So I had heard the people were nasty and you would have to wait hours when you arrive. I was concerned but this is where my doctor sent me, they took my insurance and I didn’t have time to start looking for another place.
Initially when I called, the person who answered (Trini) was definitely not cordial, not only did she place me on hold for 10 min literally but twice she cut me off in mid sentence in order to place me on hold. However I will give her credit that once I addressed it to her she apologized and from that point forward was pretty cordial and helpful.
I arrived prepared to wait! I had a 12:20 appointment and got called a little after 2. Though that was an hour and a half wait it was better than the 4 hour wait I had geared myself up for.
The receptionists I dealt with were nice and pretty professional and the tech who did my Cat scan was very kind and encouraging and made me feel comfortable.
I can’t vouch for this place as far as how long they make people wait or even whether or not everyone is to the professional level that they should be. But personally despite my hour and a half long wait, I can’t say I had the worst experience and I will prob come back. It got the job done.

Came as a walk-​in. Hopefully last time I ever come here because seems like no one is competent here. When I first walked in, the front desk seemed very nice and helpful. Even warned me the wait time would be dreadful but I had no choice but to get this exam done today. Anyways, as I am patiently waiting, they ask for me (last name) — this place doesn’t seem to address you by your first since there are many «Smiths» for example and said they don’t have my insurance card when they should have looked and photocopied it the first time around. Same with my ID. They made me lose my seat twice, since it is packed. The girl did not apologize or anything. They are stupid here seriously. If they lost a copy of my insurance info and ID, imagine them losing the paper I filled out with my SSN number and accusing me of losing it when it wouldn’t make sense to fill out in the first place. They don’t seem professional enough if they can lose or misplace important information like this. Doesn’t seem they want to examine ppl at all. Probably ppl went ahead of me too for this BS!

Well I decided to give this place a second try after they were taken over by Lenox Hill. What a disappointment. After scheduling an appointment for 5:30 PM for an ultrasound at 6:45 PM I was yet to be seen. I have been to other «labs» and radiology establishments but this is one of the worse. On my last visit, after sitting for over an hour I was told that I could not have a mammogram because my referral was more than 3 months old. After stating my case, they conducted the mammogram. Can’t help but believe that the lack of efficiency and care is due to the fact that most of the clients are of a particular race/​socioeconomic group. Needless to say, this would not happen on the upper west side. Very dissapointed in Lenox Hill. I thought that they were better than this. If I could I’d give this place no stars.

Incredibly long wait time. Came in for a 12:30 appointment and showed up on time. 2 hours later I’m still waiting… Will never use them again. And oh, the loud TVs with the stupid shows are just torture.
Update: it’s now been 3 hours waiting… for an ultrasound. Went to the Manager to speed things up. We’ll see…

Yes, they lost all my papework, too! TWICE. My doctor had to send two faxes, the first they claimed they never got and also LIED and said they didn’t speak to my doctor at all when they 100% did.
The wait is long and they BLARE day time TV on all of the computers. I’m very ill and would prefer peace and quiet as I’m sure most of the tired souls here would. Wendy Williams going «woot woot» isn’t quite the calming environment I would hope to expect for ppl waiting to find out about life-​threatening issues. The staff is friendly… toward each other! Don’t ask any questions, because they couldn’t find an answer if your life depended on-​oh, wait…
If you have another option, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, TAKE IT!!! If you don’t, I’ll probably still be waiting for my MRI by the time you get here.

I had a 12 pm appointment & wasn’t seen until 12:45. The appointment itself took 5 minutes.

This place is such a sh*thole. Ask you to fill in the same information they photographed multiple times on the same form. Even what they have on the tv is ghetto. Being here is just depressing and I’m wondering what I did wrong in a prior life to have to be sitting here in purgatory waiting for my appointment — having to wait 1.5hrs this time and not even inside yet and 45 min last time. Ridiculous

I received a referral from my doctor to come here. Everything is horribly wrong with this place. There’s no organization at the front desk when you register. I basically sat here forever watching people who came after me leave before me. The woman did not take my insurance card, then some guy had the audacity to ask me how was I going to pay for my x Ray. Uhhhhhhh I have insurance! Duhhh. Avoid this

Great if you like to wait for 1 ½ hours to be seen while watching the staff text and loudly joke around with one another while you sit there. Waiting. For an hour and 30 min.

If you can, avoid this location at all cost. I had an appointment for an MRI and xrays and waited 3hrs and only had my xrays done. Believe me when I say, the customer service here is absolutely terrible. I thought it would have been better because it is in a high traffic area but BOY OH BOY WAS I WRONG! I waited over an hr for my xrays. Keep in mind that the xrays are walk in. I actually had an appointment for my MRI and had to wait over an hour for that AFTER my wait to my xray was done. I was very patient, although annoyed, and when the 3hr mark came, I asked for an update. Like um hello?! So I went to the front desk to ask when my time would come and I was told by one worker that the wait is 45 minutes to an hour. Ok, so I have been waiting for OVER an hour. I told them I had the xray first and I’m still waiting for my MRI. «Well xrays are walk in.» Ok so my MRI appintment was 3hrs ago. I wanted an explanation but wasn’t given a valid one. Then I was told, «oh one machine went down.» Ok so when would you let anyone know that supposedly the machine went down?! I went to leave and a supervisor came and apologized and said I can come back later on. I call later on and was told to come back another day bc it was super busy. The one good thing is that the supervisor did out me in transportation to get to my other appointment. Prob a write off but a good gesture.
You can’t have people waiting hours and hours. Clearly people are here to get important test done. People are in pain, sitting here for long hours because people aren’t doing what they’re supposed to do to get people in and out. I like writing good reviews but I had to write this one bc I don’t want people to go through the same things I went through. I didn’t even write everything.

I read through all these reviews and was really worried about having a long wait my appt today. I think the trick is to be the first appt of the day. Mine was at 7:30am, although the hours on the door say 8am-​8pm? I got there at 7, before the staff even.
The girl that checked me in was def a little rough around the edges, but nice in her own «sorry for dropping the F-​bomb» kind of way. My mind immediately said, make friends and don’t piss this person off-​she controls your destiny.
My paperwork was missing so I think its true the place is a little disorganized. As the first appt, I still waited until 7:50am to be seen.
The MRI technician was incredibly nice and very professional. No complaints there. The space is also huge, clean and beautiful.
Just try to book as their earliest appointment.

If hell exists, this is my version. Doshi Diagnostic far surpasses the DMV in frustrating wait time and poor customer service. The attendants behind the desk and rude beyond words, while they listen to lil Wayne on the computer speakers and drop f-​bombs in conversations amongst themselves. As I presently sit in the DD waiting room, I have to weigh the pros and cons of this xray and wonder if it’s worth it.

Came in for a test and end up taking an extra two hours after my appointment time before they brought me back. The receptionist did not speak English fluently, and they claimed not to have received my referral even though they had it the whole time. Also screwed up my insurance and tried to overcharge my co pay.

I have waiting patiently in hopes I could give a better review but unfortunately this isn’t the case. My MD sent me for several test two weeks ago upon arrival I approached the front desk a young women with braces addressed me but never lifted her head to acknowledge my presence (strike 1). When I presented my cards she then (without looking up) took them and handed the off yo someone else. I am a healthcare professional so this is an unbiased observation… DO assign someone to the front desk if they can’t perform the simple task of greeting someone.
The technicians were very pleasurable which is the ONLY reason for the one star. After leaving I asked the front desk (this time a different female) if I needed to sign a release for another doctor to obtain my records. She couldn’t answer that simple question (strike 2).
Four days later my doctors office made several calls for my reports and was told it wasn’t ready; finally after numerous calls they only received 2 of the 3 studies ordered. The end of the week I get a call from them stating they «made an error» and needed me to come back in to redo my test. The guy on the phone apologized and stated they would accommodate me quickly and have my results read immediately since it was their fault.
Here we are 2 weeks later I still don’t have results after my doctors office called twice for my reports. Only to be told it wasn’t ready yet. The shear lack of professionalism and tact fullness of this establishment amazes me. When someone needs results regarding their health a sense of urgency should, promptness and professionalism should be expected. I will never return to this place and advise others not to patronize this establishment as well.
Coming from a healthcare system where we too have made mistakes but take full accountability and give impeccable professionalism to give the patient the best experience, levels me disappointed and appalled.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. They took six months to send me a bill, for which I promptly sent payment. They did not process the payment, and two weeks later, sent me a collections notice. The phone number on the notice was out of service, so I have no way to contact them.
This isn’t to mention that it was a NINETY MINUTE WAIT on the day of my service, even though I had a scheduled appointment. DON’T GO TO DOSHI.

The bad reviews made me skeptical but I had a great experience here. I came to get X-​rays and although the wait was a bit it wasn’t too long. The specialists were very nice and even gave me copies upon request on the spot. I recommend this location for X-​rays.

You do have to wait for a while because they are taking «walk-​ins». As much as I hate to wait, I have to say that they are always trying to accommodate you and everybody is polite.

I have been here twice and waited 3+ hours both times even though I had an appt and was early! I recommend going somewhere else if you have a choice.

The worst. I have been waiting two hours for an appointment. If you have another choice go somewhere else

Worst experience at a medical clinic ever! After showing up 30 minutes early to my 3:00 appointment, I was passed along to two different waiting rooms and then subsequently told that my wait time would be an additional 1 – 1.5 hours after the waiting room shuffles.
Fast forward 5.5 hours and the front doors are being closed and majority of the staff has departed, and I am just getting placed into the MRI procedure.
In essence, it should not take 6.5 hours to get an MRI. If you have a choice, avoid this firm at all costs! I would give it a ½ star if that was possible.
