We purchase Marine batteries from them and have found the customer service to be top quality and their product excellent. If we’ve requested assistance, they are always willing to come outside and help out. Excellent work IB, that’s above and beyond! We recommend you guys to everyone we know. It’s across the Benicia bridge for us, but it’s well worth the minor expense and travel time. Thanks again!

Great place & very nice to talk to. They returned my car battery (Interstate Battery) I purchased from Clayton Valley Shell when Amir (Owner) from there wouldn’t return it and I didn’t even purchase it from Interstate Batteries. I’d been having trouble recovering my Optima Yellow Top battery and most shops lack the proper knowledge. I called Optima and asked if there’s somewhere I could take my battery for a proper diagnosis and recovery. Optima referred me to Interstate Batteries in Benicia, who primarily distribute batteries to shops.
I drove down and the young employee behind the counter quickly tested my battery and told me it looked in good condition and they would throw it on the charger for a few days. I wrote down my info and was told to follow up in a few days. I called after the 4^th of July weekend and was told my battery was good to go and was fully charged.
I picked up my battery a few days letter and the same employee helped me out. The battery was fully charged and looked to hold the charge. I asked how much I owed and they said nothing. The employees at Interstate Batteries are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I’d been told to throw away my Yellow Top and purchase a new one, but Interstate Batteries saved me $ 200 and earned a new customer. Highly Recommended!
