ETA: I have to be honest. Once the food arrived(see below) it was delicious. I called back and complained about the delivery to Ashley. She put me on right away to Akeema the manager who was incredibly gracious. She was very accommodating and did what was necessary to make it right. They were short staffed and had an understandable explanation. I’m also adding 3 stars because the food really is good. — — — — Original Post: I’d love to say how their food tastes. But since they’re over an hour past their delivery time, I can only comment on their customer service. Which unfortunately SUCKS. Food was supposed to be here over an hour ago. When I call to ask(because no one called to let me know there would be a serious delay), I was told the delivery would be here in 15 minutes… and that Ashley would call back to make sure I got it. Guess what… still waiting. Oh and still hungry. But since my food is already paid for now I have to deal w/the hassle of getting my money back — and finding someplace else to order from. #neveragain

Korean and Tacos?! What a time to be alive. Got the 3 for $ 10 tacos. 2 Tofu and 1KBBQ Short rib. The tofu isnt exactly just Tofu. Its a tofu fafel, which is sooo delicious! Cripsy and full of texture. KBBQ short rib has a sweet and savory taste to it, delish as well! Got the large Kimchi fries as well. Shared it among two other friends and we struggled finishing our plate. I recommend getting the small fries to share if you’re eating three tacos. Tacos are on the smaller realm though. Shoutout to Racquel(i hope i spelled her name correctly). She was so sweet and patient with my indecisiveness.

I want there to order the Vietnamese wing. Could not believe the the staff, including the chef did not know what was in the sauce. I also asked not to put peanuts in a second dish I ordered. The confirmed it again when I paid. However, we I got home peanuts were in the disk.

This place is really yummy. The pomegranate taco is great. It’s always a great go to place in the neighborhood. Another plus is that their counter workers are really great, they are always SO nice and thorough.

Disclaimer: Likely a one-off experience. Got this delivery. I’m right here in Fort Greene, and it took about an hour to get to me. No worries – it was super cold yesterday and the snow flurries might’ve affected travel. The tacos were solid, but I’ve gotta be honest, they were cold. I think they’d been ready for a while before being scooped to go out the door. All the ingredients were tasty, but the tortillas were a little soggy. I’ll have to check this place out in-person next time. I’ll update the review with that experience.

Kimchi Grill single-handedly converted my sister to a Korean food lover. I have been an advocate for years, but she was skeptical until we had delivery of a seared pork bowl, three tacos(fish, chicken and pomegranate) and the Mexican soup. It was all delicious — we are sure the tacos were more flavorful and tasty than the vast majority of traditional Mexican tacos. Anyways, this is an awesome restaurant for easy, reasonable and healthy food. At least delivered — I don’t know what the brick and mortar experience is yet :)

This place sucks. On all fronts . I ordered from here a little before 4pm today(a Wednesday afternoon) upon calling I asked the chick who takes phone orders if the restaurant delivers to my home … She puts my address in their system and says we can proceed. I place my order confirm my address and phone number … I’m told my food should arrive within an hour OR less. 57 mins after I place my order I call to check the status, the service rep informs that my delivery is en route. Literally 3 mins later another woman(shift supervisor I assume) calls back to tell me I’m out of their delivery range. ??? Mind you I live 1 mile away from the location and I’ve already waited an hour. I’m beyond annoyed. I wait on hold for another 10 mins, the supervisor comes back to tell me the food is en route, once again. I ask how long before our conversation had my food been waiting in limbo .She assures me it had just been made. Now more than TWO hours later, I receive my entrée MINUS the TWO sides of guacamole I paid extra for and it of course is luke warm and over cooked. Truly a disappointment considering all the rave reviews that lead me to order here in the 1st place . Get your act together Kimchi.

MexiKorean Fusion? No clue. All I know is that this food was BOMBBBB! The veggie Kimchi Bowl was incredible. Nice kick but Not too spicy, lots of veggies, and a harmonious blend of flavors. The slight sourness of the pickled daikon really brought the dish together. I was a little skeptical about how the guacamole would fit into the mix, but I was pleasantly surprised. Then again, guac makes everything better. Topped my meal off with a frozen Margarita and I was in heaven. I’ll definitely be paying another visit next time I’m in the area.

The food– it was ok. The meat in the tacos was chewy, and the flavors weren’t anything amazing. The tofu taco though, was excellent. The bowl without any spiciness was really hot for me lol i cannot imagine what the most spicy version is. It was just a mess of flavors that blended together. What was absolutely yummy was the gnocci. I wish i got like, 5 orders of that instead of a bowl and 3 tacos. They have a vegan menu!!! So that is a nice option. The atmosphere– it’s a small, very clean, nice place. Not for large groups. The staff– everyone was super super nice. The food was brought to our table, and they were all attentive and polite. 5 stars for staff.

Absolutely ridiculous wait time. I placed an order through EAT24 and got an estimated time of 55 minutes for the order to be delivered. 1 ½ hrs later the delivery person had not even left the place. Had to go through the hassle of having my money refunded. AVOIDTHISPLACE!!! unless you don’t mind waiting forever for your food!

What a missed opportunity to try more flavorful soft tacos, since I had already eaten an abundant meal at another place! Casually walking into Kimchi Grill, I knew I had to order the fish taco(to be semi-healthy, of course)! The fish taco had a soft tortilla shell to support it’s diverse palette of mesmerizing flavors that were captivated inside. Flavors of spice, sweet, and a bit of savory all came into play and worked really well together. I highly recommend the fish taco(5⁄5). On the menu, it is called«Krispy Fish» under Tacos and is composed of mango salsa, sweet rice flour and sweet potato starch batter, chipotle aioli, kimchi slaw and pickled daikon(all very delicious)! I appreciated the hospitality of Kimchi Grill when they offered every customer who purchased water that was in a little plastic cup with a lid. The water was infused with a slice of cucumber(how refreshing)! Kimchi Grill needs paper menus, pronto! Food came in a jiffy and customer service was up to par! Interior is cozy and hipster(loving the urban décor)(5⁄5) ~

Certainly enjoyed my lunch here. I got a short rib bowl with multigrain rice. I held off on the kimchi and daikon, based on personal preference. I enjoyed the added lettuce and carrots.Yum. Quite delicious and fulfilling. I also had a chicken taco which was also tasty. The limeade was refreshing. When back in the area I will certainly return. Very satisfying lunch! And I didn’t have that bloated over stuffed feeling that can sometimes happen after lunch.

1st for me eating Mexican Korean food. I am trying to figure out what exactly was Korean in my dish! I guess the kimchi which is some sort of Cole slaw aka cabbage. I ordered nachos with a very spicy drink that I didn’t I particularly enjoy hence I only drank a bit. Cute local little hang out.

A well needed taco with a margarita. The short rib taco and fish taco was excellent. The fried chicken taco was ok. Tiny, hole in the wall spot but will do your craving. It’s really damn delicious and worth coming to check out. After a day at the zoo or botanical garden, come here to relieve some stress of screaming kids by having a glass of frozen margaritas. The rice ball was surprisingly delucious. Have it immediately, while it’s still hot n fresh. I wasn’t a fan of the sirarcha sauce that comes with it. The kimchi rice was good enough as is. He fish taco was scrumptious. I would have had 2nd if I didn’t have the other taco yo finish. Definitely would be back if within the area. The staff are very friendly, hard to find that in a small joint like this.

I’m an immediate fan of kimchi grill. I came here because I was in the mood for Korean and tacos and to my great pleasure you can get it all here. The flavors where explosive, the meat tender and the kimchi delish. I liked the R&B music that I could hear while devouring my tasty plates. I ordered kimchi fries, fish and short rib tacos, kimchi nachos and sweet and sour ginger wings. The tacos were full of lots of intricate toppings like cabbage, mayo, spicy Chile sauce, lettuce and chopped fruit salsa. These wings rock! Crispy and the flavor pops in your mouth!

I think I’m in Love! Kimchi Grill where have you been all my life? Fatty meats and Kimchi makes the perfect flavor missile. The perfect summer delight that’s hearty with a kick of spiciness and sour. These guys are Pros, every order is made to order. The space is a little small but very cosy. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and the Fried Chicken Waffle. The Breakfast Burrito came first and my wife and I split it. One bite and I was in love. It’s sad when eggs and chorizo bring so much Joy to my life. I thought I was in heaven, and then the Fried Chicken Waffle came and changed my world. Seriously? You guys took the Chicken and Waffle and you did some kind of mad science and made it 10 times better. The waffle was perfect and my wife informs me it’s made of Mung beans… whatever that is… it was like a healthy marshmallow. The Kimchi Chicken was so good I just wanted a bigger slice, but it was for 8 bucks, I suggest next time you guys let me super size it. Love it, open in my neighborhood!

Now this is what I’m talking about! Asian Mexican done right! Korilla seriously needs to get schooled by these guys. I’ve never had such delicious Korean tacos until I came here. Their ssam tacos greatly reflects on Korean style ssam cooking. They’re also a healthier option too instead of the soft tortilla option. The short ribs, seared pork and fried chicken were all very flavorful and tasty. The food was so good I wanted to order more while I ate. When you dine in, you’re given complimentary chips and kimchi salsa while your food is being prepared. Arancini was quite tasty, the sauce gave it that Korean kick. If you’re around the area, definitely check it out. Best Korean tacos in town!

Omg! The food you are getting is 1) Amazing, 2) Excellent value, 3) One of the best things I have had this week. After enjoying the beautiful cherry blossoms this weekend, we were hankering for something hearty and somewhat healthy. Enter Kimchi Grill. A quiet, unassuming space that serves up a mean kimchi burrito.(Watch out Korilla!) Their kimchi is homemade, their organic mung bean waffle is airy and light, and their butter is amazing and sounds so healthy!(What is organic blue agave nectar butter btw?) I love their Kimchi(perfectly spicy, crunchy, fermented, so good!) I didn’t even realize my waffle was organic mung bean until I read the description later. Ok, so maybe chorizo with miso cream in the Breakfast burrito(5.75) and Korean fried chicken waffle taco(8.5) is not the healthiest food I could be putting in my body BUT it is delicious and most interesting thing I could be eating on this whole block. I cannot wait to come back!

Great little place near the Brooklyn botanic garden. The eatery is small with only three tables and a bench outside, and the aisle is usually filled with a short line of people. You’re certainly not coming here for the ambiance, it’s all about the flavors and there’s no shortage of that. We ordered the ginger tofu burrito which was full of spice and flavor. The kimchi rice in there was great. It was so good I didn’t even miss the meat. I also had the chicken taco, spicy pork taco, and beef short rib taco. The beef short rib had the flavors of a great bulgolgi. My only complaint is that it’s not near where I work because I would have this for lunch all the time.

My fiancé and I visited Kimchi Grill for lunch before spending a day at the Brooklyn Museum and we were more than pleased at the experience. It’s a pretty small place and when we first walked in every single table was occupied, and we were worried that we’d have to take our food to go and eat outside in the cold. Luckily the place started clearing out and we were able to snag an empty table right before the food came out. Upon ordering you’re offered a free cup of water with a cucumber slice, and when your food is ready you’re called by name and it’s brought out to you, whether you’re seated at a table or waiting to get your food to-go. Now this is a nice touch since most restaurants of this size and style don’t go to such lengths to make the customer feel comfortable. It was definitely appreciated and started the entire experience off on a pleasant footing. Now the food. We both decided that the 3 tacos for $ 10 deal was the way to go. My fiancé ordered three fish tacos while I had 1 fish, 1 spicy pork, and 1 bbq beef short rib taco. My fiancé and I agreed that the fish tacos could’ve used a bit more seasoning as he had to rely heavily on the hot sauce at the table, but he did enjoy the sweet touch of the mango pieces. It’s quite unfortunate that he doesn’t eat other meat though because the spicy pork and beef short rib tacos were AMAZING. They were packed with flavor and the meats were juicy and tender. Absolutely perfect. If I had to choose between them both though, the spicy pork would win, hands down. I’m already looking to plan another trip down to the Brooklyn Museum just so I can visit this place. I’m dying to try the Korean fried chicken taco and I’m definitely having more of the spicy pork. Kimchi Grill is awesome. You get great, flavorful food for reasonable prices and service that makes you feel like this place is more than just your regular taco joint. Trust me, this place is the epitome of «bang for your buck».
