Terrible. Really takes all the joy out of a normally fun hobby. One time I asked if they had a certain type of screws I needed to mount a hard drive in a name brand PC. They said no without looking at what I had. I then asked if they had any used screws. No. I turned and looked at their giant repair shop full of old computer parts. You don’t have any screws back there? No. My poor experiences go back to their earliest days…

Would not recommend RJM for a computer repair or purchase of parts and accessories. Just because you are an introvert doesn’t mean you don’t have to try to make customers feel like they made the right decision to come to your store. Weird personalites come across as rude. NO acknowlegment of anyone coming into the store. Prices are overpriced for known«junk» from China. This place has been around a long time. Unless they seek help from a business consultant, they are ripe to be replaced by even a mediocre competitor nearby.

They did minimal work and pretended they just re-invented the computer, wayyyyy over-charged for a simple virus scan and operating system update. There’s a sense of entitlement because they are the only big game in town. When I went in there, I got a feeling they didn’t want to fix my equipment, they really wanted me to buy their other vintage setups that they are trying to schlep off for way too much money as well. Most of their comments went something like this, «Ohhhhh wow, we have a hard time justifying waking up in the morning to even turn on your computer to fix it. It needs more hard-drive, virus-protection, more labor, more of me inserting a „disc“ walking away from it, then eating lunch… This is going to to cost you somewhere in the realm of your ‘first-born’ child. Want us to continue helping you out here?» Great job RJM, you make me long for the days of horses & buggys, and morse-code.
