Europa Pizzeria

I am so lucky because I live really close to Europa. This is hands down my FAVORITE pizzeria. The pizza is so so so fresh and every time I order I literally eat half a pie. I prefer Europa over anyyyyyyyy pizzeria. I am never disappointed and I actually order for pick up a lot! So yummy!!!

In my opinion it’s the best italian pizza in Brooklyn… the brick oven pizza, the quality of the ingredients and the art of the pizza guys are from another world. The atmosphere is excellent… people feel at home… and you always walk out with a smile… the best way to feel like your in Italy without spending money for an expensive plane ticket!

Best pizza in Brooklyn, hands down. Been to all the main players as a Brooklyn native. Whenever I have family from Italy come visit, I always bring them to Europa for pizza.
Great calzones also. Authentic wood burning oven is what makes it the best.

Staff was very unorganized… Mother’s Day fixed menu was a bust. I ordered chicken parm and they couldnt accomdate me by serving a side of rigatoni instead of mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes. I dont know who eats parm without pasta… highly disappointed. wont be dining here again

Horrible service, and forgetful of orders. Really disappointed the service was never like this and I regret to share I will not be coming here again anytime soon; not will I be recommending this place in a good manner.

I’m extremely disappointed with the food. I came here specifically for shrimp parmesan and garlic bread. Once I placed my order the server came back to tell me that they didn’t have any available. What type of Italian restaurant doesn’t have garlic bread or shrimp parmesan!!! To add insult to injury I ordered baked clams and I literally had to spit it out my mouth because it was raw. I did order the lobster bisque that was good. None the less I will NOT be returning to this establishment. I almost threw up in my mouth.

My family and I came to Europa for Palm Sunday dinner, and it was great as always. We made a 530 reservation for 6 and were able to sit as soon as we arrived. Our server came to the table gave us some menus and brought over waters. The menu is a great with so many different options, as well as a specials menu they usually have. We ordered a bottle of merlot and a pizza and calamari as an appetizer. The pizza at Europa is delicious, I enjoy the traditional margarita pie, but they also offer many speciality pies which are also delicious. As an entrée I got the pasta fagiole soup which was outrageous. My boyfriend got the gnocchi pasta which was from the special menu and he really enjoyed it. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees, I tasted the vodka sauce which was good, and the pasta was cooked to perfection.
We all got cappuccinos/​espressos at dessert as well ask some tartuffos and the orange sherbet. The sherbet is served in a hollowed out orange which I thought was really cute, and it tasted great and was really refreshing.
Our server was really nice and helpful, the service is always an important part of dinning experiences and at Europa they hit the mark. All the food was delicious and for the prices you can’t beat it. I can’t wait to go back.

Excellent pizza selection, cooked food and dessert. However it’s a bit on pricy side but never the less it’s the best Italian place in the Bensonhurst neighborhood. I live near by and really love this place! Everyone should give this place a try, won’t be disappointed !

My husband and I went to Europa with another couple friends of ours who came from Watertown to visit. We had brick oven pizza with fresh basil & fresh mozzarella. We all enjoyed every bite of this pie. The waitress was very friendly and made sure everything was ok. Thanks Europa and staff. We had a nice cozy time eating your delicious brick oven pizza. To our waitress «Thank you» for your kind service.

Ehh, didn’t love it. This place was recommended but it was full of disappointments. The dough wasn’t cooked well enough and was very wet. The flavor wasn’t up to par to what you think of in a brick oven pizza or any other pizza for that matter. The service was super slow for simple things, but the pizza arrived in about 10 minutes (probably why it wasn’t cooked well). Definitely would not go back.

Nice spot with really GOOD brick oven pizza! Try the cognac ravioli. My favorite dish there!

Pizza is good here but the food is mediocre. I have ordered the seafood salad and it was bitter and sour with no taste, and I just ordered the Christmas Eve shrimp stuffed with lobster meat for $ 28 and it was also kinda gross. There were 4 shrimp and no lobster texture in the paste that’s supposed to be lobster meat. The mixed vegetable was good but it’s definitely not worth $ 28.

Europa has came a long way since i was a little girl. It used to be just a bakery w fancy cakes. Great cakes tho. Then they added the dine in restaurant w brick oven pizza and many italian dishes. Ive dined here 2x, very little only becos the first time i ate here the pasta was only okay. Then recently my sister and her friend tried their pizza, they brought leftovers home and i was surprised that the pizza was from europa. So i gave it another try recently and had their pizza and pasta. Everything was so so good. The pasta sauce was a little on the saltier side but not a big deal since i was drinkin soda. Their pizzas are so good, even when taken to go. We brought leftovers home and my mom devoured it. Customer service was pretty good – no complaints really. Will definitely come back for more food!

Unfortunately, not a good visit to Europa. My dad treated my family and sister’s family to dinner to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. My wife and I shared a $ 46 seafood entrée that was over cooked and dried out. My Mom’s salmon was the same.
The service was totally unacceptable. The waitress was never around. We constantly needs to get up to go find her to give our order, get water and even get the check. There was certainly not enough coverage for the two parts of the restaurant. Waitress was running around just rudely dropping things on the table.
Parts of restaurant should not be used as storage for children’s toys.
This used to be a good place but the care is certainly not there anymore. Too expensive to this type of treatment.
Will not go again.

Staff is always very nice. I live around the way and have been here a few times with no disappointment.
Only thing is i have yet to try anything other then the pizza everything else seems completely over priced. Maybe one day. for not yay for pizza that’s not full of grease.

We ordered two different pizzas (number 19 and 23) both were very good. The calamari is excellent as well. Very nice atmosphere!

Everything is good, but dear god the steak is to die for. If I were on death row I’d probably ask for their steak.

As the number of good solid Italian places has dwindled in the neighborhood over the years, I’m happy to say there is Europa! while parking here may not be much of a joy, everything else will be. Place is nicely done inside and the service has always been friendly and accommodating. This has become our go to spot when visiting my parents and we have had many of the items on the menu and enjoyed all of them. The pizza is very good. Last visit I had the linguini with seafood. I asked for fra diavolo sauce instead of the marinara and it was no problem. Very tasty! Nothing like a solid Italian meal served by real Italians!!!

Been to this restaurant a couple times. This is a good Italian restaurant in this area but there are not much quality restaurants to choose from. We have only sat in their first dining area and have not been to their second room before. The booth seats are big, comfortable and roomy. On this visit we had the Caesar salad and the Margherita pizza. The Caesar salad had dressing that was light and not too creamy and shaved parmesan cheese. We had the medium margherita and it was pretty big. very delicious and fresh. It was more than enough food for 2 people. Service was good and prompt.
