Wow! Peter’s does it again! Every time I have a craving for sushi I think of Peter’s. If you don’t mind a little wait(every time) or the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant then you’ll have a very enjoyable experience at Peter’s. Going out on a whim I went with the cucumber sushi roll. cheers to my new years resolution. I loved every bite of my Tuna Roll in Cucumber. News! They are open on Sunday’s now!

Go early because seats will fill. Expert sushi chefs. Friendly and fast service combined with reasonable prices make this a hidden gem in Brentwood. I really enjoyed it.

Best affordable sushi in Nashville! I’ve tried at least 10 – 15 sushi spots and Peters is the most consistent. Always great service, always great quality, always PACKED in there. I go at least once per week for lunch and a couple of times per month for dinner. Its the best! I’m guilty of ordering the same exact thing most times(b/c I have a gluten allergy mainly). Salmon avocado roll is great and simple — add some spicy mayo and you can’t beat it! Curry chicken is also amazing!

Growing up in the 808, I’ve eaten more than my fair share of fish, both cooked and raw, and to me, Peter’s is the only sushi option in Nashville. Other places just don’t taste right. On the Thai side of things, Peter’s is likewise good.

People would always tell me Peter’s sushi was the best in Nashville. I can’t say the best yet… still plenty others to try… but it’s delicious! I cannot wait to go back for more!

My husband and I had a pretty good dinner at Peter’s, but I’m not sure what all the hype was about. We could have gotten similar sushi at any one of a number of sushi places closer to us, without waiting for a table. The sushi was fine, but it didn’t stand out and the specialty rolls seemed a little smaller than usual(for $ 12, it just looked kind of puny). We didn’t try any of the standard — cheaper — rolls, which were probably a better value. We also tried fried tofu with red chili sauce(good), squid salad(very good and something I don’t often see at sushi/Asian restaurants in town) and a variant of Tom Yum soup with chicken and shrimp(okay, broth was good but lots of noodles and very light on the meat). They did cater to our spice preferences well — very spicy soup for my husband and minimal spice on the squid salad for me. Service was slow — both to get the food out(except the sushi, which came out quickly) and even worse when we were waiting for our check. I also was disappointed that both parties next to us had an orange to end their meals, and we didn’t receive any. Yes, it’s a little thing, but it just reinforced the overall impression of subpar service. TL;DR: decent but basically average food and subpar service; we won’t be back.

I hate posting negative reviews, but we ordered $ 90 worth of sushi and couldn’t stomach any of it. The first roll we actually tried to take one bite and had to ask the server to take it away because it tasted and smelled so fishy. She took it from us and never asked what was wrong with it. I am guessing from her actions that this is pretty common. The restaurant was packed, so maybe I am just spoiled since I have been only eating Los Angeles sushi for the last 12 years, but if you are coming in from out of town and looking for some good sushi, this probably isn’t your place. I will probably go back to try the Thai food though. It smelled really good. Good luck!

Was hoping for excellent but just okay. My partner ordered Curry vegetables and I ordered Stir-fry Vegetables. When we received our order his had no curry at all. Mine was missing some of the vegetables that were listed on the menu but I noticed they were on my partners plate. The server was very apologetic and offered to remake them but we never have meals remade as you never know who you will tick off and receive an extra surprise in your meal. Anyway what we received was just okay. No returning to Peters for us.

We have tried many different sushi restaurants around Nashville and this is our personal favorite! The fish is incredibly fresh and the roles are creative. We had the salmon-dragon role, tuna tataki, white tuna nigiri, and the super crunch roll. Every item was delicious and we will certainly return to explore other roles! The host checked in with us once to take our order. Would have been nice if she had checked on us once in a while.

Modern place to hang out with friends, it can get really crowded, and too noisy. Food is serve quickly though. Price is reasonable. Great location. Great vegetarian dishes. Sushi is good but not great. Food is decorated well. Thai tea is a little too sweet. Soups are great, specially tom yum. All the noddle stir fry fished can be cooked in two ways: either dry, or little soupy. Never had any problems with customer service.

My husband and I love this place. We moved here from Southern California so we have really high expectations when it comes to Sushi, and Peter’s does not disappoint. There servers are attentive and friendly, the food is good quality, and the menu has enough variety to please even the pickiest of pallets. Peter’s may not have quite as many cut roll choices as other sushi spots, but I actually like it that way. To me that means they pay attention to quality over quantity. I have tried 4 other Sushi places in and around Nashville and Peter’s beats them out each and every time!

Great sushi and Asian cuisine spot. Reasonable prices and, although always packed, they have really quick service. Try the curry if you like more of a kick in your meal, you won’t be disappointed.

Best sushi in Brentwood, of course the only place I’ve been here. I recommend the Sushi Salad or Pad Thai, both excellent. I will definitely come back, maybe even tomorrow:)!!

Peters consistently provides the highest quality and best prepared sushi in Brentwood. It dawned on me yesterday that while I’ve been coming here for years, I have never tried their Thai offerings. So, when I don’t need a sushi fix, I’ll try some other menu items. I always order the yellow tail nigiri and spicy tuna rolls with seaweed on the outside. I prefer those to rolls with rice on the outside, as those tend to be so big. Other places tend to put way too much of the spicy mayo in the rolls, but at Peters there is just enough to get the flavor but not overpower the tuna. Along with the sushi items, I also had salad with ginger dressing and a bowl of miso soup. Those are pretty much like what one would get at any other sushi restaurant. We had great service, and our waiter was very attentive in spite of being very busy. It is good to try to go a little before 11:30 or wait until 1pm or so, as the restaurant fills up during lunch, and there is almost always a line of people waiting for tables. As the number of restaurants in this area have increased exponentially over the last several years, the fact Peters almost always has a wait for tables is testament to their high quality food and consistently good service.

Honestly this place used to be my go-to for Thai food, but I feel the food quality as well as the services have dipped. I’m also not a fan of a restaurant who serves 4 different types of cuisine. The Pad-Thai used to be amazing, but the last couple of times I’ve been there it has been way too sweet. I was also a big fan of their Nabeyaki udon, but it has gotten a bit salty for my tastes. The sushi is absolutely dreadful. Honestly, don’t get the sushi. Everything is deep fried and covered in sauce. How are you supposed to taste the fish??? Makes no sense to me whatsoever. All in all I don’t think I would be as harsh if they only specialized in Thai cuisine, but since they say they do everything then why not critique them on everything?! There are plenty of other sushi places in Brentwood, search for them! Don’t settle!!!

I used to love going to Peter’s Sushi, but over the years the quality and service went downhill. The prices are a little pricey for the service and quality of food. With so many other great sushi places in Nashville, I rather spend my money somewhere else.

Hands down the best sushi in Nashville. Try my favorite green dragon sushi. Everything is great here and are made healthy. Been going here for years and it will continue to be my main place for my sushi fix. They have awesome pad thai and red curry!
