My family of 5 had an awesome dinner this evening. We found it on Unilocal after jumping off the Subway at Prospect Park. The food was excellent. There were many regulars as well as families. What a great place. Also the price and portions were just right.

Yesterday, I hosted a party in the upstairs party room at Da Nonna Rosa and it was perfect! The staff worked closely with us and were honest and fair when we chose the menu. They day of the party, the staff was organized, helpful, and provided excellent service. On top of that, the food was excellent!

Utilizing a offer, struck«gold» by noshing at Da Nonna Rosa in Park Slope. The garçon for the evening was Oliver . I informed Oliver that he was the spitting image of the child actor Mark Lester from the 1968 Musical«Oliver!» I had jumbo gulf shrimp over a bed of spinach and the appetizer was fried calamari, the other dish was fresh grilled salmon in lemon sauce with string beans and carrots. Next stop is Brunch!

Haven’t been in the location but great take out. Although a little too pricey. $ 16FOR A SALAD? gotta be kidding me. Still food taste is excellent.

Just moved to the neighbourhood and am systematically checking out delivery options. Happy to say that Nonna Rosa has great pizza and I’ll definitely order again! The rest of the food, not so much. Tried the breaded veal, too much seasoning for my taste and undercooked(veal should not be pink anywhere!). Mac and cheese had soggy noodles.

The pizza here is very good — the crust is crispy and oily. Perhaps a tad too much on the oil side, but especially on the grandma slice, it’s welcomed. Had a glass of the Chianti wine, as well, and it was poured pretty sloppily(wine all over the bottom and side of the glass), I think it was a fluke. Also had a slice of the pizza with the broccoli rabe, mushrooms and cherry peppers — this is highly recommended! It has a lot of kick, which I really enjoyed. No nonsense in here — typical Italian restaurant. For the quality of food, it’s worth the price you pay. I would definitely come back here, especially for the pizza.

Enjoyable dinner tonight. Started with the tastiest baked Littleneck Clams in a garlic sauce done perfectly to sop up with nice hunks of warm Italian bread! I then moved on to the Chicken Martino recommended by my very attentive and knowledgeable server Chris. It was delicious although the Madiera sauce was slightly on the ‘sweet’ side, Madiera sauces DO vary from dry to sweet so it was not surprising. I topped it off with a massive slice of moist, mouth– watering chocolate cake which I could not finished I was so stuffed… I was led here by a gift card that I did not use because… I’ll be back

Just left this restaurant and i can not stop raving about them, this is exactly how i want to end my night good food and great service. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed with open arms and every server is so nice! At the start of the dinner they serve you water and bread. the garlic bread is delicious! and the other bread is yummy with olive oil. We shared a fried calimari and they give you marinara sauce with it(yum!) it was cooked really well the batter was just enough and it was not too oily or too fried, I ordered the pesto pasta with pappardelle noodles and it was delicious! i even got my sister liking it. if you haven’t tried pappardelle noodles this is the place to try it because its not something that is served everywhere!(its wide flat egg noodles and not every place makes it) it cost $ 2 extra but was worth every penny. My brother in law got the shrimp parm hero as well as an artichoke slice and he really enjoyed both of them and i forgot the name of the dish that my sister got, it was on their entrée section… veal with mushroom and tomato in a red sauce that had wine in it(forgive me i couldn’t remember the name of the dish). I came here based on the recommendation of my sister and she found out about this place cause she walks by it every week and there happened to be a groupon deal for this place. At the start of the dinner a waiter accidentally dropped dishes near us and it barely touched us(just made us jump a bit) but everybody came around to make sure we were okay and to apologize and i was really touched by how wonderful everyone was even though we assured them that we were fine, its nice to know that they genuinely care! They have a variety of pies and specialty pizza, a good selection of appetizers(i even noticed you have an option of creating your own sampler for $ 17($ 19) which is a really good deal since one appetizers cost about $ 12. At the end of our dinner they gave us chocolate cannoli and OHMYGOD it was sooo good, from the cream to the shell it looked like a birthday cake especially since they decorated with whipped cream and chocolate syrup(PERFECTION!) I would definitely come back here just for the service alone, its top notch! I highly recommend this place! Service: 5 star! Food 5 star! Dessert 5 star!

Food delivered late. The bag and the food inside looked like it had been through hell. Ripped. Wrinkled. It had definitely been opened and closed a few dozen times. Food was cold. Had the feeling it had been delivered somewhere else first and then picked back up and delivered to me.(Could be paranoid) Their food is good but the delivery ruined it. AND suddenly they don’t have the 3 Nonna Rosa meatballs?

Nonna Rossa is one of the last authentic family spots. Really warm Italian hospitality. One time when my husband and I sat at the bar they chatted us up, kept filling up our sodas, and just made us feel like we were sitting at home in our kitchen. Their food is consistently delicious. The pastas, salads, and entrees I’ve tried have all been fresh and flavorful. The Arrabbiata Pizza OUTOFTHISWORLD. I love this place.

The food was terrific, but I felt as if I was in an episode of «Impractical Jokers» where they are running through the store calling«HEYLARRY» aimlessly. The staff seemed as if they were on speed or something. There was absolutely no dialogue with the waitress. Not to say she was rude… that wasn’t the case at all… They need to be more attentive to their guests that are seated as oppose to the ones waiting… the impression was, they are rushing to get people seated, fed and moved out too quickly. Work on the dining experience a little more and you’ll get 5 stars constantly. Overall, the food was pretty good! The experience was not too good…

Terrible delivery. I’m still waiting for my dessert that they forgot when they delivered our dinner over an hour ago. Called twice; was told it’s out for delivery. Awful: Worst place in the neighborhood. Call Table 87 instead, or go across the street to Numero 28. Update-Despite being told twice that my dessert was on it’s way to my house(2 blocks away) it never arrived. And now they are closed for the night.

SPECTACULAROHMY! This place was so damn good. Ordered Bruschetta and it was really flavorful, then the Alla Rosa. Yes Italian Gods, for this fantastic place. Best way to describe it is a BLASTOFFLAVOR in your mouth.

Love ordering here for lunch! Yummy penne a la vodka and super good garlic bread. The lemon lime salad is tasty. And the stuffed mushrooms are delish! Probably one of my top favorite places to eat for lunch. Must try!!!

I ordered the personal 10″ pizza for $ 8. I added onions($ 2.50) and meatballs($ 2.50). The delivery amount on seamless is $ 12. The delivery service took 5 minutes longer than they said but it’s a very rainy night and two days before the holidays, I understand the wait. The pizza has great sauce, cheese, the onions and meatballs toppings were fantastic. The crust was a little soggy underneath, however, which made for a less-than-ideal experience. Any other day or in-house, I think this pizza would be fantastic but honestly the soft crust was disappointing. I’ll probably try them again at a later date and hopefully the service/food will be a little stronger.

Where do I start? My group started with appetizers — Caesar Salad and these amazing little rice balls. A perfect serving for three to share. The marinara dipping sauce is out of this world. The entrees are equally impressive. It’s a fasting season, so we didn’t get to sample the fish and meat dishes, but the gnocchi — made fresh in house — and other dishes were perfectly prepared and in generous proportions.(We’re working on the desserts right now, so stay tuned.) It’s a family-run place now and the staff is very courteous and attentive. A great place to come with a group of any size. Great job guys!

OMGGAMAZINGAMAZINGAMAZING! We came here because we saw there was a groupon and we decided to give it a shot after reading the good Unilocal reviews. We came in on a Monday afternoon around 130 and there was a decent amount of people in there. We went to the back and were seated in a nice booth and served warm bread and waters right away. The menu is huge, but not overwhelming, everything sounds so good so it’s so hard to choose what to get. As an appetizer we got the margarita pie and an order it the arancini rice balls, which came as an order of 5. The pizza had such great flavor and so did the rice balls. I’m a rice ball freak and I definitely appreciate a good rice ball, they’re definitely top notch here. They also make an array of fresh pasta, so for entrees we got the cavatelli campagnola, and the cavatelli is one of the pastas they make fresh. I got grilled chicken and steamed vegetables as my entrée. We both really enjoyed our food. The service was great, and all staff we communicated with were very friendly. I will 100% be back here very soon!

Great pizza and nice staff! Their slices are big and taste very good. I’ve tried a couple of different pizzerias in Park Slope and Da Nonna’s so far is my favorite. Their plain, pepperoni, and mushroom are all delicious. I’m sad, however, that delivery to my area is super expensive :(and I am not able to get this pizza as frequently as I would like. Then again it might be for the best because I’d probably be ordering pies every weekend and then blow up like there’s no tomorrow. Not a good look when you’re training for upcoming races!
