Highlawn was recommended to me by a friend for a move within Manhattan. I was very satisfied with the excellent service I received, both by the sales and administrative staff, and by the men in the day. The packaging was carried out with care, loading and unloading was prompt. I will have no hesitation to contact them again for future moves.

These guys are a DISGRACE to humanity. I live in the building where they were moving someone in. I woke up this morning to an ambulance blaring their sirens because these movers were blocking the entire road. This is a small building so it should have been quite obvious by the noise that they were blocking an ambulance. This went on for about 7 minutes until two movers finally stepped out of the building. Was there any sort of urgency? No. They slowly walked around the truck to visually confirm that the ambulance could not get through. Everything was in slow motion. They slowly closed the truck doors. They slowly got in the truck. And finally, after getting nice and comfortable inside the truck they started it up. By this time pedestrians were starting to gather and even yell at these guys to just move. NOSENSEOFURGENCY. Then instead of just driving around the block getting completely out of the way they tried to just move closer to the parked cars, with multiple failed attempts to get out of the way. The point being is this whole process took a long time. When they could have easily just let the ambulance through. To me it is disturbing that these jokers took all the time in the world with no sense of urgency to move out of the way. What if it was their Mom or Dad in the back of that ambulance. I hope they didn’t get any tips. What an embarrassment to this company.
