This place is a disgrace! Service was terrible. I came here hungry and left here hungry. Never experience such a poorly managed all you can eat sushi place.

I don’t get it– it’s supposed to be an all you can eat sushi place but each order is a struggle– we tried to order calimari and they served us one single calimari… When we asked if we could have more, they suggested us keep ‘ordering’. It was so frustrating trying to ask them for food every bite of the way. Edit– Upon the conclusion of our meal I’m updating this experience to one star. They stopped giving us order forms and asked us multiple times if we were going to eat what was on the table(as we were eating!!) they also asked us to leave. For context, we were here for a total of an hour and a half and two people of our party of four were late by half an hour. We were treated unfairly and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place is alright. I feel like it used to be better years ago but for some reason now when I go I don’t really leave satisfied. Some of The servers have a bit of an attitude problem. I like that they allow BYOB. There prices are reasonable, but they don’t always give you all of the sushi that you write down on the menu which is pretty annoying. I would recommend going to a sushi place that isn’t all you can eat and getting a couple of good quality rolls instead. But if you are super super hungry and want to have all you can eat, then try this place and see how you like it.

Only thing that really drew me to this place was their cheap menu options and the fact my friend wanted to do the all you can eat sushi deal. I was hesitant to come because of the negative reviews I had read on Unilocal in regards to their poor fish quality and lack of freshness but we decided to come for the lunch specials. I ordered two spicy tuna hand rolls because I wasn’t in the mood for anything too heavy. Came with miso soup which was cold and gross. Rolls did not taste fresh. My friend ordered the all you can eat which came with absolutely everything! The options were limitless from appetizers to desserts. Sushi was okay nothing too amazing and the apps were absolutely gross. Don’t even bother ordering appetizers they are a complete waste of food. The green tea ice cream that we ordered for dessert we found a piece of PLASTICINIT. Obviously we were completely appalled… When I called the waitress over all she could say was«oh. Sorry» as if this particular instance happened all the time at the restaurant. As stated in one of the previous reviews on here, keep in mind that although this place might get you more bang for your buck, this is still RAWSEAFOOD we are talking about. Please don’t resort to coming here to save a few dollars and God forbid get plastic in your food!!! Absolutely disgusting Needless to say never coming back!

I have come to fucking love this place. All you can eat sushi prepared to order for $ 22! I don’t care if they forget to bring things out or if they bring me the wrong items, just remind them! Places like this are the reason why I haven’t gone to other sushi places since moving to Bethpage. Why would I spend the same price at another not-all-you-can-eat joint and have it only get me 2 rolls when I could come here and for the same price get 6 rolls, soup, seaweed salad, shumai, dumplings, egg rolls, crabmeat salad, bbq squid, 15 pieces of sashimi, and green tea ice cream? Lol

I do not like giving one star reviews, because I honestly believe that restauranteurs with best hard to try to deliver a fine dining experience to their customers. Otherwise, why bother going into that business? So it makes me sad to have to do this, but I feel other diners should be warned, and I’m very hard pressed to find any way to find them more stars. Firstly, let me just say that I am not expecting much, or demanding. When I walked in and found it this place was supposed to be all you can eat sushi for about $ 20 per person, I was already skeptical. That price seemed low for fresh sushi. The place did not look exactly like it’s going to be a nice dining experience. It was crowded, tables were pressed too close together, and where we were seated, the people paying by kept accidentally hitting our table, making it rock. So let me try to break it down to bullet points: 1. As I said, seating was uncomfortable. 2. Menu was confusing. It does not indicate exactly how much food you are getting in a serving. Oh sure, the sushi says«one piece per order», but the rest of the items DJ not indicate anything. And they mean nothing, as the results are wildly inconsistent. 3. Whatever you end up receiving did not tie into what you order. Seriously. If you actually try it, you will see. We ordered fried rice that never arrived. We ordered salmon that never arrived. We ordered calamari, and received a plate with literally two small rings of fried whatever. Look at the photos. It’s insane. We ordered the short rib appetizer, with three people on the table, and received one plate containing one but sized rib bone. Literally. 4. When we asked the server what happened to the rest of our order, they gave us another order slip. So we ordered again. And more randomness ensued. I swear, it’s like playing roulette. You have no idea what’s coming. It is a truly wild experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone, or ever go back. And yet it’s wildly crowded. Are oriole really this oblivious of what they are getting? I don’t even need to tell you about the quality of the sushi. I feel I have you enough… No, too much, already.

This is prob 1 of my favorite all u can eat sushi spot. For 1 you can B.Y.O.B &2nd it’s not buffet they make the sushi too order so it’s I fresh. Also you can just sit for hours and enjoy any roll or so many of there other delicious dishes. It’s great for bdays, date night and other events. Bring your alcohol and appetite.

I’ve only been here twice. It’s bring your own beer, sit down with the all you can eat mark off pages. Some pieces on the hot menu are small, but over all everything tastes pretty good especially the special rolls and the service is good.

I have never felt so disappointed in a restaurant to have to leave a Unilocal review before. For $ 22 all you can eat, we were sat immediately, as the second group in the entire restaurant. We were given check off menus, We asked for hot teas. The waiter came back with water, and said the tea would be a minute. He left our menus, which we had filled out, and didn’t come back for ten minutes. He then asked if we were ready, and took our menus to the back. We still had not received our tea. Another 15 minutes pass and we finally start to get out food. However, the portions were tiny, so we ordered doubles, which they would not give to us until we finished the first set. Most of these items were bite sized, so we ordered more, which took another 10 minutes. Our sushi came after 25 minutes from when we ordered but we could see the sushi chefs playing on their cellphones. We asked for our tea the second time, about 30 minutes from when we sat down, and finally got our tea. We placed a another order of food, and waited. The three women waitresses were laughing and playing on their phones, while the male who sat us was missing. We waited 10 minutes before finally being able to attract attention to ourselves to actually place the order. We waited 30 more minutes and none of our food came out, so we asked for the check. They seemed confused we wanted to leave without the rest of our food. Our total was over $ 70, but they only charged $ 70 to the card and made us pay the extra dollars in cash. They said as we left they must have dropped our order paper, but by that time there was only 2 other groups in the entire restaurant. Over prices for all you can eat, many other places are $ 3 – 5 less, have nicer sized portions, and actually serve you. Again, the only time I have been so disappointed with service that I had to make a Unilocal account.

This review is a few years old, but I remember the experience like it was yesterday. Two of my friends who know I love sushi told me that I had to try this place. They both said that it was their favorite sushi restaurant. They told me that it was ayce, but the sushi was fantastic. I was hesitant, but they swore! NOPE!!! This place was awful. The few pieces of salmon that I ordered were still frozen on the inside. A piece of tuna was served with fish scales from another fish on it. The rice was made with poor technique. I stuck with the cooked food to finish my meal. The cooked food was ok and why they get a second star. Yes I am a sushi snob, I openly admit it. Let me make this clear, why would anybody who is even remotely health conscious look for a discount on raw fish??? From carbon monoxide preservation techniques on frozen tuna, to using farmed salmon, both to be eaten raw!!! The discount places use this crap! A quality restaurant will import their salmon from places like Scotland. And yes it could still frozen to kill off potential parasites. Tuna should be bought at market maybe twice a week fresh, not frozen. Keep in mind that most places will use frozen CO tuna to make their spicy tuna, but a quality place will not use it for anything but that, if they use it at all. I avoid spicy tuna altogether for that reason. To be honest, mayo really has no place on raw fish anyway. Sushi rice is an art, great rice makes great sushi. The list goes on and on. Look into this info online, don’t just take my word for it. You don’t have to go to the city and spend $ 400 on a meal to get quality sushi, there are plenty of decent places on Long Island, none of which are buffets or ayce. P. S. Most of the Unilocalers that reviewed this restaurant are aware that this isn’t the best quality sushi available and can live with that due to the«deal» that you get. Some Unilocalers claim that this place has good quality sushi. To those Unilocalers… Please don’t make«expert» claims on something that you aren’t educated on.

After reading reviews I expected this place to be an experience in and of itself. That’s pretty much what went on. Pro tip? Hit up the Bethpage Wine & Liquors Store down the row and grab a bottle of draft sake. The experience getting sake was better than expected, but on to Sushi Time 560. I’m not going to lie, there are some things you may have to look past, but they’re absolutely A Okay. When I first walked in, there was a bit of a fishy smell, but by the time I reached my table I didn’t notice it anymore. I think Febreze calls that noseblind. When you get to the table, you order with a pen and pieces of paper. These pieces of paper are the menu, and you check off what you want. There are two pieces of paper to order with. One for appetizers, soup and salad, and one for sushi. You would think with three people and two order sheets they would give us at least two pens, but we had to do with one. Off the app menu I ordered soup, and gyoza, which are dumplings. Together the three of us got a pile of rolls off the sushi menu. Go with the filet mignon roll, we got that for both rounds one and two. For round two we didn’t get any pens, bring your own. Soup? I ordered that twice and didn’t get it once, but I’ll still come back. I’ll just be sure to bring my own pen, my own booze and perhaps my own soup. They didn’t want me eating soup. When all was said and done i went home and took a food coma nap. I look forward to going back again with my huge appetite.

For an all you can eat sushi place the food is quite good. They have a great variety of different rolls and sashimi. Price is reasonable, $ 19.95 from Mon — Thu and $ 21.95 from Fri — Sun. You can also BYOB which is great as its right next to a liquor shop and you can pick-up a nice bottle of wine. The only thing keeping me from rating this a full 5 star is that the place could use some lighting and the staff needs to learn a little bit of better english to communicate better with the customer.

All you can eat for $ 19.95 + tax. Plus 15% gratuity which they add to your bill. Buyer be warned. They charge a «service fee» because apparently some people don’t tip. Food is ok at best. Place usually smells like bleach. Staff hovers over you way too much.

$ 21.95 dinner all you can eat Came because people said its better than sushi palace in centerreach. I do not agree. Came for the filet mignon roll which I liked because evrything else felt less fresh than the sushi at sushi palace. It’s a dollar more here than the other place. The man with the glasses who serviced us was not very accomodating. We wanted a bigger space for a group of four, but they didn’t accomodate our request initially. After a few minutes, we asked again and the man grumbily moved a two person table next to ours. The place was only 1⁄3 full so I’m not sure why he didn’t let us sit in the circle table in the first place. We also wanted the kitchen menu papers again to get desert after our first round, but they said to just let them know without the paper. After we had said what we wanted, one of the servers ended up giving us the paper because it was more than he thought he could remember. LOL Also, the server came back and asked us if we wanted to modify our order because we had ordered too much for the first round. Why? We wanted that much. Thought that was weird. The canned drinks are really dirty. You have to clean the top off to get the dust/gunk off. Napkins are real thick. Rock shrimp app has the instestines not cleaned out of it. Dont eat. They only use only pieces of whole shrimp then real whole shrimp. Setting is really dark. They didnt have any lights open when we were there. I think they expected the sunlight to give the light. Mandatory tip: 15%… If you do plan on going, I recommend: special edamame(stir fry with special spicy seasoning), filet mignon roll, the roll with mango, spicy salmon, avocado, and crunchy(dont remember name). Overall, I wouldnt go to this place again. I would go to Sushi Palace in centereach which is cheaper and the salmon sashimi goes down smoother and is fresher.

The all you can eat sushi price is well worth it. Non-alcoholic drinks are an extra fee. They are BYOB, which is great. They even supply wine glasses.(There is a liquor store a few doors done) You can chose from soups, appetizers, sushi, sashimi, special rolls, and even desserts! You fill out a small sheet with how many you would want of each. You give your server the slip and they return with soups and appetizers. Not even 15 minutes later, your sushi is being delivered. Once you done eating, if you’re still hungry, you can ask for another sheet to fill out. I wouldn’t say the sushi is the best I’ve ever had but for the price and speed, it’s well worth it!

Usually most people don’t associate«all you can eat» with«quality» but I have been very pleasantly surprised with this place. I came with four people and everyone really enjoyed it. The quality was actually above average and every kind we had was delicious we ordered 2 times and didn’t even leave one ! The only con was that the staff was very hands off. They weren’t rude but they weren’t very lively or interactive. They just dropped the paper menu on our table passively, refilled water and brought food. Regardless I will definitely come back :)

This review shall be titled ‘Irony.’ I’ve been to Sushi Time several times and I’m always pleased. Good sushi, everything is fresh, and the price is hard to beat(though most all you can eat sushi places match the price). If you’re worried about getting your money’s worth order five Filet Mignon rolls and call it a day. I like their sushi. A lot of the rolls taste pretty similar, but that is likely because I am a little picky and tend to stick to crab, tuna, white tail, and salmon rolls. I’ve never had anything here taste off, or wrong, and though they don’t ever tell you which roll is which it gets a little confusing at times. I very much enjoyed the Crazy Monkey roll, which was topped with fried banana and wasabi cream. Very strange, one of the more unique rolls I’ve had. I also recommend the Angry Bird and the Pink Lady. Stick with the ‘specialy’ rolls for a more interesting meal. Everyone makes California, Spicy Tuna, shrimp temp, and peanut avocado rolls. The reason I try new sushi places is for the interesting combinations they have made. The service was fine. Took a while to get our waters and first course(edamame and Udon soup), but after that everything came out very quickly. We even got some extra food delivered we didn’t order(more on that below). My main problem with Sushi Time and all All-you-can-eat sushi places I’ve tried is the wasteful ordering process. If I were to ever open my own sushi restaurant I would handle ordering differently. Here they give you the two slips of paper with their rolls and other items on it and you take the pen and make, what? Three marks on it? You then give it in and they take it, make your order, and throw out the paper. Such a huge waste! At my sushi restaurant, I would print the menus once per table on 4×6 paper, put the paper into cheap plastic picture frames, and give everyone a dry erase marker. You can still change the menu as often as you like and only have to print one copy of the menu per table instead of ~10 per customer! Despite what my last name would suggest, I am not the most green conscious person, but this bothers even me a bit. It’s not just Sushi Time that does this, either. Anyway, on to the irony: Many of the reviews here claim that their orders were not completely filled, meanwhile we wound up with servers coming and dropping off food we didn’t order to our table! It was odd, and once we got their attention, they took the food to the proper table(worrisome, as they didn’t know for sure that we didn’t touch it [we didn’t], but I digress). TL;DR: Good sushi, decent service, wasteful ordering process. Pro-tip: There’s a pennysaver coupon for $ 1-off per person. It’s not much, but hey, money back in your pocket. Go buy yourself something nice.

If you’re not down to drop $$$ on Minado and just looking to get a quick fix of decent sushi in massive quantities, you should be coming here instead. Since I first started coming here years ago, I’m impressed the prices have stayed steady for the most part. AYCE sushi! Check off menu items and wait to get bombarded with food. The a la carte sushi here is pretty standard. Besides the fact that each specialty roll consists of variations of the same ingredients(avocado, tuna/salmon, spicy, crunch, tempura shrimp/crab.etc), they all are all filling. Tempura shrimp, fried hot foods(calamari, katsu), protein skewers, usually can’t go wrong with those in my opinion. Dessert is usually only limited to 3 ice cream flavors. Tempura banana is only served before 6:30pm.(skip it, it’s too mushy) Remember this isn’t anything like the almighty Minado in terms of selection and quality, but who cares when you’re uncomfortably full of sushi. Service is quick. Food flies out of the kitchen when it’s not busy. BYOB here.

This place is a love hate relationship. The sushi isn’t the best but it fulfills my sushi needs. I really enjoy ordering a whole bunch of different rolls and then some. It’s just fun to go out to eat with friends and do something a little different for a change. What I hate: every single time I have come here(which is more than a handful now) they never ever bring out our entire orders(what we checked off on the sheets) I dont know if they do it on purpose hoping you’d forget, but guess what I don’t. The other day we checked off dumplings. Never received them the first round. Ok gave them the benefit of the doubt and when we order them again we still didn’t get them. I told the girl we ordered them and her response was«yeah I know they are coming» oooookay then. Language barrier is strong here with some of the staff. Generally as you keep eating the rolls you kind of realize they all taste very similar. Stay away from the beef short ribs, soft shell crab roll, and tuna sashimi NOTGOOD ! Crunchy mango roll is probably one of my favs they also have a spicey tuna roll topped with crab salad that is good too.
