We have been seeing Dr. Belder-Preston for our son and could not be happier with her. She is competent, kind, always courteous and very attentive with our son. She takes lots of time to answer any questions we have and is excellent in following up.

I have found this practice to be good. I have been able to get same day appointments for urgent visit for my son almost every time. It’s a big a practice and I have seen a couple of the doctors there. My son’s PCP is Dr Belder-Preston, she is so nice and really took time to listen to my concerns and answer questions, I am shocked to read the other review, I had the opposite experience every time. I have also seen Dr Day and Dr Curran, all were really nice. The waiting room gets a little crazy and some days I had to wait a while, mostly in the winter.

Please do not bring your child here. The front desk staff is rude and unhelpful, it’s very difficult to schedule decent appointments, you will sometimes spend 30 – 45 minutes in the waiting room depending on what time your appointment is, dumb medical assistant/entry level staff that have absolutely no clue what they are doing, and if you need a same day urgent care visit you might as well just bring your kid to the ER because chances are they won’t be able to book you. Also, if you do happen to bring your children here… do not, and I repeat DONOT choose Dr. Diane Belder-Preston as your childrens primary care doctor. She has absolutely no sense of urgency, and is extremely passive about parents concerns regarding children’s health. She can also be downright rude, snobby, and condescending. Overall DONOTBRINGYOURKIDSHERE. You’ll be sorry if you do.

So odd that there aren’t any reviews for this one… Perhaps because it is quite difficult to get an appointment there and get in with the practice. We were recent transplants to Boston two years ago and my daughter was running a high fever and wanted to take her in. They had Saturday office visits and we were very impressed with the physician that we saw even though we were later admonished that only patients of the practice were allowed to come into Saturday hours(oops). We did manage to get into the practice and were assigned to Dr. Day(very few doctors were accepting new patients in the practice). She was wonderful. extremely down to Earth and a young mother as well so very relatable. She is one of the reasons I really miss Boston – such great healthcare. Our daughter is only three and she’s already had three different doctors with our moves but Dr. Day was easily the best. On the other plus side was location, this practice is located conveniently off of the MGH Charles T Stop and the waiting room was wonderful with a children’s kitchen set and a big area for reading.
