Great food and ambiance. Had the cooked hot food(fried rice and spare ribs). Both were awesome.

Best: the Los Muertos cocktail. Think Paloma, and add a touch of cinnamon and some Velvet Falernum to take it up a notch. Very nice. Ah, but this is a sushi, sashimi, and other seafood place, and you probably want to know about that… It was good, frankly a tad overpriced for the quantity given there was not a solid story on it using only sustainable fisheries, which is ALWAYS a right question to ask about.

The new Uni is absolutely incredible. You can still get Chef Tony’s classic Uni sashimi dishes and tastings, but after taking over the old Clio space, they’ve really created something amazing. Their new hot menu is delicious, creative, and approachable but they’ve maintained the quality of their classic sashimi menu. After living in Japan for 2 years, I was unable to eat sushi in Boston. Their sushi chef Akira has changed that– rice and fish are perfectly proportioned and every bite is balanced in flavor and texture. The environment is fun and energetic and I can’t recommend this place enough to people. I haven’t been to late night Ramen in a long time, but maybe that’s a review for another time.

THEFOOD: Wow everything was so flavorful! Uni is much more than a «sushi restaurant» with their offerings of many Asian, Japanese-inspired small dishes perfect for sharing and for trying many different things. There was not one dish we ordered that I did not like with honorable mention going to the pork steam buns which were superb. Overall while the sushi was good I enjoyed the non-sushi dishes more so. The lineup: Beef Shortrib Bulgolgi Tostadas Berkshire Pork Belly Steam Buns Brussels Sprouts Spicy Tuna & Foie Gras Tataki Spicy Tuna Roll Wagyu Sirloin on Hot Rock Wicked Spicy Ground Lamb Laap
Please note, the portions are on the small-side while the prices are on the high-side. THEATMOSPHERE/SERVICE Uni, located in the former Eliot Lounge, seems to have an identity crisis; not knowing whether to be a club or a trendy restaurant all the while trying its best to be both. At a certain point Uni turns down the lights and the music starts blaring. The staff seemed better suited for a club than a pricey restaurant.

Worth every penny, and you’ll need a lot of them for this place. The old UNI was better, but still close enough to a perfect score after the expansion. The menu is large and certainly screams Asian fusion rather than traditional sushi restaurant. This is also seen with the absence of soy sauce on the table. Great experience and recommended to anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine.

Was hoping for some ramen, but the squid ramen wasn’t something that I could share with my partner. But our substituted dishes were far beyond our expectations! Started off with very nice salmon roll. Followed by my tuna poke, lettuce wrap and pork buns. Amazing every bite was delicious! My partner ordered the carne asada tostadas and chicken and waffles! The spice on each was wonderful. I will be dreaming of the next time we make it there. The restaurant was beautiful! there was literally no wait time for our table, and we were walk ins. It was the best meal I’ve ever had!

A warning to those who knew the former Uni and its sister, Clio. Uni is no longer a fine dining establishment; the renovations and rebrand ushered in a lower standard for service and a less refined atmosphere(although the prices have remained consistent). Now a churn and burn operation, we were repeatedly rushed by the staff to the point where we had to request they stop clearing unfinished dishes. Seated and check signed in an hour. Very cramped seating. About six inches between us and the neighboring tables. Luckily I’m thin. A tip to the management: Do not offer a 10:00 p.m. full-menu, dinner seating if you cannot offer everything on the dinner menu at that time since the kitchen is switching over to late night.(If you’re curious, we were refused the $ 125 omakase offering simply because the chef no longer wanted to prepare it that evening.) I have spent a significant amount of time traveling in Japan, and it’s bordering on cultural insensitivity for this establishment to offer an omakase. Some recommendations for diners, if you must satisfy your curiosity: Sit at the bar; the bartender was excellent and the drinks were great. Bypass the rock shrimp(tastes like PF Chang’s). Enjoy the pork belly bun and the cheesy corn dish.

So Uni took over Clio now and everything about this place has reached perfection. Had their tasting menu last night and it was unbelievable. Shuddup and take my money! The one dish with uni, caviar, and egg yolk was so wonderfully harmonious in every aspect: in its visual, taste, smell, and texture, it hit all the right spots and I was in heaven. Our table slow clapped the entire evening. Well done. Bravo. And let’s talk about their wonderful staff. Our waitress Song especially was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our dining experience truly unforgettable.

I went here with a friend to grab a bite to eat on a weekday. Since the remodel, this place has been quite popular so we were sure to secure a reservation. We were on the early side so we were able to be seated right away. We were pretty hungry, so we decided to order several dishes to share: Pork belly steam buns(5 stars): We each got one of these and they were very tasty. The texture of the bunch and the crunchiness of the pickled vegetables with the pork belly was perfect. Yunnan eggplant salad(4 stars): The eggplant was cooked well and had a super creamy texture. The sauce it was served with was delicious as well. The major downside to this dish was its small size. Rock Shrimp tempura(4 stars): Have we had a better version of this dish in Boston? Yes – but this is still a solid version and has a very light batter which allows the shrimp flavor and texture to really come through. Crispy Brussels sprouts(5 stars): This dish was also quite small, but the flavors of this dish were so unique and unlike anything I have tasted with Brussels sprouts before. The meat of the sprouts had a nice flavor, and the crisped leaves provided a different tasty bite as well. Shishito peppers(4 stars): A classic rendition of the dish – nothing out of this world, but a decent portion size. Chang Mai duck carnitas(5 stars): This may have been our favorite dish of the night. When it first arrived we had no idea how to eat it, but all the components together provided a great array of flavors. I still wish it was easier to eat, but it was definitely memorable. Chocolate bar(5 stars): The way they described this dessert, we weren’t expecting much. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the texture and flavor that was imparted on this simple chocolate bar – definitely recommend finishing the meal with this dish. Overall, our server was a bit on the pushy side when it came to drinks and ordering more food, but the rest of the wait staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the food. I also appreciated the fact that this restaurant served cold, unfiltered, creamy sake as it seems to be near impossible to find in the city. Though eating here can be a bit pricey, it is definitely high quality and a unique dining experience unmatched anywhere I’ve been in Boston thus far.

Tonight was our first time dining at UNI and it certainly won’t be our last. The absolute best plates of food I’ve had in a long time. Each dish was as good as the last. The service was superb! Great music and a wonderful atmosphere. At our servers recommendations we got a couple plates from each category so we were able to try all the elements of the menu. The Korean rice cakes and the Thai pork neck yakitori were our favorites. But I’m sure I’ll crave the Chutoro nigiri nightly!

Ohhhhh Clio, we miss your bar with the fun mixology and cocktails, you are what kept us coming back to enjoy a fun unique experience for the last couple years. Atmosphere: After closing Clio, the atmosphere of this space and bar changed drastically. No more fun exquisite cocktail options(though the new menu is delicious, it isn’t the same) :(The music is loud and the place is constantly packed(which is definitely a good thing). Drinks: A much smaller menu from what Clio used to offer and this is what we truly miss. Coming to the bar chilling with Charlie and spending time at a unique bar atmosphere is what we loved and will miss. To give Uni credit the new drink menu is still pretty delish. Food: I can’t complain. Everything was delicious and fabulous. The steamed pork buns are one of my favorite foods in Boston and super flavorful. Shishito peppers are killer and super addicting to pop as an appetizer. The shrimp Maki was insane, but only comes with 4 pieces, just a heads up, love the unique preparation of this maki. Fried chicken, yes! The house kimchi served with this dish is stellar and best I have ever had. The salt and pepper squid was good, nothing great about it, just okay. We did love how the kitchen paced our food and everything came out as we finished each dish, this helped us appreciate our plates even more. Desserts: the desserts were incredible and light. I had a strawberry, graham cracker, coconut ice cream Klondike which was fabulous and the perfect way to end the night.

Food is good but way overpriced. We got the Omasake(chefs choice). The non sushi dishes are much better than the sushi. The dish with the foie gras was the best. The typical sushi and maki you can get anywhere else for less — and just as good. Dessert was disappointing, tasted like foamy cheese. The tables are too close together and music is too loud. The service is stellar. Manhattan prices in Boston.

Very mixed feeling about this place. This is my first time visiting since the conversion from Clio and I’ve never been to the old Uni bar downstairs. Just came for snack, dessert and drinks, so you can take my limited review with a grain of salt. First impression, such a different vibe from before! Previously, it was a classy French restaurant and a little sushi bar downstairs. Now it’s a trendy Asian fusion joint, playing pop music and bordering on a little too loud for a nice dinner. The cocktails are pretty good at the usual prices of $ 13 a pop, maybe goes down a little too easily if you’re not careful… Didn’t try the sake menu but most running $ 10/glass is a little steep. Same can probably be said of the rest of the menu. We didn’t get any of the fusion tapas but some looked interesting. The sushi is very very pricey. I couldn’t resist and ordered the chu-toro(medium fatty tuna). It was 10 bucks a bite and that’s actually a steal compared to the o-toro being offered at $ 36 whopping dollars! I will say that the chu-toro was incredibly tender, which was unfortunately contrasted with slightly tough rice. I would have preferred softer rice to match the texture of the fatty tunna. Uni at $ 11 for 2 was a more reasonable option, it was sweet and silky. The dessert menu was not Asian at all, but I will say the kouign amann cake was pretty awesome. So will I come back? Yea probably. I am still interested in trying out the omakase menu. However I won’t here just to get sushi, will take $ 300 to get me full at these price points…

My boyfriend and I visited Uni for dinner last Saturday night for the first time since the restaurant expanded into the former Clio space. The food was absolutely stunning, true to Ken Oringer standards. However, we were not thrilled with our dining experience at the bar, where we felt extremely rushed and, quite frankly, unwelcome as diners. We often lean towards sitting at the bar when we go out because it feels less formal and there’s more opportunity to people-watch. We also know that when sharing several small plates instead of ordering individual larger courses, it’s best to pace out the order so it doesn’t arrive all at once and cut our dining experience too short. Therefore, when our bartender suggested we put in all six of our choices at once, we initially resisted, explaining that we didn’t want a pile of food to come out in one fell swoop. But the bartender insisted that putting it in all at once was best, since certain stations in the kitchen can get backed up. We complied. Sure enough, out came 4 dishes in the span of 2 minutes. By the time the fourth came out, we were frustrated with the situation we tried to avoid, we had run out of space in front of us at the bar, and we were concerned that the hot dishes would get cold by the time we were ready to enjoy them. We told our runner what had happened and she brought the fourth dish back to the kitchen and assured us she would slow down the firing of the dishes. This successfully put our pacing back on track. We also had a chance to discuss our experience with the GM as well as Ken, so I’m sure this wouldn’t happen again, but it was disappointing to have made an effort to avoid the barrage of food only to see exactly that happen. Fortunately, the food was remarkable(we had the crispy rice ball, spicy tuna roll, spicy pork lettuce wrap, asian cheesy corn, king crab, wagu beef dumplings, and a dessert) but for the kind of money you spend at Uni, it’s important that the service is also top tier.

We came here on Valentine’s Day and only came to eat some appetizers, which were surprisingly overpriced. We wanted to try as much restaurants as possible while we were here in Boston. We had Seared Korean Ricecake, Smoked Beef Shortrib Bulgogi Tostados, and Spicy Tuna & Foie Gras Tataki. These were all okay. Their signature dish, Spicy Tuna & Foie Gras Tataki, was very good, but the tuna was quite small. The people next to us ordered the same thing and their tuna pieces were very much larger than ours. I felt like we had the end parts of the tuna. Overall, this place was decent. I wanted to try the late night ramen, but I didn’t get the chance too. I love to try ramen everywhere that has it because I am a big fan, especially a person coming from new york.

Came here for late night ramen after we read good things on Unilocal.Ended up waiting an extra 45 min after the time they told us they would open only to be severely disappointed with everything. The food was over salted and flavorless as if they were compensating for a weak broth. The service was poor as well as the waiter spilled an awful smelling cocktail on our clothes. All they offered was a napkin to clean up and then brushed it off as if it never happened. Not sure what all the hype is regarding this place, it’s overpriced and not worth the time.

Very price. Each portion is extremely tiny. The ambiance is not that good, definitely not good enough for an expensive restaurant. After I left, all of my clothes smelled like the food(very strong lasting smell). I had to wash my clothes afterwards and took a shower. Food is very mediocre, definitely not worth the price. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the service is good. The waitress gave me great explanation about the dishes in details and had a very good attitude. I will not come back here again.

I’d recommend catching this place at happy hour, we caught the very end. After that it got pretty pricey, but the food was amazing, so I couldn’t complain too much. Me and my buddy Messy Marv went after walking Chinatown, Back Bay and other various neighborhoods in Boston. We had definitely walked up an appetite, and wanted some good sushi with seem pretty hard to find. We had a few drinks when we got in before we ordered, didn’t want to miss happy hour prices on drinks that’s for sure. we each got two rolls and an appetizer and everything was great. The service was good, the place seemed to have their stuff together quite well and I guess for the money they did it up right.

My husband and I had the most amazing omakase experience and all I can say is Chef Tony Messina is unbelievably talented. He breaks the traditional molds of sashimi flavors — pairing global flavors in fresh, unique & completely unexpected ways. My husband and I were floored with each dish. Each course building on the last… it was an experience we won’t forget & absolutely can’t wait to come back to. And as busy as Chef Tony was — he still made a point to chat with us. He was personable, sincere and passionate about each & every one of his dishes. The staff was equally warm, accommodating, attentive and knowledgeable. Uni was more than a meal — it’s a delicious journey for the senses & a can’t miss experience. And one final note — when I made the reservation on Open Table, I did check off the box indicating a special event.(We were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary.) This is the first restaurant that was very conscientious about it. They printed up special menus for us with«Happy Anniversary!» at the top and the hostess pointed out that the date of our night there was printed at the top as well. Little personal touches that made the evening even more special for us. We love Uni and can’t say enough good things.

Hands down the best meal I have ever eaten. Words cannot begin to describe the flavors I experienced during the omakase. Me and a group of friends also attended the late night menu. The pork bun was phenomenal. It has become the food I crave when all else fails to excite my pallet. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and the staff went out of their way to accommodate her. In fear of sounding too fanatical I will limit the rest of my review to just this: Uni has set the standard VERY high for the capability of sashimi and Japanese cuisine.

Uni missed the high expectations for me unfortunately. If you are looking for unique fish, creative combinations and pretty plating you may appreciate Uni. However just comparing value and taste of the fish alone I would rather go somewhere else. We had gone to Clio last year for a special meal and had a fantastic sashimi course from Uni during that meal and knew we had to go to Uni. This year when a big event came up we came to Uni but were very disappointed. Long gone was the large pieces of tasty fish we had at Clio the year prior. We went with the tasting menu, leaving our meal in the chef’s hands. Each plate featured different fish we usually don’t get as sushi, many from around the world. Each plate was beautifully crafted and had unique sides to be paired with each fish. Tasting was taken too literal here. Many of the dishes featured bites of fish. Many were nibble size. When the server told us our tasting was over, did you want anything else? I asked for more food! I don’t have a large appetite. Luckily the tasting is actually just menu items picked by the chef and you get charged for each one so they just brought us another item and charged us for it(a large grilled salmon head, quite tasty by the way and one of the better dishes of the meal). The different tastes were creative and good but there just wasn’t enough fish to warrant the high prices here. $ 16 for a tiny baby spoon of uni with a baby egg on it! Uni is not that expensive, nor that good. $ 32 for 2 baby spoons for a couple. And while all the different fishes from around the world were unique, they weren’t all that tasty to me. I would have preferred some nice fresh cuts of salmon, tuna or yellowtail over what was served to us. A lot of frills but not a lot of meat. If you like the frills you should try Uni, you might like it.

I’ve been to several well known sushi/sashimi spots; Uni Sashimi bar takes the cake for spot number 1. It is puzzling to me that this spot has received anything lower than 5 stars on Unilocal. My boyfriend and I are seasoned foodies, and sashimi just so happens to be among our top 5 favorites long with tapas style servings. Chef Tony Messina, a native of East Boston, ingeniously married these two to create a unique, adventurous menu that changes daily. We dined at the bar with Tony tonight and were blown away with his creativity and close attention to detail. Each bite was an experience/journey as each flavor surfaces on your palette. We ordered the tuna ceviche, hirame, hon hamachi toro, sake toro, hotate, warm oysters, takoyaki, foie gras & unagi along with a complimentary chefs dish named Nino negri. Each dish was beyond excellent. In addition to phenomenal food, the service here was note worthy. Grace, our server, kindly explained the menu and made some sound recommendations. She checked in with us regularly, especially to clear the empty plates quickly as the next came. We will 100% visit again soon. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Made reservations to Uni Sashimi Bar for memorial weekend. Place is fairly small which I loved. Small, intimate and quiet. A bit on the pricey side, but every dish was awesome. Small plates so if you’re hungry be ready to cash out $$$ for a filling meal. Service was also very good, they did mention to us that uni was sold out… but we were fairly lucky to get a few last dishes for the night with uni. Food: — Oysters: Caviar and uni for additional $ 2 and you won’t regret it — Uni udon with xo and quinoa: loved this dish — Yellowtail toro: melts in your mouth! A must — Lobster: Good, but can probably do without this dish — Clam with uni: Clam was so fresh and delicous — Tuna with Foie Gras and strawberry: This is a must order, foie gras just melted in my mouth. — Octopus dumplings: I would say. could of done without it.

M took me here for Valentine’s Day. We were surrounded by older couples aka people seeming to be in their late 40s or 50s. Their dishes are like little tapas and between M and me, we ordered 6 things to share — 3 cold dishes and 3 hot dishes. The cold dishes were truly delightful. I think their menu changes day to day so it won’t be that helpful to write in detail what I ate(the real reason why I can’t write about them is because I forgot what they’re called). Everything melted in my mouth, very flavorful. Fish is fresh and the other decorative ingredients mix superbly enhance the flavor of the fish. AVOIDORDERINGHOTDISHES. THEYAREWAYTOOSALTY. I was really tempted to send them back — Brussels sprouts and this soup with scallops. They were salty to the point my tongue kinda hurt afterwards. If we hadn’t ordered hot dishes, I would have given this place five stars.

You want to know about late night ramen? Well you’re just going to have to wait. Or start reading another review. Because I want to talk about ice cream sandwiches. Sure you’ll come for the ramen(first come, first served every Friday and Saturday after 11 pm), but you’ll come back for that unassuming little cookie sandwich you might overlook otherwise. You’re welcome. On my visit, the ice cream sammie(not listed on the menu) was a chocolate cookie with a coconut ice cream. Sounds simple. Sounds plain. Maybe even a little boring? WRONG! It was the single most delicious thing I ate on a very delicious weekend in Boston. It tasted like having my birthday and Christmas morning and New Year’s and Fourth of July all rolled into one. I can’t believe I almost skipped dessert. What a fail that would have been. But the ramen. You want to know about the ramen. It was nice. Not the best ramen I’ve ever had, but solid. Go for the Vegetarian one. Way more flavor than the Pork one. And based on next-day testimonies from all five members in our party, that ramen must have had some sort of Vitamin B infusion. For regular multi-vitamin takers, you know exactly what I’m talking about :)

Went for the Late Night Ramen 1. You can expect to wait, since it is so popular, so if that isn’t quite your cup of tea especially late night when you just want to eat and go to bed then I wouldn’t recommend it. However, if you’re able to stand for a minimum of at least 35 minutes and you’re a foodie who enjoys trying the latest fad, then its 100% worth it. 2. To start, we had the pork buns which were nothing short of phenomenal. We also tried the scallion pancakes, which were good. The pork buns stole the show here though. I would go back just for them. 3. The ramen, was delicious. I confess, I haven’t tried ramen in many places but this will certainly be one the most memorable meals I’ve had in Boston. The noodles were cooked correctly and the broth was so intense with flavor. It was genuinely an adventure in your mouth. Great atmosphere as well. The service seems a little spotty but it can be overlooked. This will definitely be our go-to late-night option from now in when in the area.

Just had one of my top 5 meals here last night. I came with a group of six for a reservation at 7:45 pm. Had drinks before upstairs at Clio which has an awesome drink menu which they share with Uni. We had wanted to do the tasting menu, but since we were there on the late side the waitress informed us that we couldn’t do an exact tasting menu we could do a chef’s choice a la carte to try a lot of different things. We started with 5 different dishes 2 plates of each. They all came out well spaced. When that was not enough we tacked 3 more plates on at the end. Everything was amazing. we had the smoked uni spoon to start. Raw Quail yolk and caviar and sea urchin. All three things I’ve never had. YOLO. It was incredible. My favorite two dishes however were then Hotate — a Scallopy mushroomy Bacony Delight. the second favorite was the lubina — Spanish Bass with lemon and you know some other amazing stuff. At some point there was also an octopus ball of some sort. Didn’t catch what else it involved but dang. The restaurant is tiny and intimate and a great place for a special occasion. Service was great. Dang. ***also of note we had someone with us who was unable to take part in raw fish and they accommodated her with hot dishes of her own while the rest of us feasted on the sashimi.

This review is for the ramen. They serve late night ramen at 11pm on weekend nights, but let me just say first that this time is actually closer to 11:30 rather than 11pm. Came here on Saturday night with a party of four. We were in the area around 9:30, so we put our names down, and were first on the list. We walking around Newbury for a while and were told to come back at 11pm to be seated. When we got back at 11, we got a drink at Clio(upstairs), since they weren’t ready to start seating people yet. You can bring your drink downstairs, which is nice. When we were finally seated downstairs, the waiters were very attentive in taking our orders and getting us anything we needed. They just made some changes to their menu a couple of weeks ago, so they had more than just ramen. The four of us each ordered the tonkotsu ramen. To share, we got two orders of pork buns, three tacos(mix and match), salmon sashimi, and the short rib scallion pancakes. Pork buns were okay. I’ve had a lot better. I didn’t try the tacos, but they were a pretty good size. Not sure if I would want to have tacos with my ramen meal though. The salmon sashimi was delicious(only four pieces though) — very fresh and the black bean(I think?) sauce complements it well. The scallion pancakes were good, but it looked like a pizza with the short ribs on top of the pancake. I imagined that the short ribs would be inside the pancake. Now let me get to the ramen — when we finally got our bowls, my first impression was that the bowl was so small. After I took my picture(of course), I mixed everything together and started feasting. The flavor was pretty good, but a little too salty/soy saucy for my liking. The noodles were good, but there was barely any pork in any of our bowls. Two of my friends didn’t have any pork, so the waiters were nice enough to bring out some extra slices from the kitchen. They explained that they had some new chefs who were still learning the ways. I’m glad I tried this place and it’s neat that they have late night ramen, but not sure if I would come back again for the ramen. Dan’s 2¢: YeeeaaAAHH, its ya boy Dan, back at you live with another review. I was one member of the squad of 4 that attended as you just read. I’m just going to comment on the food cause I ain’t trying to talk about the waiter and all that, feel me? Pork buns… it’s aight. Shrimp tacos… it was tasty but all but it was just shrimp on a hard taco shell. I was trying to get nice and fancy eating at this joint too, but oh well. I mess with the ramen tho! It was nice and tasty but best believe it aint enough for yours truly. Step that portion game up playa pimpz!

Went for the late night ramen. Put my name down at 9:30pm and was the first person on the list! The hosts said they usually start ramen service around 11:30 but that night it was almost close to midnight before we were first seated. The uni section of the restaurant is tiny but definitely feels intimate. And if you use the bathroom you can walk through the hotel is connected to which is pretty swanky. Back to the ramen. I was pretty sad they no longer had the umami ramen which has unagi(eel) so I picked the traditional pork instead. It was not your typical traditional broth, but it was interesting flavor and the noodles were just right and it comes with radish and really tasty mushrooms and of course tons of scallions and seaweed. We also got the shishito peppers which are dressed in A sweet thick soy sauce and bonito flakes. This was the first time I got a spicy one! I wish all of them were spicy cause the heat is nice. Lastly the ice cream sandwich. This was the best! It’s a chocolate cookie with mint ice cream. They don’t use that artificial alien green stuff that tastes like mint extract. Their ice cream is from fresh mint and it’s just so light and then with the chocolate cookies it’s the perfect way to cap the night.

My husband booked this for me as I was craving sashimi(I am Japanese and from Tokyo). While I do think that they use very good ingredients for most of the dishes, the food is definitely not Japanese. It’s fusion, so that is one thing to keep in mind. Being from Japan, I found the food to be too salty and over-flavored and too much of it. I think for food to be that strongly flavored you need to have it in smaller amounts. In Japan you would counteract this by eating rice or soba, but when we asked for rice, we were told that there was none, only if you ordered the unagi with which came a small bit of oddly flavored rice. I still find it very odd they had no rice. The ambience was also a little off — as if someone as an afterthought made a small partially underground bar area into a restaurant, so the seating was cramped and we kept on having hotel guests unrelated to the restaurant pass our table to use some type of exit. I definitely enjoyed some of the dishes, but for the price I think the menu could be better balanced.
