Not entirely impressed. And I hate to say that. I usually don’t write a review on my first pass through, giving everyone a second chance, but was so underwhelmed I’m not sure I’d return. The service was excellent. Cashier quick, helpful, knew her stuff. The line cooks were also personable – when I came up to retrieve our order, they chatted with me and offered suggestions. The – who I can only assume was the – manager bussed tables, chatted with patrons and also offered suggestions. I saw him occasionally deliver food as well. Those are all awesome points! However, I felt that the burger patties themselves lacked flavor/seasoning. And was saddened by this. I got a regular size burger with mooyah sauce – which was basically a thousand island type sauce, mustard, jalapeños, raw onion, lettuce, tomato. There were very few jalapeños. There was not nearly enough sauce and then the patty was kinda blah. My mom with me also had a burger and got mayo and a buffalo type sauce and also felt it was under sauced and under seasoned. We ordered fries which were great, healthy portion – ate them with the recommended Mooyah sauce, and also got a side of ranch. The manager guy mentioned – «every place you can get ranch, but here you can only get Mooyah Sauce.» This made me think there had to be something special about this sauce. No, nothing really wowing. And the ranch – bleh. That was not good restaurant ranch. I don’t know what was going on with that. But if you’re a ranch connoisseur like a lot of Montanans – forget about it. I also ordered an Oreo shake. But I wanted to add mint to it. Well – I was informed that the mint was an extra 70 cents. No problem. Give me the mint. Honestly, I couldn’t taste the mint at all. And the shake was so thick I couldn’t drink it at all. We sat there for sometime and ate our lunch and visited and then I actually had to leave with it and later drink it because I couldn’t suck it up at all. Quite weird. That’s not usually a complaint – too thick of a milkshake?! Really?! What’s wrong with this girl?! But when you want to enjoy a shake with your burger and fries – and you can’t, then that’s a problemo. Overall, I did like it. I want to like it. But the under seasoned meat and seemingly flavor lacking experience disheartened me. If I come for a burger-and its a burger place – I expect to be wowed by the burger. End of story. I think there is potential – five guys is not around and it’s kind of in that line of places but Mooyah has more attention to customers and atmosphere and they have shakes!!! And much better than Steak n’ Shake – which was just sticky. Everything sticky – I don’t care how you season the burgers. Okay – sorry tangent – Mooyah has potential and so maybe I’ve talked myself into going back. We shall see.

Went last night with the kids. Burgers and fries were excellent. Hot dogs were to spicy for my 6 year old daughter. The shakes were to expensive for the quality. Staff was nice, patient, and the place was spotless. We will be back.

Good burgers, nice atmosphere. The sauces could be explained a little better. I like this better than Five Guys for sure.

I have been a fan of Five Guys for years but have been super disappointed with them during my last several visits. I decided to try Mooyah and was incredibly impressed! I have found my new burger place and I will no longer go out of my way for Five Guys!!! I ordered a regular burger plus blue cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and sauteed mushrooms. Initially I thought it was a little pricier than what I usually get at Five Guys but OHMYGOSH — the burger was HUGE! The flavor was amazing, and I got a pretty large portion of fries with my combo and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t get to try a shake because I was so full but I will definitely be returning soon! The service was friendly and fast as well!

The food was good and the staff was nice but we paid way more than what we wanted. I will probably choose a different place to eat next time.

Best burger and fries in Billings! My family and I are so picky about our burgers and they never disappoint! Everything is clean, tastes fresh, and portion of fries are huge and it is inexpensive.

First time eating here and it was very good. I would say it’s as close to a 5 Guys as you can get. I had the Mooyah sauce on my burger and it was great. I ordered the regular combo so small fries and drink. I believe they serve the burger with a few less fries than the same combo at 5 Guys but plenty to eat either way. Nice selection of drinks and the sweet tea was very good. My kids had shakes and by how fast they sucked them down I would say the shakes are good. The service was very friendly and helpful and we didn’t wait but a couple minutes for all our food and we had 4 in the group. Cool atmosphere, clean and played cool music because my kids sang along to all the songs. I would recommend this place for a good burger.

They have improved a lot since opening. Had a damn good burger. Great griddle crust on the smashed burger. Greasey good flavor with a garlic salt they add to the beef. Bun is fresh but good not great taste. Lettuce and all toppings crisp and fresh. Fries are fresh and damn good. Milkshake was good but impossible to drink.

Good enough burgers. They are trying really hard to be like or better than 5 guys. I definitely didn’t like the half cut into the burger patty. Isn’t that like a grilling no-no? For one it just made the burger fall apart. Also my bread could have been toasted better. The fries are pretty good thou, probably because they are freshly made. All in all a solid 3 star with room for improvements!

Great burger, good variety of ingredients and quality beef. Good and greasy as well and the fries are fresh. Four stars because of the location and the price. Cost is a little much for what you get and poor location, makes for a bad atmosphere.

Not quite a 5 Guys but close enough. Burgers are good, they seem to be stingy with the fries… which is a shame. Not being able to verbalize your order is annoying, also when ordering the same exact burger 4 times you NEED to fill out 4 cards?! I gave her one card and asked her to give me 4 of those… I was instantly chastised and«Educated» that they need 4 separate cards… what a waste of paper in a more recyclable conscious society.

Good fries. Just the right crisp. Burger was just ok. A good size double patty, but the burger needs some seasoning to bring out the flavor. Just not a lot of good beef taste. Nice set up with all the toppings and a pretty good value, but I think all the sauce options are there to cover up that the beef patties are a little dull.

I ate at this place for the first time, it was late they were about closed. The order taker asked if I had eaten here before, I replied with no. He showed me how to order with the ticket. Took about 10 minutes to get my food. I watched Sports Center while eating, having a broken arm and what not, I take my time. One of the ladies that worked there asked how my food was, I replied with very good. She then asked if I needed a refill on my drink, I said I was fine. The burger wasn’t dripping with grease, the bun wasn’t soggy, vegetables were fresh, the bacon is real bacon, not that microwaved crap you get at McDonald’s, Burger King, ect. This is one place I will be going back to from time to time.

I’m surprised this location only has 3 stars. Traveling in Montana I think this is one of the best places for burgers. Very similar to in n out if you’re familiar with the So Cal famous burgers. Lots of options. Very we’ll priced. Vegan and vegetarian options. Very clean. Great service. Fast to serve.

I love this place. We are always on the lookout for grab-and-go food — somewhere that our healthy, gluten free eaters *and* our burger-loving son can all find something we like and can eat. Enter: Mooyahs! That burger-loving son is somewhat a burger snob, too. He likes true burgers, nothing fancy, but must be awesome. He loved the Mooyah burger, and we loved the turkey burger«on ice»(where they use iceburg lettuce for the bun — perfect for the gluten free crowd). We were also THRILLED to see sweet potato fries. If you know Austin, TX food — our son liked the Mooyah burger even more than P Terry’s! Wow! This is huge. The service was great, too. Kind, helpful, and«the customer is king» kind of attitude. Four stars and not five only because it is not bursting with flavor for my taste, but I highly recommend this place.

Not many people @ 3pm so service was good. Veggie burger was tasty, a little spicy, and with everything I wanted was SLOPPY! Shakes were great but this place isn’t cheap. Gets Bout a 2 star for value. It’s ok but not a 5 Guys.

Place was packed! Guess Sunday afternoon wasn’t the best time to go. The wifey and I each had turkey burgers and fries. Turkey burgers were suprisingly tasty and juicy. She got sweet potato fries which were really good. Most places make them soggy but these were crunchy. Only thing they lacked was honey mustard. I also had a chocolate peanut butter shake which was amazing. Too thick for a straw. This will be our new shake and burger place when Burger Dive is closed(or we don’t want to spend 30 bucks). Highly reccomend mooyah

So, there is a new burger place in town. Mooyah is a chain mainly in Texas that is part of the new simple burger menu trend. They have 3 choices of burgers(regular, turkey, and veggie), white or wheat bun, and a many condiment and sauce possibilities. I ended up getting a burger with cheese($ 5.70), a small fri($ 2) and a regular drink($ 2) The burger was average, a little on the greasy side and blander than I would expect from this kind of place, but not bad. If you are craving 5 guys, smashburger, or in-n-out, I think you will be a little disappointed. Fries are fresh and good, they could be a little crisper and less salty. I tried the sweet tea, but it had an off flavor to it so I switched to soda. Be careful of the lunch crowds at this place. By the time I left there was a line out the door. I don’t think this is a bad offering for the price, especially for the west end.
