I have been going to penny bridge for a long time now. Great selection of cigars, great sandwiches. It’s open 24 hours which makes it very convenient.

Penny Bridge is an old-fashioned NYC bodega that has been cleaned up and stocked with Pop Chips to suit its gentrified surroundings. It’s open 24⁄7 and has an extensive selection of candy and beverages. Unfortunately, the one beverage that they don’t sell is beer…

A very solid little corner store. If they don’t have something they’ll do there best to get it the same day or even in a few hours. I think they are open 24 hours as well. They don’t sell beer however but otherwise than that have a good selection of cigars.

Typical for a corner store to get passed up. I don’t know what I’d do without Penny Bridge. It has everything you want and need from a corner store from milk to toilet paper. I even once bought a single band aid from them after slicing my finger up outside my place! The service is fast and friendly and it is great to still have this store going strong. It has to be one of the oldest businesses in the Brooklyn Heights area still around, a long with Fascati’s Pizzeria on Henry, Clark’s Diner across the corner, and Mr. Video down the block on Clark. More people should give props to this place here on the Unilocal world. Without this corner store, there would be a lot of frustrating times when you needed to but couldn’t pick up those nicks and knacks.
