanese, but the Chinese style noodle dishes are pretty decent. I got the fish noodles and it was pretty good portion. They let you pick two toppings, so I got the Japanese fish ball and the wontons. They use medium sized round rice noodles. Typically, I don’t see this in many restaurants, but definitely works with lighter– medium broths, which this was. The Donburi’s were large and looked pretty heavy. I really want to try those next time! Ramen, I’ve had it here years ago and I remember it wasn’t memorable. hehe! I probably won’t get ramen again at this place. Surprising, considering this is tutted as a «ramen joint.» I think that’s why this place wasn’t rated as high. But get something other than Ramen! There was only 1 waiter here on a Sunday Morning and we had a table of 12 and all our food came out around the same time and he was really nice and patient with us!

The food is good. Ramen is amazing. The service is also great! I like tonkatsu ramen and BBQ pork ramen.

I had the fish balls and rice noodle soup. The waiter was helpful which was good since I have not tried noodle houses before. The soup arrived steaming hot. Once it cooled and I could start to eat I was very happy with the flavor. The fish balls were very tasty, and had interesting textures. I found out that one of them was based on fish eggs. I would have probably avoided them had I known so I am glad that it was a surprise. I had a fresh coconut tea with tapioca to top it off. I was very please with this meal.

A friend suggested to go to this place because she wanted ramen. So why not try something new. FOOD: I got the Chicken Karaage Ramen with their signature broth. First, the Chicken Karaage was COLD. So i’m assuming all of it is fried in the morning and just served when people ordered it. YUCK. It would probably taste way better HOT like fried foods should be. Second, the flavor of the broth was nonexistent. I don’t get how it is their signature when theres no flavor and it tasted water down. I like depth in my broth and can tell its been cooking for a long time. Third, the egg was cooked so so terrible. Ramen eggs are suppose to be soft boiled and I think they attempted but… failed. It was basically a hard boiled egg. No bueno. And they only give you half an egg.(Not that I would eat a whole egg of theres) Lastly, toppings were lacking. Overall, it was a knockout version of ramen and it was quite disappointing. I still prefer Kukai which is down the street. My friend didn’t like that place because it was to salty but she didn’t know you can add clear broth. SERVICE: The lady only came to take our order and give us our food. Not much service. Even when we were done, no one came to give us the bill. We waited, but we had to go so went to the front and paid and left. PRESENTATION: Small store front. Nothing extravagant. A scrubs attire type of location. LOCATION: Hidden behind Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot. Parking is available. WOULD I COMEBACK: Definitely would not come back. ADVICE: Kukai for Ramen!

Tried this place for the first time with a friend. We didnt know what to expect. We both enjoyed the food we ordered. I ordered the rice noodle, which I thought was good. I would definitely come back here again to try the other type of food.

I came again, and it looks like they’ve change up their menu a bit. There are now a lot more ramen options. I was excited to try their pork belly ramen. Well I was sorely dissapointed. The pork belly had a good layer of juicy fat, but the meat itself was overcooked and super dry. The broth was a lighter tonkatsu base that didn’t have too much flavor, but I prefer mine more thick and creamy. But the kicker was the egg. I remember they included soft boiled eggs free of charge, and I remember last time I was here I was somewhat impressed by their eggs. Well this time, the one they gave me looked like the yolk had congealed, then when I bit into it, I realized that it was cold! Clearly it had been refrigerated. I was pretty outraged. I don’t think I can come back anymore now. They are a dollar or two cheaper than Kukai, but for considerably better ramen it’s worth the extra money.

I’ve gotten ramen and curry here. Both are delicious! I’m a shoyu ramen fan, so this is one of my favorite places to go for that. It’s loaded with bean sprouts and an egg. The portions of their dishes are rather large, so you’ll get full. The only downside of this place is that there’s like a $ 15 credit card minimum which is crazy high.

With so many Asian noodle options booming around the Eastside, Yoe’s Noodles falls a little flat in terms of flavor and quality. Although there is nothing particularly wrong with any of the dishes I have had, most of them have been bland and forgettable. To be so indifferent to what I’m eating does not make me want to go back at all, especially when I can go a little further for much better food.

Went to dinner at Yoe’s last night. Keep in mind that I just came back from Tokyo 2 weeks ago and had the most amazing foods there! I have been going to Yoe’s for some time now and the person I went with commented that the broth seemed to be more watered down than it was before. I usually get the Kimchee Ramen here so I didn’t notice much of a difference since the kimchee adds more flavor to the broth just being present. I did notice that they changed their menu look to be easier to read since the pages through a book thing usually made my guests confused. They also added a happy hour which makes their bottled beers $ 2.50 which adds to a good time! Prices are very reasonable and the taste is very nice. Automatically, I assumed Japanese style since I saw the word Ramen. But from what I am reading, this is Taiwanese. Although I love the taste of Japanese Ramen, this place definitely satisfies my cravings. One thing to note, my friend and I had extra noodles and ate everything. We still felt hungry after dinner even after having such a great meal. Not sure if anyone else has experienced that here but, I AM an Asian food piggy after all. *oink*

This is an average Asian restaurant located next to Mongolian Little Fat Sheep Hot Pot. My boyfriend and I started with the curry fishballs. A few fishballs was served in a bowl of yellow curry. The curry was a bit watered down(and extremely watery) but edible. I thought the fishballs were meh. I tried their tonkatsu ramen noodles. I got a side of the tonkatsu meat with the dipping sauce. It tasted like what you would expect of tonkatsu meat. For the soup, the broth was a bit bland. I had to add some chili oil to spice it up. The noodles were okay but not as chewy as I would have liked. I like the(barley?) tea that they serve there. The server was nice. She spoke Mandarin.

Let’s start with the noodles… Since they are a noodle house. The noodles were pretty good, chewy and well cooked but a little on the soft side. I didn’t think there were quite enough noodles, but I have a large appetite so no marks off there. The quantity of veggies was good, but the veggies themselves were nothing spectacular. I ordered the Chicken Kaarage and the chicken was better than I had expected it to be. Crispy, juicy, and flavorful! The gyoza appetizer was also pretty tasty and the boyfriend really liked them. They are a home spun place which you can tell by the refusal to serve blended drinks close to closing(long clean up times I imagine). Otherwise the service is good and the food is decent, I would say I would give this place a 3+ rating, not quite at a 3.5, but close. Probably will be back once I’m off the low carb diet, enjoy!

Well… really not a big fan of this place. After my doctor appointment, I visited my buddy and we decided to come here because I was super hungry! Now, I felt I would have just gone to one of their cafeterias at Microsoft Campus. I would probably be happier! One thing I liked about this place was they have a huge parking lot. Parking is so important to me. But, I am still not a fan of this place! I ordered grilled cow tongue for appetizer and beef over rice for my meal which came with soup and salad. I had to say that I was disappointed with the cow tongue. It was not cooked properly, raw and chewy. I had to send back. They cooked it more, but still… not good. The beef over rice was good. But, it was still not up to standard. Any fast food restaurants oversea i.e. Japan would do better than this.(I am sorry to say that!) Service was ok! But, the best part was they cooked the cow tongue again for me!
