I have eaten a ton at Boloco. I even got a member’s card back in college. I liked their departure from ordinary burritos. Their take on burritos have been great and I feel they all have a unique flavor to them. My favorite burrito is the Bangkok Thai. The slaw, peanut sauce, and meat blend together perfectly. For their shakes, I always go with a Cookie Monster. I get to see them crush the cookie right into the cup. If you like burritos but want a change you should definitely try them out.

Such a sin that they STILL can’t get there act together when it comes to something as SIMPLE as rolling a burrito. I love Boloco and have been going to this and other location for years, but for some reason this location 50% of the time the brown rice is undercooked and hard as little pebbles, so now I get white rice and now that’s like mush, ugh then once you get past that your burrito is just sloped together with ZERO pride or care for taste. They just slop the stuff in the burrito without any care… this burrito isn’t cheep lol come on make it right give me my money’s worth, bad placement of ingredients means you get a big bite of JUST one ingredient then the next bite is another ingredient, it’s just lazy, it’s the«I don’t care» food preparation. if the managers are not training and watching the people rolling the burritos, then guess what, they come out gross sloppy and just sad, consistency is the key to success… if this Unilocal doesn’t help, it’s on to another burrito place for me. I’m done.

I love Bolocco! My favorite types of food are Chinese, Indian, and Mexican food. So Bolocco is food fusion heaven for me bc I can get a chicken teriyaki burrito or a tikka masala burrito. These are just a few of the creative options they have or you can even build your own. I’ll take bolocco over chipotle any day

Bf and I came here to grab a bite. We got the Thai burrito and I made my own GOLOCO. boloco, why did you let me goloco?! It wasn’t bad, but what I had in there didn’t make it great either. I made a tikka masala, chicken, fajita veggies since we were trying to go no carb, and corn salsa. Both burritos were just okay. We might come back to try something else, but nothing Chipotle can’t beat! I wish you would have the same formation as Chipotle, where we go down the line and pick what we want. So much easier!

Boston’s local version of Chipotle? It’s just okay. The rice doesn’t really have any flavor. There was way too much of it. Enough meat, I ordered the chicken. not sure how this is flavored. Pretty plain and not as good as Chipotle. Veggies were sparse. Probably won’t be back.

I took my son here at 6PM on November 19, 2015 for something to eat before a performance at Berklee. We had steak burritos — he had plain steak with cheese and I had a Thai burrito. It’s been a long time since I’ve had something so vile. The steak was like rubber in both, the cheese wasn’t melted in his, and the fillings in mine were just a squishy mush. Counter service was unfriendly, the food prep are looked clean but the restaurant was filthy, floors were sticky and unswept/mopped with stuff everywhere, overall uninviting. Can’t believe anyone with any sensibility around quality or cleanliness or service would eat here. Rather than cause a scene complaining to the employees who were obviously English-challenged, we slid both terrible sloppy messes as best we could into the already overstuffed garbage bin and went somewhere else.

Got a Buffalo burrito here with chicken. Actually ordered white chicken which cost an extra $ 1.50. So, the total cost was $ 10.49! What? Yeah, a burrito that was blah. Much better burrito at Chipotle for $ 7.

Boston really isn’t an early morning city! This was the only place open early when I went out for a walk to explore the city. It’s a small quick service burrito joint that happens to have a nice spin on breakfast. The staff was really nice & patient with me looking over the menu. I went for a breakfast burrito with eggs, hash & bacon and a strawberry smoothie. The food was good, quick but needed more flavor and substance but then again the idea is quick & convenient. The smoothie was good and refreshing.

New to Boston just found this place. It’s better than chipotle with flavor sand options. Hope they continue to expand and see them in NY soon for my visits home.

Quick, convenient burrito joint with plenty of customizable options to fit your taste. I was in a hurry to get to the airport and didn’t have time to sit down for French toast and sausage like I would have liked, so I decided to place an online order at Boloco across the street and pick it up on my way. Online ordering made it pretty simple, and I got a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito with some salsa and cucumber. I would have liked a little more bacon and cheese, or even more cheese options instead of just melted jack, but I suppose there’s a little less flexibility online compared to asking at the counter.(Side note, a breakfast sausage burrito option would be great too!) I grabbed my order on the way to the airport, and ate it during the ride there. I had failed to realize that the salsa and cucumbers would be so liquidy, and it dripped quite a bit. I had gone with a breakfast burrito thinking it would be a neat way to have breakfast on the go, but it ended up being a little messy. Nevertheless, it was quite tasty and convenient. The regular sized burrito was bigger than I thought, and I only ended up finishing half. I waited another 3 hours before I ate the other half.

Since Boloco is a Boston company I like to rag on it(being a New Yorker and all that), but I must admit, it’s pretty good. I prefer it to Chipotle, the ingredients are fresher and their items more inspired. While I’ve never tried their global burritos they do sound yummy, but I like creating my own. They have more options than a Chipotle when it comes to the filling and the size of the burrito, so that’s really nice. You could honestly experiment with flavors endlessly, there are that many choices. They also have breakfast burritos! I’ve never had one, but damn, they sound good. I’ve never had them take more than eight minutes to make me a burrito, so I highly recommend Boloco if you want a quick and easy breakfast or lunch.

My favorite boloco, only because it was my first boloco. If you’re looking for super authentic mexican cuisine, this isn’t really the place. But their burritos are very crafty, the portions are big and it’s refreshing. My favorite burrito is the buffalo chicken burrito, but the rest of them are super good too. Also, their nutella milkshake is bomb.

Chips and burritos were excellent for a decent price and quick service. Lots of college students hangin’ out late at night make for a fun atmosphere. Camped-out here after a late night flight, pre-race, and also the evening of the marathon for post-race replenishment. This place was open late when many other«inexpensive» places were not. Will be back 4sho.

It reminded me of Chipolte but with a different style. The food was good and the local soft drinks offered was different but you can get brand Ed drinks from the store as well.

This place has gone downhill… and fast. I was here Sunday and the place was dead empty. After waiting 5 minutes for an employee to make my food, who was busy talking to a friend who had visited the store, I got fed up and tried to get a refund, but the cashier was too busy. So I asked for the make ticket, and I grabbed business card of the GM Adam Friedman off the counter, and then told her I’d just email him to refund me. That was Sunday early evening. I emailed Adam right away and told him the problems I had at this store, about how the employee had no interest in making anyone’s order, and the person in front of me was also waiting for his food when the«employee» purposefully took an extended period of time«washing the blender in the sink» so he could talk to his buddy who had walked in off the street. 2 days later, I hear nothing back and no refund on my CC. So I called the store, and was told that Adam worked on Monday. I asked the manager who I spoke with why he never bothered to respond to my email. I was told«he probably has too much on his plate». I just said I’d dispute the charge with my credit company, and I’m not gonna chase them down for a refund because the GM has more important things to do than respond to lowly customers. Ugh, epic Fail Boloco… the other stores run like a charm, not this one!

Okay, not amazing. I ordered some weird quinoa, beet and squash(with chicken) burrito concoction and a small salad… meh, nothing special. Maybe I ordered the wrong items? At least it seemed somewhat healthy. Would I go there again? Maybe, but I’m in no big rush. The restaurant is a cool space and I like the idea of the place. 3.25 stars.

I’ve only had breakfast here and really… it’s just ehh. I got a bacon egg and cheese bowl with a berry blitz shake. The bowl was ok, but it’s probably not real egg since the bottom of the bowl had a watery consistency. I like how it wasn’t too heavy and that there are a couple kinds of hot sauces!!! I also like how their salsas were pretty mild, but it’s definitely Americanized Mexican food. The smoothie was actually the best part of the meal and was very delicious. It didn’t taste too sweet or thick so that was good. If you are looking for a quick meal and don’t really care whether it’s authentic Mexican or not then it’s a decent choice. Plus, the location is super convenient and close to Berkelee and Hynes T stop and various busses.

«What is this Boloco?» I asked my boyfriend, enunciating each syllable. We were about to find out. Burritos, burrito bowls, and smoothies. And not just burritos a la Chipotle style but burritos with fusion fillings inspired by international cuisine. I like the options for portions especially(choose from original, small, or mini). I tried the Bangkok Thai bowl with tofu. The flavor was okay. I wish the bowl had more veggies and sauce, and the rice was a little dry. The tofu was ample, and I had enough for partial leftovers to eat later. This location was clean and spacious. I would definitely be curious to try other menu items and think it’s a decent option for fast food that isn’t crap.
