This place has never disappointed, been coming here since I was a young kid. Now I bring my daughter here to eat and my husband. Saturday mornings are definitely very busy not too bad busy way though that’s when you that’s when you know food is good when there’s a constant flow of people. The Waitresses were doing a phenomenal job as you are constantly checking to see if we needed a refill on coffee and water. As well as seeing how our meal was going. I very much enjoyed the corned beef hashbowns and toast, i was happy and full and just about walked away without my leftovers! A waitress quickly ran the box over to me, as they were promptly clearing the table for the next guest. They had a nice children’s menu with a variety of things you could order. As well as the opposite side is a coloring page in which they provided crayons for. They also brought a drink for my daughter with a lid on top. They had a variety of condiments for topping your food with ketchup sriracha different types of jams salt and pepper of course.

This is my second time at this location and my first after having visited another location in East Bremerton and I can say that there is no comparison, the other location is better! The service and everything is much worse here. Even the mimosas are served differently(better) at the other location. I shan’t return.

I have eaten here many times over that last 20 so years. But on Saturday night March 5th we had usually poor service and food. We were forced to have a 20% tip added to our bill to make things even worse. I have contacted ownership via email on their website and await a response before I will elaborate on my issues.

Once every couple of weeks I’ll stop by to order biscuits and gravy to go. I’ll make the order, go across the street to Starbucks to grab a coffee. When I come back a few minutes later, the order is ready to go. Every time I’ve found the staff to be very pleasant. The food is pretty good but consistently salty which is why I wouldn’t give it five stars and also why I don’t place this order more than every couple of weeks.

My husband and I ate here yesterday morning and the food was anything but appetizing. I ordered a plain waffle and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The waffle was so thin and was thin and looked like it still needed to be cooked a little longer. They should have just called it a crêpe because of how thin it was. As far as the biscuits and gravy … It pretty much tasted like clam chowder over some two day old biscuits. It was very disappointing and quite disgusting. I didn’t even finish it. My husband ordered a Ruben sandwich and he too said it wasn’t all that great. Just save your money and go somewhere else for breakfast.

Oh man. This place is legit! I have been searching high and low for a breakfast joint that serves the classics right. I was raised on homemade biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, and eggs fried in bacon grease. While that is not my usual breakfast because I do not wish to meet an untimely demise, I like to indulge from time to time. This is not gourmet fusion breakfast. It is not fancy like Pesos or Toulouse Petite. It is not cheap rubbery Dennys. This is your classic American diner. The prices are higher than IHOP or Dennys, but the food tastes better. I can rate a breakfast joint’s food quality by their pancakes. Pancakes are a touchy good for me. Usually, I don’t eat restaurant pancakes. They are dull and fairly flavorless, while being a calorie bomb. Not pancake house! My SO got pancakes and I decided to try a bite. They were really good! They had great flavor a texture, and I wanted to keep eating them! That is super rare for me. I got the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. I didn’t want to share. Again, great flavor and texture. The breading wasn’t too heavy or thin, the gravy was thick without the starchy jelly issue. My eggs were cooked to order(over medium). I recommend this place if you are looking for a good classic American breakfast.

What a great breakfast spot if you are into a menu of too many combinations of lukewarm hash browns /eggs /pancakes etc. Matter of fact the coffee was the only item at satisfactory temperature. The food service was too fast indicating that the majority of the items were coming from a warmer — which isn’t a problem when temperature and taste is not compromised. But seriously the name of the business has Pancake in the name. Cold pancakes? Seriously guys. This business boasts 50 years of business although I’m not sure how they have stayed in business this long. The décor came as no surprise as totally out of date and in dire need of a face lift. Which again could be excused if the food quality was out of the park amazing. Staff seems friendly although my server only once asked how my food was. If you are looking for amazing breakfast head to Hi-Lo’s on 15th street down the road. It’s worth the wait and they have a really cool VW bus you can reserve for large parties!

This place is alright. It’s like any other breakfast joint with cheap prices and mediocre food. Nothing stands out too much to me and no particular food item made me go «wow! I’m coming back for more». I’ve gone a couple times to this place but every time, I just feel kind of «eh» about my food. Yep, just«eh».

Reason I’m giving three stars me and my boyfriend went here for breakfast and the pancakes and French toast and hash browns were Hella good but when my boyfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy he said it just tasted like salt and returned it otherwise I would have gave it a four coming back here again:)

Well we were seated quickly and every thing was good until we ordered the food. It took probably around 40 minutes to get our food, and it came one plate at a time over the span of 15 minutes. The first two plates that came to our table were barely warm to the touch and very disappointing. They were scrambles with cheese and potatoes so when the cheese is cold you know it sucks plus it didn’t taste any better. Other than that my Pancakes were great and hot. But if I were to go there again which I probably won’t I would only get pancakes and pray that they’re warm. Oh yeah and our waitress was nice I think the problems in the kitchen.

I’m giving it a two and not a one because their pancakes were pretty good. The ladies working were rude and not friendly at all. The crab in the Benedict was so gross! I pulled it out. The waitress gave us our food then never came back to fill our water. We have two small kids with us and were never given water for them or even a straw for them to drink from our water cups. Don’t go here.

8 pm on a Saturday night — this place was EMPTY which should have been our first sign, but we trudged ahead, two tired adults, two hungry kids, and on apathetic baby en tow. We were seated immediately. Point to the server. We were asked what, if anything, we wanted for drinks or appetizers. Another point to server. 3 waters were had, and one coffee. They came quickly, but that single, 4 ounce cup of coffee was all I would see of the black, over burnt liquid they decreed coffee in that joint, because apparently they don’t do coffee refills. Our meals were ordered: two kids meals of pancakes, one with strawberries. We’ll get to that in a minute. The adult meals were chicken fried steak with fries, pancakes, and eggs, and my meal was eggs and bacon with Pancakes. We had such a difficult order, you see, and I decided to screw them up by asking for an English muffin as well. My daughters, loving little restaurant terrorists that they are, decided after ordering that they needed a hot chocolate, and the waitress happily obliged. Apparently it was really good, but I wasn’t about to taste it. I don’t do sharsies with children, after all. Our food finally came, but alas, my older daughter was the proud recipient of strawberry crepes. Crepes? Jeebus, people, she can’t even pronounce the word. Don’t try to feed to ti her. Go fix it. My English muffin didn’t come. No big deal, since I didn’t finish an 1⁄8 of my meal, once I got a taste of the«eggs». Scrambled eggs, I had asked for, not rubber square of yellow sponge which may or may not have had essential oil of egg dripped onto it. Those, obviously, were not eating. The bacon was the only thing worth a damn on the whole place, but even that was quickly tired when mixed with the mess that was the other options. My husband’s meal was«just okay.» This is a man who can eat a totino’s oven baked pizza every night of his life and LOVE it. The breading was okay, he said. The steak ‘all right’, the gravy not so great. And he had the same problem with the eggs. All in all… we will never be back.

Great coffee and even better bacon! FPH is a local gem in Kitsap County. This is my 2nd visit, the 1st to this location. The service was great and friendly. The wait staff is constantly looking to refresh your coffee, sometimes even before you finish what you have! This trip, I had to have the Bacon Waffle. Yes, bacon is IN the waffle as well as a strip on top. Ordered with 2 eggs scrambled, I had a delicious breakfast! I would love to see the specialty waffles served as 2 instead of just the one. A little more bang for the buck. Not the cheapest place to have breakfast but well worth the trip!

Come here for BREAKFASTONLY. When I sat down and looked at the menu and what other people were eating, I thought«This place looks like an iHop and a Denny’s smashed together. So I guess its iDenny’s now?» Portions are large, staff are friendly and courteous. Service was quick. Food. it was edible and satiable. Typical American diner type food where its quantity over quality. Well…at least my food and coffee weren’t cold.

Great service… thanks Irene… great breakfast… thanks Kitten, thanks kids. Sometimes the sausage just is missing something… it may be a hit and miss item. But all in all, I like the restaurant and you will also. The food is very good, reasonable prices, sometimes busy but never a real long wait… and pretty good service!!!
