Denny’s

This place was a nightmare, even for a Denny’s chain. You’re better off going to the gas station down the street :/

Food is ok, the french toasts are good, but the sunny side up eggs are not good. It’s raw!!! I won’t go to this restaurant again, because wait for a long time.

Good classic Denny’s food and atmosphere. Wait staff was very friendly and super nice to my six year old son. Will come back again next time I’m in B’ton.

Came in on a normal day and still had a wait time of 45 minutes when i was told it would be 15. Food took over an hour to arrive. Waitress was lazy and slow, manager did nothing to correct their mistakes. Almost every order came incorrect.

Waitstaff is always friendly, don’t ever have to wait to be seated. Foods great, kid friendly, open 24 hours, clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. A little hard to get to. Getting food can take up to 45 min… That said, you always get what you ask for! Food portionings could be bigger… The only barrier from making my dennys, 5 stars!

Good food, service was also great. It took a little longer than I would of liked, make sure you aren’t in a rush.

I forgot when I ordered that the Spag sometimes is just Marinara. Was bummed and the waitress tonite said no prob what would u like. So I ordered BLT! My hubby had a nice size salad she made special with 1000 on side. Also cheese quesadilla yum. I don’t like returning food but I DO like the meat sauce better. Jewlee Kay our server is nice and accommodating. Left satisfied! Was fine.

For a college town Denny’s they really need to get their stuff together. College kids are going to party. Partying leads to hangovers which leads to morning after breakfasts. Basically they were not at all prepared for the Saturday morning breakfast rush. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish! I was so disgusted by the end of the visit that I almost dined and dashed. My friends and I had to wait 10 minutes just to get our names on the list. Another 20 to be seated. Another 10 to even be acknowledge let alone take our orders. And another 45 MINUTES just to pay the bill! It also took around an hour after ordering to get our food and it was cold. Our waitress was gross, rude, and negligent. She even put check receipts in her mouth then handed them to customers! I have never given $ 0 for a tip before because I’ve worked in food service and know that they live off their tips but this time I gave nothing. She served three different tables their drinks, food, and checks before ours and they were all seated after us. I’ve never had such bad service in my life. If I could give this Denny’s a half star I would just for the nice hostess. All in all we were there for a miserable 2 and a half hours and I ended up convincing four different parties walking in the door to leave.
Don’t ever go to this Denny’s.

As a guest and employee I can say I love this place. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. Even though I do work here I come in with my boyfriend almost every Wednesday after my shift for bogo burger night. It’s a great deal and even though I am part of the dennys «family» the service is great. All around I just love this place!

Older restaurant but holds it’s age well. On my visit place was clean, service good and waitress friendly. I had a club sandwich, fries and a bowl of soup. Food exceeded my expectations. On this visit they earned their 4 stars from me.

The wait staff is great, friendly, and warm however the cooks are very slow. It took me 20 minutes to get a omelet.
The location is great, right on the corner and next to two hotels.

1 hour and 10 min to get our food. Need I say more? Very very poorly managed.

Some times this place is very crowded. My guess is the «Cracker Barrel» up the road is either full or closed at those times, which is why.

My old review stands — its a Denny’s like any other Denny’s you’ve been to. But I wanted to review and give a 4^th star because of the staff. They are super friendly and deserve the recognition. Kudos to them, especially the ladies on the early morning shift!

This Denny’s smells bad consistently, so I don’t go there anymore. Food is decent though, but not great and not worth the odor.

For a Denny’s, this place was great. We went really late and had them customize a vegetarian breakfast burrito for us and it was pretty good. The staff was very friendly. Obviously the food was pretty greasy and unhealthy but when you ask for a special order after midnight and your food isn’t spit in you really can’t complain.

There is only one horrific confluence of circumstances that makes it acceptable to eat at Denny’s. It must be so late that nothing else is open; you must have a group of people all of whom need sustenance; and it must be the case that no one is willing or capable of converting groceries into something more gustable. If such a alignment of the planets were to occur, it will constitute an affirmative defense and will absolve you of wrongdoing, but it will not silence the whispers behind your back when you return to polite society.
Shamefully I have met the above-​stated factors on more than one occasion. Normally it was the case that band practice ran long and, being that it was no longer an option to have a pizza delivered, a guitarist would suggest that we seek sustenance (I use the term liberally) at the Keith Johnson Memorial Denny’s (The Denny’s establishment in question).
The ambiance is a mixed blessing; it is well-​lit which allows you to thoroughly inspect the questionable food, but cutting the other way, it prevents you from hiding your shame in a dimly lit corner.
Everything at Denny’s tastes wrong. There is no reason or excuse for this. If you took an egg and applied heat and nothing else, I could add the salt myself and eat it happily. Somehow during the application of heat they go out of their way to add an additional step else that makes the egg taste off. I dare not speculate as to what this step is, but by inductive logic I know it must exist.
Having proven their willingness to spitefully inhibit the flavor of their food, I would be remiss to not mention the unsettling, slightly stinging flavor of all meats. The ham and sausage taste as though they were seasoned with a ramen noodle spice packet. The result is that the ghastly simulacrum of flavor falls exactly into the uncanny valley; creating something that is so close to actual food, but not quite that your brain recoils in horror.
Ketchup bottles and syrup containers will provide the necessary lubrication to ingest the food provided, but they are slightly perverted, much as everything at Denny’s is. A container is generally tasked with holding something inside of it and I have never witnessed a condiment container at Denny’s that entirely accomplished this. All of the bottles have an unreasonable amount of their contents on the bottle itself, on the cap, on the handle, on the table where it sits, and occasionally even on neighboring containers.
I might propose a theory that Denny’s itself emits a malevolent energy that erodes and twists the very nature and goodness of a thing. This would explain the eggs, the containers, the deeply unsettling meat seasoning, however that way lies madness. I simply choose not to gaze into the abyss unless I am forced to do so.
