Love this place.
Customer service could be the best in town and it’s all done by one gal. Of which I can’t remember her name. But seriously pro!
Mom makes food in the back, daughter up front, other staff work to support these two. They’re amazing. They run a tight ship and if you are at all dissatisfied – of which I have never been – you just mention what you need and it’s taken care of.
I really enjoy the Panang Beef, the massaman, and some sort of basil Thai dish. Lovely vegetables, fresh and great quality. Atmosphere welcoming and nice. Can be a quick in and out, or can linger over dinner.
We’ve also gotten the Crab Rangoon and the Coconut Tom Yum soup I believe and it’s awesome. The Thai tea is excellent as well.
Prices may have increased, but I don’t care. It’s too good.
My mouth salivates as I think about all the tasty, wholesome dishes to be eaten here — I better go eat some lunch!

When it comes to spicy… I learned there are different definitions and degrees of «spicy». That being said, I wasn’t disappointed. I just had more «spicy» than what I am accustomed to. Ha! Next time, I’ll be sure to order a milder dish. Great food, fresh and flavorful ingredients. Really liked the coconut soup. Hubby, not so much. He’s not into that sort of thing. Bonus prize for me!!! Service is friendly. Clean environment.

We love this place. Really, really good food and consistently quick service for the level of crowdedness they generally have. It is a little bit pricey for our taste, but the good is so savory and good, I can still give it four stars with no problem at all.

Went on a Friday night! I was massively craving Thai food and I read mixed reviews but lemongrass still seemed better than other Thai restaurant in billings so I decided to go in with an open mind and give it a try.
There were many people there but i was still able to be seated right away. I ordered fresh spring rolls and pad thai.
Service was on spot. I didn’t even ask but the waitress brought me 2 different sauces for rolls, –peanut sauce and sweet chili, — so that I have options! the spring rolls had really small portions of tiny shrimps but I still enjoyed them.
The pad thai was just ok. They were generous with bean sprouts and green onions and I appreciated that but the flavor was not there, kind of bland, and it was more reddish color than the usual pad thai color. I was disappointed because i feel like pad thai is the most basic thai dish and i was looking for that particular ‘pad thai’ taste. It really made me miss my Thai joint back home in CA
I liked the ambiance and the waitress was awesome, checking up on me all the time and friendly, but the food was just okay. I might come back to try some different dish other than pad thai.

All boils down to each of the chefs at all our Thai dinning. A heat level 3 at one maybe extremely hot one place and a 3 at another is a medium.
One thing I do find at each of our Thai restaurants is a bit pricy, none of the items are costly, so your paying for the knowledge of the chef, and your taste buds.
My assessment of this place is based on flavor and it’s one of the better, but needs to get heat scale numbers and if you average a 3 elsewhere it will be a 2 here

The Pad Thai was really very sweet. Almost just like sweet and sour sauce, even the same bright red color. Really was hoping for a spicier less sweet pad thai. Prices are good, the waitress was awesome and really nice place. Might be back

Solid food but nothing special. The service however, was insanely slow. After a 20 – 30 minute wait we were seated in the dining room which had multiple empty tables. The group that had been seated right as we arrived didn’t get their food for another half hour (1 hour total). Our fresh spring rolls didn’t arrive for about a half an hour and then our main dishes arrived about 15 min after that. (45 min from order to main dishes)
We ordered green and yellow curries and they were both too thick but tasted good. The fresh spring rolls were dried out and very tough and crunchy on the bottom. It really felt like they were rolled and then sat for 30 minutes before the server brought them out.

We had lunch there today and were extremely happy. We hadn’t been there before and were excited to find another Thai restaurant in Billings. The service was very good and our server (Ying) was very helpful and we got a good education in Thai food. The food was very good lots of flavor made with fresh ingredients. We will definitely go there again when we are in billings.

No lunch menu here! I tried to have lunch here on Wednesday after reading the reviews. I’m traveling and the lunch menu I saw here at Unilocal sounded perfect for me.
After waiting a few minutes to be seated, I was given a dinner menu. I asked for a lunch menu, but she said no, they are not serving it.
Since it was noon, I told her I saw a lunch menu on Unilocal and Trip Advisor. She said yes, but they are making some changes. In other words, we have plenty of customers willing to pay dinner prices for lunch, so we don’t need your business.

This was a pleasant surprise – good Thai food in Billings. The service was excellent, although the place wasn’t too busy at 7:30 on a Saturday night. We started with fresh spring rolls – 3 large ones cut in half, with a sweet & hot hot sauce. The vegetables were crispy and good; the wraps were a little chewy at the bottom – we enjoyed them. One of us had the mixed vegetables (last item on back if menu) with tofu & brown rice. There was plenty of it (we should have shared) and the veggies were cooked well: onions were crisp & mushrooms were done. This is a very mild dish. The other of us had the yellow curry, also with tofu & brown rice. It was delicious and ample. We’re not experts on Thai food but have eaten at several other Thai places and this was definitely a cut above.

Disgusted! That is how I felt walking into Lemongrass Thai. As me and my wife were returning since our first experience was a decent one but this time around it seems the staff has become very discriminating and rude. We walked in before 3 other parties and were told rudely to wait for 10 mins while the people behind us were seated right away, I feel like we needed to be waving a neon sign to get any service. How do you completely ignore people and are ok with it. I will never go back to this restaurant and I do not recommend this place to any one. So rude! We ended up leaving and getting the best BBQ from Blue’s BBQ.

Moving from California to Montana, I thought I would never get a Thai iced tea ever again.
Not only does this place offer the tea that rivals all the Thai restaurants I’ve been to in L.A., but their Penang Curry and Yellow Curry were delicious.
I was VERY happy to know that Thai food is only a short drive away, and that I do not need to make it myself or fly back to California to enjoy good Thai food.

This is by far the WORST Thai restaurant ever! We ordered take out of Pad See Ew and Drunken noodles. The Pad See Ew was very hot and the food melted the styrofoam box, I attached a picture showing my fingers going through the box from the bottom. The Drunken noodles was a thick blob of oily dough, I can use a plastic fork to carry the entire mess, see picture. The food is so gross you wish they were never born to make it. Watch out for their reviews, most of the 5 stars have only 1 review! FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!

Not bad, but not that great.
My wife & I had the Drunken Noodles and the Pad Kee Ew. The vegetables were fresh, the noodles a bit rubbery, and over all, a rather ho-​hum experience.
