It’s not a drive through so why do you compare it to one? I don’t get idiots in 2016. review on the location, the people, the food, the service. Not how it differs from mom’s coffee, your favorite starbucks in your home town of NY or some other idiotic thing that has nothing to do with this fabulous location. This location is bright, cool layout and the cashiers were avoiding eye contact. The barista on the other hand was pleasant, a tall red haired lovely gal that made two awesome drinks and served them to us with a smile. It’s starbucks for crying out loud. What more can you ask for?

The location is great and so is the coffee. If you want to have ice cubes however they say they don’t have them on the menu, and if you want ice water you’re out of luck.

Way too crowded. Way too small. 1 star 2 stars only because the décor and setup of this Starbucks are quite interesting. Otherwise go to another Starbucks. The city ones seem to be smaller, and smaller. And no drive thru! :( The ones near me on Route 1ALL have drive thru’s and are at least 3x the size of this location, WITH parking… I will stick with them.

It’s a Starbucks. One of the larger and sunnier ones. Everyone is very friendly but it can get very crowded on the weekends and the summer due to everyone visiting the Boston common.

After a long walk from the Hynes Convention Center, I needed something refreshing so I got a Trenta Black Tea Lemonade — Sweetened. Despite the cold weather, it was quite refreshing.

It’s a Starbucks. The coffee and pastries are pretty much the same as every other Starbucks in the city. The lines tend to get very long whenever you’d expect to see tourists, especially on Saturday afternoons. Less busy during the morning rush, though, so it’s a good choice on your commute. Nice, friendly staff, too.

Worst Starbucks I have ever visited and I travel extensively. My friends and I were in line after the current customers being served when people began to line up after us. Because we were 45 degrees out of queue, the two employes skipped us and serviced the people behind us after rudely informing us that we were out of the proper line formation. Debating if I should switch to Dunkin Donuts or just brew myself. Too bad that I cannot give negative stars to this establishment and the employees. Many of my friends seem to be right about Starbucks. Just giving the company the benefit up to now.

Friendly staff and very convenient location at the corner of both, Boston Common and Public Gardens. The coffee is good as usual but the interior is not as cozy as the one at Boylston St for instance…

I’m a dog walker for beacon hill so I stop here a lot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. overall the staff is nice and I assume they do their best; being an area where a lot of privileged people live and A LOT of tourists visit I imagine they encounter a lot of snobby people and clueless frustrating tourists, and probably a handful of entitled teens who order those stupid frappucinos, so it’s amazing the staff is as nice as they are. my personal favorite is Eric, who recognizes me out of the café on his break, and will talk to me when it’s slow enough, and will give me an extra shot of espresso in my caramel macchiato on mornings where I’m grumpy.

Went to this Starbucks this morning was having a great day but after being scolded for taking the wrong sandwich I won’t be back. He clearly wanted to say a lot more since he talked loudly to the girl birista about«how people can take the wrong sandwich if their are names on them.» There was no name on it and the guy who put it on the counter didn’t say anything!!! What a jerk. I am in the resturant business right around the Coner and I would never talk down to my customers especially when they make a mistake and apologize for it!

there was a big guy working there. super professional and friendly. our coffees were old so we asked for a fresh brew. he gave us no attitude and gladly did it. he even brought us vouchers for free drinks next time and he brought the coffee over when it was done. there was a skinny asian guy there who was super helpful as well. the location is smaller but if you’re in for a quick stop it’s perfect

The baristas here are some of the best in the city. They do a great balance with crowd management and engaging with customers. The space itself is surprisingly small given the square footage of a Beacon Street corner location, and it can be difficult to find a seat. Overall, this is one my favorite Starbucks in the city due in large part to the great service.

In the past, I’ve generally given Starbucks locations 4 stars; this one, though a great location right next to Boston Common, Chinatown, the Theatre District and the AMC movie theatre, has one downfall: size. I’ve been to smaller Starbucks’ in bustling cities like New York and San Francisco, but they don’t pretend that they can actually seat people. This Beacon Street Starbucks has bench seating and small tables, but in the dozen times I’ve been there, I’ve only actually been able to sit once, and it wasn’t comfortable being knee-to-knee with my neighbors. Also, the layout of the store is very poor, with delivery guys having to use the main entrance and cut around all of the patrons like me who are desperately trying to get out of the New England chill outside. I understand that the space existed before Starbucks moved in, but it’s hard enough to wind your way around the layout without employees and delivery guys with hand-dollies trying to do their work, too.

Nice little Starbucks on the corner of Charles Street and Beacon Street. The rent here must be pricey. This is a great coffee spot to start(or finish) a casual stroll down Charles Street.

Great Starbucks. It’s always busy, but the staff are friendly and move like lightning. There’s good people watching from the bar by the front window, but you’ll have to contend with an endless line of passers-by using the restrooms.

It’s Starbucks. Nothing too exciting. That being said, it was the Starbucks I would occasionally go into while walking to MIT while I was still living in Boston, so that’s cool. There are also at times puppies outside to say hi to. There was one there this morning. He was cute and white and fuzzy. Hi puppies!

This review is just for the Left Coast. If you’ve ever. gone looking for a starbucks in New England, you know they are few and. far between. I was lucky enough to find this one on my way home from being a mega tourist in Boston. The staff were really nice and had good intentions, but took nearly 10 minutes to get out my drink. If I was rating them compared to other East Coast Bucks, they’d be a four. They got a bonus star from me because the staff were very chatty and apologetic that they may not meet my Seattle standards.

3.5 stars overall. Location: 5 stars(right next to Common, way too convenient if I drive to work). Workspace: 3 stars(only one decent sized table). Staff Niceness: 3.5 stars(decently cheerful between 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.) Dirty Chai: 1 star(where 5 stars = Mad River Coffee: see my other review). Espresso tastes burnt and the milk foaminess is odd.

So I spend a ton of time toting my trusty Macbook Pro all over the great city of Boston, setting up shop in coffee joints far and wide. My many, many offices of the day. This makes me especially keen on what differentiates various outposts from the next and why those who work sans cubicle should try this one. #1. There is a restroom that you don’t need a key for! #2. It’s proximity to TWO different T lines is convenient #3. The staff here never makes you feel weird for sitting there till the sun goes down #4. Outlets all along the wall #5. which makes for great people watching on Charles Street #6. Very few college students But be warned: Though they are very few college students, there are tons of soccer moms and their kids(cute kids). This is a busy location(hello, corner of Beacon and Charles) but scoping out a seat is worth the six points listed above!
