I received a great piece of artwork that was framed here. The frame and mat are exactly right, cut and assembled with precision — they enhance the art perfectly. I was really impressed by the work done on the back of the piece, which, face it, no one ever sees except the owner before hanging the painting on the wall. The backing paper is perfectly flat and evenly cut to meet the edges. The wire for hanging is sturdily installed, no problems there. At the bottom corners there are two plastic discs so the frame doesn’t scratch the wall. And three stickers are attached to the back. One shows the logo of the shop. The second is a business card for Peter (PMS), the artist who works here and who framed this piece. And a third gives tips for cleaning the glass. How cool is that.
Fine, careful work like this is missing at many frame stores today. Bring your art work to Jubilee for terrific, careful framing.

I stumbled across Jubilee gallery when I was looking to have a large antique poster framed. Boy, am I happy I did! Peter and Stephen were not only helpful and friendly, they did an excellent job and worked within my budget. I really cannot recommend Jubilee enough, my piece looks gorgeous.

I brought 4 items of various sizes to be framed. I was more than thrilled with the outcome when I picked them up. In fact I brought two more items in and when I pick those up I will bring two more in!
The atmosphere is right out of central casting which totally adds to the flavor of the framing experience .i def recommend this place for your fine art and photo or whatever you want custom framed !!!

Really terrific experience with Jubilee. They turned my project around quickly and with expert care at a very reasonable price, particularly considering most frame shops had quoted me much higher for the job. The guys were friendly, helpful, enthusiastic problem-​solvers, and very accommodating. We were very happy with the job and will definitely be back.

My husband and I had such an incredibly positive experience here that the least we can do is add a great review so other people know where to go for really great service, reasonable prices, and truly professional work. We felt like Peter, the man who helped us, was genuinely interested in what we brought in, in making sure the work was done right, and in making sure we were happy with it. We are! And whether we have real art to frame or just a family photo that needs to be mounted, we won’t ever go anywhere else!

They did an amazing job. Owner Stephen deFluiiter did an excellent job helping me choose different frames and insets for all three paintings, guiding me helpfully to what we both thought would work best for each. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the work and managed to have all three done in a timely manner as I wanted to hang them mid December and only walked in just before Thanksgiving. I just picked them up — by which I mean his wonderful assistant Peter walked them to my house as I realized they were much larger framed than I remembered as they had been in a tube when I brought them in and they look FANTASTIC. The work they did is really amazing and I would absolutely take anything that needed to be framed to these wonderful professionals. the owner has been in business for over 35 years and seeing the gorgeous results of his work I can easily see why. Framing is not inexpensive, but good framing can make a piece look exceptional, and each of the three of the very different paintings got individual treatment and all came out looking sensational. Cannot say enough about my experience there.

Just picked up three lovely bargain-​priced frames at Jubilee Gallery as part of their 40^th anniversary sale. I always enjoy going in and talking to Stephen and looking at the gorgeous art on the walls here. He’s got some real gems, original paintings by artists with genuine talent. If you like traditional paintings, this is a far better selection than any others you’ll find nearby. Just recently he’s affixed prices to them so it’s easy to see what’s affordable.

I have been bringing things to Steve and now Peter for 8 years, since first moving to Brooklyn, and have never been disappointed. I trust advice on colors and frame choice and I always love what we pick out together. He has framed countless wedding invites for me as gifts in so many different styles, repaired/​replaced frames on original art, and even my daughter’s art.

Something a lot of people don’t know about framing – it’s pretty much always going to be more expensive than the art was in the first place. Most of my art is from comic artists I love, or fine artists I know personally.
The problem is, I really need my art framed in such a way that I know I’m not going to need to re-​do it in five years.
Enter these guys. I go out of my way to visit Brooklyn Heights because of these guys. Steve, the gentle-​giant who owns the shop, knows what he’s talking about, and I found out that everything is framed with archival materials. Let me repeat that– you get museum quality supplies here. Steve always works with me to get the frame I need, and I feel I’ve gotten a completely custom job here every time. AND they’re friendly here. It goes a long way!
For reference, I’ve gotten everything from a simple metal poster frame here, to floating artworks with UV-​protected glass.
