I finally got a chance to check this place out last weekend, and I am really surprised they do not have any reviews yet. We were really psyched to try their vegan brunch, and left very happy and so excited to return again! All of their food is super fresh, organic, local(as much as possible, but the owners promise more now that summer is approaching), vegan(no meat, no dairy) and gluten free. My husband and I were told about this place by a friend who also raves about their«Nomlette», which we had to order. It is more like a crêpe than an omelette, made with chickpea flour among other things. Inside is pesto, daiya cheese and some sort of fresh tomato salsa. It is served over a very generous bed of fresh greens, shredded purple cabbage and carrots and topped with a garlic aoli and avocado slices. The serving is very large and is only $ 8. A steal for brunch of that size, creativity, ingredients and caliber! We also ordered their coffee(from Mocha Joe’s) with hemp milk(which I’ve never had before and LOVED). They also had mint cucumber water for $ 1 a glass(so refreshing) and free water if you are on a budget. Also available on their menu is fresh juice, which just looked and smelled amazing. Also in this location is a place to get massages, listen to cool music, shop local and fair trade goods and they have different concerts, events and even educational workshops for things like shiatsu massage(my friend is in the class right now). The place when we went was served by the owners, two people… and because everything is fresh and made to order it can take some time, so please be aware of this. I promise you, everything is worth the wait… plus the people are all so nice and welcoming. I should add since my review is so glowing, I do not know the owners or anyone involved with the place. I am just so thrilled to have visited such a cool place and to know that it’s only 20 minutes away. I hope to get back up there for brunch and other visits every time I am in Brattleboro. It’s that awesome. Thanks for reading!

This place has everything a freethinker would pine for. De-lish(almost vegan) grub, fun, handmade local retail from knitted alpaca hats to tinctures and tees(or teas), and events going on all the time. Reiki and massage sessions take place on the regular and live music and open mic are weekly events, as well as yoga, dance and professional practitioners from various holistic realms; there is something for just about everyone here. The best part about Equilibrium is the powerful energy you feel in the space. It is a place where the community gathers to share their lives and loves.
