Great selection and — even more important — got an excellent, quick recommendation for a cute gift. Was in and out in 10 minutes flat, and am really pleased with my purchase.

My daughter had just had an awful dental experience, and I’d promised a few Beanie Boos to get her through it. We arrived at the store at 6:31 to find the door locked (closed at 6:30)! I thought I wasn’t going to be able to keep my promise. I knocked on the door, and the owner was still in the back. He graciously let us in to buy the promised toys. Lifesaver!

I was really surprised by the reviews pertaining to helpful staff here. I went in this past Sunday and the girls at the register didn’t even look up when I walked in to buy a gift, which is unfortunate because as someone who is unfamiliar with what kids are into these days, I could have used a hand with my selection. Wouldn’t have minded paying the marked up prices either if someone had simply uttered a «hello.» That being said, there was a pretty decent selection of items and is probably good if you’re in a pinch.

This is a one of a kind store, very helpful staff, great selection and carries unique, somewhat rare and beautiful items. Located in a beautiful area, we’ll definitely be going back. They carry all sorts of kids stuff, educational items and toys, and best of all they sell and service strollers. Thanks for the great experience!

I brought my Maclaren Stroller in for a Rear Brake Assembly Repair/​Replacement because the Soho location had closed and this is the only Authorized Repair Center within a reasonable distance (but still took me an hour to get there from Harlem). I had emailed and called ahead of time to get info on the repair but it still took me a few weeks to eventually get out there but the Owner was very accommodating, considering I came late in the day and where we traveled from. He indeed was able to fix it that day. We were lucky that his schedule could accommodate the repair or else I would have had to make the trip back (which I was not crazy about doing). A few hours exploring about and going to the Kids Museum and I rec’d a call from the owner that the stroller was ready. My Wife and I are very grateful for their service and the young woman who was clerking and so patient with my daughter as she perused all the great toys in the store. They have a great selection by the by.

This is a great store to have in the neighborhood — the staff is SO helpful and knowledgeable without ever being pushy. Some items are more expensive than ordering online which is to be expected, but many are roughly the same. They have a very good selection of feeding and nursing supplies as well as toys, some books, and Zutano clothing. I know my son will be psyched to spend time there once he’s old enough to appreciate the toy store experience.

If you are not concerned at all with prices, this is your best option in Brooklyn Heights for fulfilling your kids’ every want and «need.» This is the type of toy store that also carries strollers and other helpful child rearing materials and accessories, but for those of us who have kids and still like to play with toys… I mean get our children toys that are both smart, inventive and educational, this is a great place to go.
It is not a huge store, but what they have is impressive. Great selections of Playmobil, Lego and Thomas the Train to get your kids’ minds as excited as their hands, as well as countless other parent-​approved toys.
The prices are more expensive here than ordering from Amazon or Target most of the time, but if you live in the neighborhood or like actually looking at what you are going to buy, you really can not beat this place in Brooklyn Heights or close by. If you need to get a gift for a child and don’t want to make a mistake, come here, you should be all set.
