I had a great experience at Enright. After moving to the area from Brooklyn, and experiencing a less-than-stellar haircut at a different salon, I was wary. Enright staff were friendly and professional, the space is nice and airy and clean, and they use lovely, natural Aveda products. I had a cut done by Liz, who was very good. They seem to have lots of different services, and promotions for products and referrals. The prices seem very reasonable. I will definitely come back!

I had a really nice first visit here and had my hair cut by co-owner Linda. She really listened, helped me think through my hair care routine, and offered really helpful suggestions. It was so helpful that I feel compelled to leave a review after a single visit, which I normally try not to do! Everyone else was super nice, too. Coming from the big city, I find the prices quite reasonable for an organic salon. I’ll definitely go back.

OK bumping up to 4 stars. Very very nice people, easy-ish to get an appt. Haircuts are improved, owner no longer waxes but new woman does a good job. Aveda salons are great for anyone who is averse to chemical smells, but products they use in hair do still have a slight fragrance. Nobody tried to push products on me but they do have a nice selection of stuff up front. I’m accepting I’m in brattleboro now after almost 3 years and this is the best we’ve got. It’s not going to be like NYC where it’s super competitive and you can find cheap quick waxing salons or affordable hip hair salons. For this town, it’s great!

Wonderful experience! Depth of caring. Very personal. I’d go back and again. The best in town.

I brought in a photo of myself with my hair cut a certain way and the girl totally butchered my hair with a cut that was nothing like what I asked for or what I had shown her in the photo. I will never go back to that salon.

I relocated to Brattleboro in the fall of 2012 and the time had come to part with my beloved hair stylist from Boston. Driving 2.5 hours one way to cut my hair simply wasn’t practical anymore. Enter: Enright and Company. I was terrified to trust my lovingly(and expensively) cared for locks to a new stranger. My anxiety was for naught. Kimberly has been fantastic! I started with a basic trim/clean-up cut of my longer style and added in some perked up blonde color. When that went well, I moved toward a pretty drastic, shorter cut that I’d been eyeing for a number of years. Kim has a great eye for cutting, and helped moving me gradually toward the look I was hoping, so I wouldn’t panic at first! She also kept in mind ways we might change the color as the seasons shift, to ensure it would all work together. Having had mediocre experiences at 2 other Aveda salons, I was curious to see how my color held up. I love the products, but haven’t always had luck with color sustaining. Again, I was pleased. The color lasted really well beyond even what i expected. As a graduate student, I sometimes let my locks lapse longer than I should. But they are always pleased to see me, and never make me feel bad for my growing roots! The salon is mid-scale, not totally basic and not totally fancy. But it’s bright, and comfortable, and makes you feel right at home. I was perhaps most pleasantly surprised at their prices. Coming from a big city, I was astonished at the quality for the cost. Definitely give Enright and Kimberly a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This place rocks my smartwool socks! Affordable, personable, and I received probably one of the best cuts Ive received in YEARS! Typically I allow many… many months to pass before even considering going in for a hair treatment/cut. This is due to the fact that I move often, and have issues trusting a complete stranger holding a pair of scissors to my head. Being in graduate school definitely allowed more time to elapse before I was in DYER need of some stylin love.(pun intended). Due to unanticipated budget restrictions I ended up having to change my plans from what I had originally scheduled, and felt pretty lame in doing so. However, the stylist was so wonderful about the change and she made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole session. This is definitely my new«go-to» hair place whilst living in Brattleboro… Reasonable prices(a cut and blow dry for under 30 bucks!) great/clean environment, friendly/helpful staff!!! This place will not disappoint. And its male and kid friendly! :)
