I’ve always preferred this laundromat even though there is a closer one to my apartment. It is always clean and all the machines are working. However, I have recently realized that they lock the doors earlier than closing time. Last evening, I went to pickup my laundry at 9:55pm when the closing time is listed in several areas as 10pm and the doors were already locked and there is no way to contact this facility as the numbers listed on the internet everywhere are out of service. I did leave a note this morning on my way to work, as I leave earlier than they open in the morning and have not received any call. Extremely frustrating experience and hope that my laundry is still there this evening when I get home. *****just received a call from laundromat and they have put my laundry in my bag for me, this earns them some bonus points****

One day I was too busy to do my own laundry and thought to try drop-off for the first time. Since I didn’t fully trust these places I figured I’d get the whites, underwear and undershirts out of the way. Now, most of them are ruined and the owner would make no effort to make things right. Little black smudges and soapy stains on 70 percent of my shirts is what I got for doing business here. The guy even said there was no pen or anything in the load. No refund. Not willing to do the load again and get the stains out. Nothing. Now I’ve got this bag of stained clothes. And you know what he said right before I walked out? «That’s what you get for 90 cents a pound.» Do yourself a favor and find someone who knows their business and has a sense of customer service.

I hate doing laundry. I hate doing laundry, and I have a lot of clothes which allows me to go a long time without doing laundry. But when the dreaded day does come, it’s a pretty daunting task. I’ve found that using the machines in my building would just plain take too long, and the dryer’s been known to scorch my clothes. After trying a few different laundromats, where I either feared for my health(the Found Sock) or had problems with the actual washing and drying, I’ve fallen into a comfortable routine with the All-Bright Coin-Op Laundry Center. The place is clean, the prices are standard, and most importantly the dryers are huge. I use three washing machines to do all my clothes, and all three loads fit into one dryer. When the clothes come out, they are dry, toasty, but never scorched. The only thing that keeps this laundromat from getting the full five stars is the lack of a change machine. I just don’t keep rolls of quarters on me. Fortunately, during daytime hours the dry cleaners next door has always been happy to make change for me.
