I got my hair cut here and had a great experience. I arrived early. They let me read in their Quiet Room, which is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. My stylist was on time and friendly. The scalp massage was delightful. The hair cut great. My stylist gave much wanted advice. I highly recommend

I made an appointment to get my 1.5 year old son in to get his first haircut, and the moment I walked to the desk to check in he was getting looked at like he was disgusting. I understand if you don’t like kids, fine! Whatever. Keep it off your face at work. His stylist was amazing! She was really good with him and quick, but thorough. I tipped her $ 12 on an $ 18 haircut, because she worked for it and was kind in the process. I usually go there to get my hair cut, and it’s hit or miss. Most of the time I leave and I love my hair, and sometimes I just think, «ponytails for a while». Usually the staff is really polite. at least that’s been my experience.

I made an appointment here to get a trim on a Saturday after purchasing a Groupon, a few days before the weekend. When the day of my appointment arrived I had something come up last minute that put me behind but I could still make it to the appointment 5 minutes late. I tried calling the salon to let them know and see if I needed to reschedule but no one answered. I got in the car and headed that way anyway. I called again on the way and someone answered this time however, they immediately put me on hold without finding out what I wanted. Not even joking I was on hold for over 5 minutes without anyone coming back. I finally talked to the person and she told me it wasn’t a problem and to get there as soon as possible. I arrived, about 6 minutes past my scheduled time, and went to the desk where I had to wait again for a receptionist to help me. I told her who I was there for and she immediately launched into a spiel about my being late putting the stylist behind, and she may only have time to do a dry cut now if my hair was thick, etc. I gawked at her because this was the same girl I talked to on the way there and she didn’t mention any of this. I said as much and she replied that she didn’t realize what time it was and how long she’d left me on hold for(smh) so that’s why she didn’t mention it. The stylist finally came up front and said don’t worry about it, let’s just get started. I didn’t get a scalp massage, I’m not sure if they don’t do that anymore or if that was because I was a little late, which was half the reason I booked here. The product pushing is annoying but I know that’s an Aveda thing versus a stylist thing so I was willing to let it slide. I went to an Aveda cosmetology school so I know they are all about upselling products. All said and done she did a nice job with my hair and I was happy with it but the lead up to the appointment really turned me off of this salon. The other thing I really didn’t enjoy about this experience was the way the Groupon I purchased tries to dupe you. It has nothing to do with Groupon, it’s an issue with how these are marketed for salons like this that have different tiers of stylists and I can only think it was intentional on the part of Panache. The groupon was for a haircut for $ 29 with a supposed regular retail price of $ 52. If you check out the website for Panache though, the only haircut that costs that much there is with a Director(Master) Stylist, all other levels are considerably cheaper with the lowest level(Junior Stylist) costing $ 30, a whopping $ 1 off if you get a Junior stylist instead of the advertised $ 23 discount. If you are going to advertise like this you should at least be honorable enough to offer different groupons for different levels or make sure that your advertised original price matches the level of stylist you’ll actually be getting. To advertise a promotion this way is pretty deceptive in my opinion but I knew that going in and used a groupon code to get it cheaper so I accepted that I wasn’t actually getting the awesome deal that was advertised. In the end, I won’t be going back even though I liked my hair because I didn’t appreciate the front desk staff, the groupon deception, or the lack of scalp massage that your website states is complimentary with any service.

I was trying to stall time until Chuck E. Cheese opened and decided to ‘drop-in’ at this Aveda hair salon for my kids-mind you I usually go to the Aveda Rain Salon off of Eagle Road… I should have just stopped at the door as there was a delightful sign about kids posted on it something about the fact that they only need appointments — I should have took a picture of it. Very negative first thing walking up to the establishment. After the hair cut I was told I could not place a tip on my card due to ‘their inside relationship’ which is not my problem. I was just turned off. Why make things so hard for people who just want a hair cut for their kids. You will not have to worry about me or my kids coming back there again. And I hope those who have kids have enough sense to go someplace that is kid friendly. If you have to post a sign why not just say kids are not welcome here… Some establishments here in ID have a long way to go to understand exceptional customer service…

Got a facial and wax the other day. I was not impressed by the service provided. I chose panache to get these services because I knew they’d provide something extra for the added cost. NOPE nothing extra. And the girl missed 99% of the hair when waxing my lip. I went home and re waxed it my self. What a waste of time and money. The facial was very amateur. Have the filling she was just out of beauty school. And very little training. Won’t be back for those services again !

I had a 90 minute facial scheduled. The esthitician there was 20 minutes late with my appointment. Very poor time management skills. She blamed her previous clients for her lack of time management. Very unprofessional. No consideration at all for client’s time. To boot she talks to her clients as if they are small children. «Do we have any questions for me?» Over and over and over. I expected more because it is an Aveda salon.

Excellent — I have had both Aleesha and Rachel do my hair and they were both terrific — very helpful in recommend treatments and products and gave me lots of tips on different ways I can style my hair. The staff are all very nice, the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, I can’t wait to go back!

My friends bought me a gift certificate for the ultimate pedicure for my birthday($ 55). So, last week we made an appointment for all three of us to get a pedicure together. The atmosphere was excellent at Panache and we were accommodated quickly. However, the pedicure wasn’t at all what I would have expected from an establishment of this caliber or the price my friends paid for my pedicure as well as their own. When I’ve had a pedicure previously, all of my callouses were removed, there was a thorough massage of my feet as well as my calves, and my feet were rubbed with lotions/oils to make them soft for days. The price I paid for this same procedure at other salons was a lot less than the gift from my friends. I anticipated that I’d get something better considering where I was going and how much the procedure cost. My friends both felt the same about their pedicures so I wasn’t alone in how I was feeling. I won’t go back — Two Rivers in Eagle does an outstanding pedicure every time I’ve gone!

i’m not into dudes(no, seriously). however, i love me some aveda products and panache is located near my workplace. the staff are friendly and they look like they should be on a reality tv show. so. .. if you are not into dudes(no seriously), but you really like aveda products, then check out panache.
