No longer open to the public. ONLY for hotel guests. This makes me sad. I have enjoyed this café for years. It was a go to lunch spot for me. They were renovating for a bit so I had not stopped in for a while. I popped in today thinking I would get a salad for lunch but unless I wanted to get a room I could not eat there. Luckily other nearby hotels have wonderful PUBLIC restaurants: –The Montage –The Beverly Wilshire –The Beverly Hills Hotel

I am sitting at the bar/lounge at the Lux Hotel having a glass of champagne after work. I work in Beverly Hills and understand the importance of good customer service. With that being said, the bartender working tonight(Saturday August 15th) has the personality of a shoe box. It is no small surprise that the bar is empty. I will not be visiting again!

Simple, elegant. Good for Privacy, small business meetings, if you have to lunch alone. I used to treat myself when I worked in the stores on Rodeo for many years. :)(I started young.). In the ’90’s it used to have more room to eat outside with booths and serve more simple café food like crab louie salad, if I remember correctly, but many years ago the restaurant & hotel upgraded it’s old style and changed it’s lay out. Now it is much more quiet and chic. It’s like that great combination of excitement and relaxation you can get from ordering room service — but at a table. Way back inside(near the check in desk) is more quiet than outside and you are likely to be alone with the bar tender. :) but it’s all good. Usually can be slow service outside too, but feels like a fun splurge. Don’t rush, give yourself time to feel special there and you won’t mind at all. * There is also a small rooftop area which may only be for specially leased ocasions, but you can always ask about it. I remember attending some breakfast meetings up there for work. It always felt special.

This is an awkwardly placed restaurant at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills. First, the entrance is underwhelming and confusing. There is an opening into the hotel right where the outdoor/patio restaurant seating is located. Upon entering, no one was available to assist us. We ventured into the hallway and saw the remainder of the restaurant indoors. It’s strange, since the restaurant is not one continuous space, and the indoor and outdoor seating is separated by the entrance and hallway to the hotel. Anyway, someone finally helped us and we sat indoors. The space is quite small but well appointed and pretty. The bar is tiny. The server was pleasant and attentive enough. Food was alright, but nothing was memorable. TUNACRUDO — not really a crudo at all but seared tuna. It came with heirloom tomatoes, avocado, citrus segments, and a house-made ponzu. It was nicely seasoned and tasty. SPICYSHRIMPSCAMPI — very flavorful with the white wine sauce, but the packaged spaghetti was dry and forgettable and the chorizo was too chewy. It was not spicy at all. GRILLEDORAKINGSALMON — highly recommended by the server, was a bit overdone and bland. The accompanying roasted kale was very tasty. Service was pretty good overall, but the food was inconsistent and subpar for the price. I would have no need to return. parking — valet, metered, or several close by garages with 1 – 2 hour free parking

Not bad pretty cool place for sitting in the patio area and people watching and what not. Was here on a Thursday night around 7pm and it was pretty empty no need to make a reservation as we saw lol. But yea kinda casual and lowkey place on famous Rodeo in Beverly Hills. Situated on the entrance of the Luxe hotel in Beverly hills this little place is in a pretty good central spot in the middle of Rodeo. Food is good nothing special or anything but overall good casual place, average to slightly extra food portion sizes.

If you’re into fashion and luxury this is the place to dine! You can dine outside sitting on rodeo drive, it’s great place to people watch and admire stores like Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo and much more. I recommend this place for the Beverly Hills experience. For dinner my date and I dined on the spicy shrimp scampi and the salmon entrée. We also had the grilled Cesar salad as an appetizer. So the grilled Caesar salad was just that a Caesar salad nothing special going on whatsoever the dressing was bland, but the fresh shaved Parmesan was a nice touch other than it was a simple Caesar salad for the up Mark price of Beverly Hills dining lol The spicy shrimp scampi was flavorful unfortunately but the pasta was undercooked. The salmon entrée was definitely the winner. Maybe it was the salt crusted skin on top of the salmon which was a little salty but worked well when you mix it with the colorful cauliflower. The cauliflower was a nice touch nice to look with colors of purple green and white… The dish reminded me of Mardi Gras look at my photo. Everything tasted well although my date thought that’s the salmon was too salty. I would come back and try their happy hour but I don’t think I would come back for dinner. Again if you’re looking for the Beverly Hills experience I definitely recommend this place as you dine directly on rodeo drive and it’s nice if that’s what you’re looking for.

PARKING: Valet or meters on the street or assorted paid lots in the area. AMBIANCE: Not clearly marked but I guess it’s sort of obvious that it’s the area in the lobby with tables and food. It’s a small spot, but there are nice big mirrors to create space. There was a TV showing a fashion show… random. I guess it’s Beverly Hills. FOOD: Decent. I thought my «spicy shrimp scampi» was flavorful, though«spicy» was definitely a misnomer. The chorizo added a really nice touch, but overall the dish was a little too salty(and I LOOOVE salt). My husband’s burger was just okay. The truffle fries that came with it were well-cooked though the truffle and salt flavor could have been more defined. BONUS: They have a happy hour — I forget the times, but I remember it being pretty broad. Beers for $ 5, martinis for $ 10, and sangria/wine/well drinks somewhere in between. SERVICE: Very friendly and helpful — the best thing about this place. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but the food and pricing didn’t really jive for me. I had a Groupon this time but don’t think I’ll come back for dinner at regular pricing. Maybe I’ll check out happy hour, though!

After a few hours walking around Beverly Hills, I had the pleasure of stumbling into On Rodeo Bistro & Lounge and had an incredible experience! The outdoor patio sits on the sidewalk so you can people watch while drinking a bloody mary or espresso. The manager, Dexter, gave us great service and suggestions for food and drinks. The place is beautiful and is a perfect break away from all the madness on Rodeo Drive. Awesome service, delicious drinks, and tasty food — come for happy hour for some good prices. An overall wonderful experience, will be back again!

What a wonderful surprise this little Bistro in the Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive is! I had 3 meals at the hotel during my recent stay and each one was absolutely fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna with Tomatoes in Ponzu sauce for dinner. It was farm to table fresh. The grilled lettuce Caesar salad is wonderful and they put the dressing & croutons on the side for me to save calories. Jesse was our server and he was terrific, very efficient and came back frequently to deliver drinks. The next day I had a business lunch at the Bistro and it was excellent. I ordered the Citrus Shrimp. If you go to the Bistro, this is a unique dish you must try. The shrimp is jumbo sized and sautéed to perfection with oranges, grapefruit and fresh herbs. The side dishes of vegetables were fabulous. Usually I do business lunches over at the Beverly Wilshire at the Boulevard but I am going to move to the Luxe Hotel Bistro going forward as the food is much better and more affordable. They also have a lovely outdoor patio if you enjoy people watching on Rodeo Drive. The full bar had a great wine selection and refreshing martinis. Finally, the breakfast was wonderful offering fresh omelettes and delicious freshly roasted coffee. If you’re in Beverly Hills for a business meeting, shopping or a vacation stop in. This little bistro is a delicious taste of Europe in the heart of Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous experience dining here… I took my wife here for a date night while we were in town, we really had an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is in an ideal location with ambience steeped in Rodeo Drive elegance, without even a hint of pretense. The restaurant manager Dexter made our experience unforgettable with his recommendations and welcoming personality. Service was fast and attentive, without hovering over us… pitch perfect. I went with Dexter’s recommendation and got the On Rodeo burger, which was top shelf, the best burger I’ve had in quite a while. We loved the drinks named after Beverly Hills 90210 characters, my wife had the Donna Martin, which she loved, I’m not usually the mixed drink type, and even I was impressed. For desert, we split the chocolate soufflé, another recommendation… and absolutely to die for. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised, and we will definitely be back to this unique, wonderful spot On Rodeo!

Had the pleasure of dining here with friends and the service was AMAZING. Although the place was busy, the staff was courteous and attentive. The manager Dexter even came over to greet us once seated and apologized for the wait. I highly recommend this spot for tourist and locals!!!

This cozy, well appointed lounge basks in the aura of its Rodeo Drive location. Intimately set back from the sidewalk, as an outdoor room, it allows for covert people watching. Surprisingly, there was no pretension here from the very friendly staff. We were here for the happy hour with $ 6. Well drinks, wine and tasty appetizers. One can easily have a very satisfying«tapas style» early dinner here for a bargain price. I have to commend our waiter for approaching us with«last call for happy hour» reminder.

Luxe /Café Rodeo(continued…) Day 8 — Birthday Wish Someone once said that for every end, there’s a wonderful beginning for each and every one of us… In this particular case I was referring to my final day of celebrating my vaunted birthday.(I know what you were all thinking: «Geez, how long is this guy going to celebrate his b-day, anyway? Does all he do is party all day ?») Well, I’ll have you know that eating as much as I do is hard work, period. in essence, it’s a full-time job in itself. Hell yeah! So for that, I’m repping ALLLL the foodie’s out there; many of whom are also Unilocalers. I therefore, dedicate the wonderful meal I had at café rodeo to all of you– I just won’t share it with you. waayyyy too hungry for that: LOL. Here are my recommendations off their exquisite menu: Appetizer: Popperazzi– My first choice to wet your palate in anticipation of the main. The jalapeño filled with cream cheese is an excellent delicacy. Salads: De-luxe chopped salad– Salad can be so dull unless you mix it up a little. The de-luxe is la mezcla perfecta!!! it’s like a salsa with greens. Main course: Filet mignon– Don’t think for a minute that on the last day of celebrating my b-day, I wasn’t going to order one of the most expensive meals on their menu. That’s how I roll. Roll that fat piece of meat right into my wide-open«jaws of death» — that is.‘Nuff said…;) The End… –tigre

My friend and I came here for Dine in LA week and not only was the food uninspired, the service was slow, AND we were charged dinner prices for lunch food. The salmon was excellent, but for $ 40, I’d expect the whole fish. I’m not even going to waste any more time on this review. Thumbs down.
