A must stop in Benson! Delicious food, great coffee, wonderful owners! Do not miss.

What a little gem! We were driving out of Tombstone and really wanted coffee. Fat Possum came up on Unilocal and it was on the way out so we decided to give it a try. They’re a little hard to find and it took me two phone calls to locate them (it’s a tiny building tucked away between two other buildings) BUT I’m so glad we made the effort! This cozy mom and pop coffee shop is just the kind of place I love. I really dig supporting local businesses whenever I can. Fat Possum brews a bean roasted in nearby Tucson which is way better then some massive roasting plant in some far away location that the chain places use. The husband & I both had almond milk lattes with honey which were delicious. If I lived here I’d be a regular. I wish the best to Fat Possum in the new year. May you have success beyond your expectations!

Love this place. Lots of choices to choose from. From soda, pastries, lunch items, & of course coffee, beats the the big name coffee place in town, hands down.
While it may be too hot to sit outside now, once it cools off I know where I’ll be going. Besides, you can always get it to go!

Worth the stop! Very friendly staff, great with kids. They have tables outside on the patio where the kids (or adults) can draw with chalk while staying cool near the misters that line the patio. Our kids have layered soda’s which were fun. My husband had a custom soda (so many choices) and I had an iced coffee. We stopped in Benson because our car A/​C went out. We were happy to find this little coffee shop because we got some great drinks and tips and ideas for things to do to fill the rest of our wait while in town.

Not far off the highway and super easy to find. Great coffee, sweet and efficient service. Good (huge) wrap and lovely ham & cheese sandwich on wheat. Had the dog with us and didn’t seem to pose a problem out on the patio. We had fun leaving notes and pictures in chalk on the tables and spent a few minutes enjoying the shade under the patio umbrella and the music. Thanks, Fat Possom folks!!!

Very cute place. I had a huge iced coffee and almond scone. The baked good selection is great for such a small town. Added bonus: chalk for doodling on the tables! (Pro tip, there is shaded parking to the side). This coffee shop just opened, looking forward to going back for more scones)
