Strike this one off your list. It so does not belong in Boulder — such a sterile environment and sterile food. Breakfast was bland scrambled eggs(probably out of a carton — as they don’t offer fried eggs). The Potatoes certainly came out of a plastic bag from the freezer and were mushy squares of starch. The place was practically empty and it took them 10 minutes to serve my coffee. This place won’t survive very long.

Everything feels overpriced here. The food is good, not great, and the portions are pretty small. I wasn’t overly impressed with the beer selection either and again, it was at least a dollar more expensive than most other places in town.

This place is ok in a pinch. Interesting menu, but still comes across as processed somehow. I like their teas.

I am really not a fan of the food. It could be because I expected an awesome restaurant but it’s really a fast food place. Healthy and has good looking menu but actually eating it was not as fun; latte wasn’t good either. Ended up disappointed and wishing money was spent elsewhere.

Pretty disappointed here. They were open 10 am on a Friday and after we ordered coffee they told us there was no breakfast weekdays… Stayed for coffee but they had no butter or coco oil for a bulletproof experience. No honey. No whole milk even. Checked out the menu and their egg dishes are all from a premade concoction anyway. Won’t find any pasture raised goodness here.

Loved, loved loved this place. Had no idea it was a chain, but it was so delicious. The design is so nice inside. I ate here and at another location. The soups are sooooo good! All I can say is anytime I encounter a LYFE kitchen I will stop what I’m doing to eat there.

The build out for this restaurant and attention to detail are beautiful. Kids will have a hard time liking the kids menu though. Mine had the chicken strips and the pasta, both were disappointingly. The cookies however were great. I had the chicken sandwich, it was good but it could have been amazing if the chicken were not so over cooked. It needs to be cooked at 165 and not 185. I’m really hoping someone from corporate reads this and fixes it.

First time at LYFE for lunch and I’ll be back if I’m downtown boulder. Great food, speedy service and great atmosphere. You order at the counter and your food is brought out. I had the Quinoa Crunch Bowl(salad) with chicken and hibiscus iced tea. The salad was a great blend of smooth and crunch — not too dry, not too moist. My friend had the grilled avocado chicken sandwich, it came with a small salad. Both looked great and reportedly tasted fantastic. It was a beautiful afternoon with the doors open to the open-air patio. We got there a bit before noon and there was still seating available but it was clearly filling up quickly. Recommend you try it!

Amazing options! Great prices! I live in Denver and replacing anything for gluten free or Vegan gets so pricey, so it might just be me but this place was cheap as chips considering you can please everyone’s restrictions! Food was awesome!

You know those brunch spots where you stand outside in line for over an hour before you can even make it in the door to order your food? We’re all guilty of it. The food is usually(at least, hopefully) worth it, but let’s be real — I can’t be the only one who gets way too hangry by the time food ends up in front of me to really enjoy it. This past Sunday, I was chowing down on the patio at LYFE Kitchen, feeling really sorry for the folks lined up somewhere across the street, and really satisfied with the quick delivery of my breakfast. My first(and only, as I was visiting the area with no prior knowledge of the food scene) visit was a great way to start the day. The concept seems close to home, fresh, and quick. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to you at the table of your choosing. It’s not fancy, by any means, but it gets the job done. For what I’d call a «healthy» fast food chain, the quality seemed decent, the food tasted fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. My basic egg sandwich was affordable and filling enough that, along with a «lyfe water» with chia, I wasn’t hungry until well past lunch time, which was great since we were on the go. Vegetarian friendly. Gluten free adaptable. Calorie and sodium counts readily available on the menu if you’re into that sort of thing. Overall a fast, easy alternative to a weekend brunch.

Totally enjoyed meal. Vegetarian here. Fresh and creative. Not reliant on seitan and tempeh(processed soy products) for menu items like native foods.

I want to love this place. My partner and I happened upon it and I was drawn in by the display of herbs and tons of gf options. He had the salmon and an IPA, I the crunchy chia bowl with watermelon water, and we shared chips and guac. Nice big chunk of salmon. Homemade chips were… stale? Hard to break/bite into. As I mentioned in my tip the chia bowl was way spicier than I imagined and I wish I knew what I was getting into before I mixed it all together. Hard to taste the rest of the bowl when my tongue is on fire.

I thought this was a real restaurant but it’s more of fast food joint only not so fast. In fact, incredibly slow. Our appetizer(the faux meat Vietnamese lettuce wraps) came out after we were done eating our mains. I went up to the counter to check the status and there was no one working there. I stood there for 5 min before some chick that was running food came out of the kitchen and offered help. I got the chicken, spinach, mushroom penne and it was alright. A bit on the bland side but the portion was more generous than I thought it would be. The place is operated very lean as if seems like not enough employees were scheduled. I guess they think they can skimp since the diner has to do everything themselves.

I went here for lunch with my mom and kiddo one day, and the overall impression we got from our meal was that the food here was fairly bland. We ordered the grilled veggie salad, the chicken & avocado sandwich, the little lyfers unfried chicken strips, and a cucumber mint lyfe water. The salad was seriously lacking in the roasted veggie department, so that was a major disappointment. The sandwich was the one thing that was OK — not great, but not completely devoid of flavor either. The chicken strips were blah. My one year old will eat anything and everything I give him, but he became bored with these quickly. After trying one, I could see why and didn’t bother pushing him to eat more. The infused water was good. I’d go back for one of those, but would most likely skip the food. I like the concept of this place and what they’re trying to do. Maybe we just didn’t order the right dishes?

Pricey! We stopped in here after a leisurely evening of exploring Pearl St. The concept seems similar to many cafes back in Columbus(eg. Northstar) with emphasis on healthy fast casual food. I had the grilled veggie salad, corn chowder, and ginger pomegranate lemonade. For the price, I expected to be blown away. Everything was good, but not great. I liked the corn chowder(non-dairy chowders always appeal to me because of mild lactose intolerance). There did not seem to be any refills on beverages, even the iced tea(which was not inexpensive either). Table service was great — they cleared away our dishes in a timely manner, and the dining room is very appealing — open, many seating options, good people watching. I’m just not convinced of the value for price paid.

After eating my meal I’m surprised Lyfe Kitchen is only rated 3.5 stars. Just had dinner on Monday at 630pm. The restaurant is lightly attended. Ordered Thai Red Curry Bowl and Garlic Parmesan Sweet Potato(baked) Fries. $ 18.51 later and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I read several of the 3 and below reviews. They have a common thread of dissatisfaction with the service and value(price). I found the service very attentive and pleasant. There’s no dedicated server and I was approached by 3 different employees to serve my food and check on me. Only minor hiccup is a server thought I was finished with my food when I wasn’t. No big deal, but as stated in other reviews the portions are not over-sized, they are just right in my opinion, so I’m not leaving any food on my plates especially because it was so delicious. My hunger is sated. My taste buds were wowed. I feel like I ate a terrific compromise between satisfaction and guilt-free consumption. I truly received what I paid for: creatively prepared, healthy, delicious fare. I’m returning.

Horrible glorified McDs trying to front as a heathy restaurant. Hash is not fried potatoes with onions and mayo on it. All eggs are out of a carton. No honey or jam for their English muffin. Really a crappy breakfast! Try not to be fooled by the hip look and it’s fancy healthy looking crap. it’s junk!

LYFE Kitchen is… A plethora of options for every kind of eater(gluten free, vegan, etc.) Friendly service A modern space Quick and Easy Went with the hubby, a friend and her toddler. All of us(including the vegan and the toddler) had several options to choose from. Food was brought out quickly and the atmosphere allowed for a tiny tantrum without too many turned heads. I had the steak and it was fabulous! I tend to eat smaller portions, so it was perfect for me, but someone with a heartier appetite might like to order a second dish. We’d come back again!

A very modern place. Order before you sit. Get yourself some water from the fountain — which claims to have fizzy water, but it’s not that fizzy. Bummer. I found the food pretty good, not huge portions.

I went to Lyfe Kitchen with a buddy who had eaten here previously. He had commented that the food was good but the service needs work. That belief was completely confirmed as when we went together the service was very scattered. Food was coming to wrong tables, not once, not twice but four times the wrong food came to our table. Also the order of food to the table was completely silly. I received my curry in about 15 to 20 minutes at about the same time my buddy got his sweet potato fries. His salad did not come out for another 10 minutes after talking to the waiter twice. The food was solid as everything we tried was tasty but it did not make up for the terrible and scattered service. They were nice enough to comp for the salad which took about ½ an hour to get to the table but for foods sake please get your logistics in order. It was embarrassing and I would never take a business client into such a mess. This would have been a one star but the food was pretty good.

Decent Boulder food… free of anything of which Boulderites are currently terrified. Despite the effort to produce PC food, there is a lot on the menu that is quite tasty. However, the portions are small and the prices are not. I don’t mind eating here, if a companion insists, but I doubt I’d return of my own volition.

This is what the $ 2.99 berry bowl side gets you: — 5 grapes — 4 blueberries — ¼ of a strawberry — 3 blackberries Never again. I guess it is better than a $ 16 acai bowl at Zeal?

I am so incrediblyTHRILLED that this location has finally opened. I have been anxiously awaiting it for months. I am pleased to say that my first experience here far exceeded my(already high) expectations. To say I was impressed with the food would be an extreme understatement. The appetizer(The Edamame Hummus & Veggies) was delicious. I love regular humus, but this kind made of edamame has definitely taken the gold medal in my opinion. I have never seen it anywhere else and I would gladly return to LYFE just for it. But how could I possibly be content with just the(amazing) hummus with so many other delicious items on the menu?! The Sweet Corn Chowder was delicious. It’s perfect for fall. I’m not normally a fan of soup, or corn, but this was so good that I can see myself craving it all season long. The Tal’s Grain Bowl was one of the most unique dishes I’ve tried of of LYFE’s menu. It was made with a vegetarian ‘beef’ that was unlike anything I’ve ever had in the past. And boy was it good. It was very similar to beef in both taste and texture(which is rare for a fake meat) which was very nice. The dish as a whole was sweet, yet still very spicy. I loved the combination of edamame, yellow pepper, and gardein beef. It was interesting and delightful. The meal ended with the Chocolate Budino. This was perhaps one of the most delicious deserts I’ve ever had. I have tried to make chia pudding before and it does not even begin to compare with the deliciousness of this item. I’m not sure what they did here, but this chia soaked in pomegranate paired with chocolate budino and toasted almonds was TODIEFOR. There is no other desert that will satisfy my craving for this and I know I will come back to LYFE time and time again just for the Budino. You cannot live without giving it a try. Let me end by saying that I was utterly and completely BLOWNAWAY by the service here at Boulder LYFE. I know this may not be representative of what’s normal with it being a special event and all, but it is worth saying. Everyone here was up-beat, beyond helpful, knowledgable, and totally awesome. This service was far superior to any I have had anywhere else in recent memory. If LYFE can manage to replicate this type of service at all of their locations, then world domination is the next step. Way to go Boulder LYFE. You’ve made a loyal customer out of me. I will return to you very, very soon.

Awesome restaurant! So happy Lyfe kitchen has moved to Boulder & downtown to hoot! Attended a special mock opening event which provided staff the opportunity to train in their positions which I thought was fabulous. When we arrived for the dinner we were greeted at the door and provided some yummy edamame hummus and cute reusable coffee cup koozi. Robin met with us in the doing area and carefully selected our menu and beverages with our dietary needs in mind. We reported to the register where the staff placed our order and made substitutions as needed. We were informed of where the water and silverware were and picked them up on the way to our table. The kale banana Smoothie and lemonade arrived shortly and omg the smoothie was to die for! The food came out quickly and the presentation was awesome. We really loved Arts Unfried chicken — so awesome to find a place where the food is both delicious and nutritious! The menu tells us not only the calorie count for each it but also the sodium content. The pumpkin budino and vegan chocolate chip cookie both outstanding! The staff were super attentive and friendly. I definitely look forward to giving them high marks on the survey we received & returning when they open.
