Coffee was good and the servers were very nice. Great price as well!

Love this location! The staff is always friendly and helpful, there’s rarely a line and it’s clean. Peets is typically great, but I especially like this location.

The staff here is excellent and personally I love their coffee too! In the winter, their hot chocolate or mocha are my go-tos! Even their baked goods and pastries are delicious!

THE spot for dark roast coffee. PERIOD. If you want light, mild, watery coffee got to dunkins!

Coffee(a vanilla latte) — nicely done and delivered to order. The few window seats are amazing for people-watching on the Beacon Hill on a nice weekend afternoon.

3 stars for the great coffee and the décor but in order to get 2 more a little smile from the staff would help. Since it open I have been trying very hard to buy my latte here but the sense of happiness and customer welcome is definitely lacking.

Open at 5:30am, thereby«getting the jump» on the competition by 30 minutes. Great idea.

Fantastic service! Had the pumpkin scone and i wanted another. The pumpkin latte was so delicious, my sister had the latte and i had the iced version. Starbucks has nothing on this place. Better than Starbucks, better than Seattle’s Best. First time coming to a Peet’s, now i won’t go anywhere else!

As a Seattlelite, I’ve been pretty unimpressed with Boston coffee. However, I felt these guys made the best cup of coffee I’ve had since I moved to Boston!!!

This review is just for the décor in the back side of the café. Simply amazing and with the backdrop of Beacon hill nhood charm the décor is just captivating. Peets coffee needs no introduction and I am pretty sure the baristas here are brewing good caffeine wakeups for the patrons.

I’ve only been once but I’ll definitely be going back. Had the Hibiscus Breeze iced tea… DELICIOUS! They gave me a sample and I thought it tasted sort of like berry. I thought it sounded like something I would not like and I don’t usually like ice tea. But my friend told me it was really good and she was rightttttt I’m craving more lol. The employees were very nice too

First sip of the americano at Peet’s had me a frequent patron. Dare I admit that their americano is the best in the Beacon Hill area for a coffeeshop? Yes, it’s true! Peet’s is a pleasant addition to BH and the café space is nicely laid out compared to other cafes nearby. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful with customers who have questions.

Useless WI-FI. Really, love to come for the coffee — but needed to use my precious cell data plan(setup my own hotspot) because both times we came here the wifi was at a crawl. Maybe they just need to add a wifi pswd(the norm w many area coffee shops)… Either that or get a better internet plan(don’t go cheap on us!)

Came here with a friend after the Japanese festival at the Common for a drink. I’ve fried a couple of the Javiva’s before at a different Peet’s as well as other lattes. They advertised a «barista’s special» Javiva: Raspberry Chocolate Almond so thought to give it a try since they were 50% off. I looked at the board for their prices for large and they were mostly $ 5 so i ordered a large. The order came out to $ 3.21. later the cashier explained there were extra charges for the flavoring syrup. Would be nice if they wrote this right on that same board so people know in advance the cost instead of pretty much pressured into paying it, because let’s face it, who would cancel the order after it was made. While the barista was making it, he made light conversation with my friend and i since it wasn’t busy, about the drink. We then later asked if he wouldn’t mind pouring it into two small cups since we will be sharing it to try it out. He was super nice about it and did so. He also explained we can ask for less sugar/sweet next time when we explained the last time we tried they were pretty sweet. i’d definitely come back, especially the croissants. they’re amazing.

I’m from California, and I’m so happy that they’re starting to open more Peet’s in Boston! I went to the Charles St. store the other day, and I’m already planning to go back. The store itself is gorgeous and comfortable, the barista’s are nice, and my iced chai latte was perfect. Kind of hoping that most locals will stick to Dunks and Starbucks so I can keep this one to myself!

I’m definitely a fan of this latest addition to Charles Street in Beacon Hill. It is great to have another coffee house in the neighborhood. When you walk into Peet’s, you feel welcomed immediately. The set up is ideal with the food/beverage ordering in the front of the store and tables toward the back. This makes it much easier to sit and enjoy your coffee or have a conversation without having the line wrap around your table — like other coffee shops. The employees are very friendly, although they are still«learning the ropes» since they are mostly brand new. I have been there twice, and so far I have enjoyed both hand crafted beverages I have ordered. I’ll be back. Welcome to Beacon Hill!
