Very good. Peanut sauce noodle is very fresh though the sauce is very thin. But still tasty. The pork dumpling soup I really enjoyed though my wife felt it tasted fatty. Only negative is the wait seems a bit long. Then again it’s 10am and they are making everything fresh. Overall highly recommended!

Son, «Hey Dad, where did these huge and delicious fish balls come from?» Dad,” Umm… Oh, probably from the frozen section of the supermarket. That is where all our food comes from.“ Daughter, «No dad, these fish balls are from Gourmet Maylin on 61 St. and 7th Ave. Brooklyn. They are home-made and fresh not frozen.» Dad ‚“How can that be? There is nothing at that corner except a lumber yard and a tile store? Must be new.“ Daughter, «Dad, it’s one of those basic Mom & Pop store that make fresh food; here they make fish balls, wontons and fresh fish strips. I saw all the fishes being washed, chopped, grounded up and cooked! It is really cool.» Dad,” Hey, you are pretty smart, you must take after me.“ Daughter, «Urh… another fishball Dad?» — — – Just the facts– I found this place today while chasing a food cart recommended from Wing L. I missed the food cart on 8th Ave. and 61 St. but on the way back to the car I noticed this place. It was painful but humorous trying to order. There is no menu in English and my ability to read Chinese is extremely limited and the chef did not speak Cantonese but the wife who was eating lunch spoke Cantonese and translated. Even her 3-year-old son who know English try to help. So I blindly ordered the #1& #3 and hope for the best. That was the fun and exciting part being a Unilocaler; extreme bravery or foolishness. While they were cooking my order, I watch the chef cook up fresh fish strips in a large wok and the workers unpacking fishes into the sink for clean and chopping. The fishballs(#1 at $ 3) are very good in light broth. The shrimp & fish wonton(#3 at $ 3) was all very good in light broth also. I will definitely come back to try the other stuff when I get their menu translated!
