This is a really cool place to visit for gardening, plantings and flowers. They have a really neat layout for their items and it’s fun to walk around to see what they have. It can get busy, and on a busy weekend, they’ll have a police officer slowing traffic so people can get in and out of parking spots on the side of Rt 5. There are always plenty off staff on hand to assist. If one can’t help you with a question, they’ll often radio someone who can. Checkout staff are cheery and pleasant to deal with. You will pay a little more here for things, but it really shows in he quality. We’ve purchased, flowers, veggies and bushes and they’ve all done very well. Again, a fun place to visit during the growing season.

Oh how i love thee Walker farms. I love how you pick the finest from the back yard garden and lovingly bring them in and selll them like they are part of yoru family. All organic farm, just a beautiful place to get your fruit and veggie fix. Wish i had this in NYC. Sigh. Best time to go is late July/August when everything is in full bloom and ready to go!

Opens from April/May(forgot which one) to November, Walker Farm sells some pretty nice vegetables and fruits. The prices are slightly more expensive than the local supermarket’s, of course, but the quality of the produce is much, much better. They also have quite a large selection of produce. I think they sell eggs and milk too. They also sell a lot of gardening things and flowers. Since I don’t garden, however, I can’t comment on them.
