Im not the type to eat at Kosher restaurants but this was one of the best places ive gone to eat before. I was lucky to go on a thursday night when the front servers served a jewish delicacy known as Barley Chulent. It was a very new and pleasing experience, to see the community and culture get together on such a busy and packed restaurant night, and the employees care to the customers needs. The help really cleans whenever needed to and helps the customers when asked. Make sure to see them thursday evenings on their busiest night.

I enjoy the chulent, kugel, and kishke specials here, and I am partial to those sorts of dishes. The Chinese dishes aren’t very good and are not to my liking. The hot dinners are not bad; I like brisket with mashed potatoes and noodles and cabbage, which are well caramelized and sweet. It could be, however, that they don’t offer noodles and cabbage anywhere, which would be a shame. I generally come Thursday night for the various specials I mentioned; I like the super special, which is a gut-​busting, belly-​filling, soul-​satisfying dinner of chulent, kishka, potato kugel, and sesame chicken. I get two meals out of it, and I like adding ketchup and barbecue sauce to the chulent, as I do to almost all chulents I eat. If you’re lucky, maybe you can get them to swap the kugel for yapchik, for a nominal charge, which is what I do. Yapchik is overnight, fluffy, oily potato goodness, like a kugel, only with tender beef or pastrami added. It’s worth it. You can diet the other days of the week. Also, the jachnoon is a great addition to the chulent dinner, a rich, sweet, oily rolled pancake, dense and delicious when sliced and used to sop up the chulent. Get the liver, too, while you’re there. Sauteed is my preferred version, although if they have a combo container of chopped and sauteed liver, get that, and you’ve got a feast. If I’m ever alone for shabbos, I often buy foods here and it makes for a true shabbos delight.

This place is the bomb. I always opt for the Thursday night special — one piece of kishka, overnight potato kugel, ½ lb. of sesame chicken, 1 lb. chulent. Comes out to $ 16 and change. I’ve tried chulent everywhere and this place makes better chulent than my mother!
The food is hands down the best! Service is okay, but I don’t mind since I mostly order to go. If you’re sitting down, it can get loud, and is always hot. Parking is eh. Rarely, and I mean ¹⁄₁₀ times, the special doesn’t taste right — hard chicken, non meaty chulent, cold potato kugel. C’maaan! You expect me to eat that? But it really doesn’t bother me because the great food outweighs the few bad experiences.
If you’re buying the chulent special for two people order another ½ pound pf sesame chicken. Doing so, you’ll get 1 pound of sesame chicken, 1 large piece pf potato kugel, one piece of either spicy or regular kishka, and 1 pound of chulent.
I ask usually ask them to put sesames on the sesame chicken (ironically it doesn’t cone with it). I also get kugel from the middle. Try ordering on the ohone because this place gets busy in spurts, especially on Thursdays.

Have been here a few times, as it’s close to my house. The counter staff is always really, really rude, barely looking up from their phones, not bothering to hand you back change or a receipt.
The food is pretty good, but the prices are high and portions are small. The service is the deal breaker for me, though: I don’t want to give my business to a store that’s not interested in acknowledging it.
