This is your typical mid-sized one stop shopping supermarket. Competitive pricing and narrow isles. They even take Amex CC. There is municipal parking around the corner.

My in-laws and I buy a lot of items from here since we live just a few blocks away. They have a pretty good selection of produce, fish, meat and of course most anything you could want in terms of Chinese products. I find that between them and the new Fong & Zhou Supermarket on 18th Avenue, they have cheaper frozen items but their produce isn’t as aesthetically nice or ripe. Also, the aisles are so crammed full of things, and they are really narrow. So the layout isn’t great, but if you take your time you might just discover some fantastic new things.

This place is a nice local Chinese supermarket in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. The produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. For a long time it was the only one in the area but a recent addition in the area hopefully will cause a price war which will benefit the consumers. But, their seafood is always top notch as well as their meats. Though the isles can be a bit tight it’s worth it if you’re looking for some local Asian produce.

Small, cheap, no frills Chinese supermarket. Don’t expect great service or the best quality veggies/fruits.

Very fresh fish and cheap. I go here often for shirmp, crab, salmon and flounder. even lobsters and mussels, very fresh and reasonable. They also have meat in the back and chinese groceries as well as fairly priced fruits and vegtables. Some things you may have no idea what they are. Its always busy .and that means they turn over their fish and it doesnt sit around long. They also have live fish that you pick it out and they will beat it senseless and put it in a bag for you while its still twitching. Only complaint is … Be prepared to get run down by chinese people with shopping carts though! They dont understand«excuse me» it seems.

This is the typical, small Chinese supermarket. They have a great selection of cheap fruits and vegetables outside of the supermarket. They have a selection of fresh seafood — including fish, scallops, and crabs — inside. They also have fresh beef, pork, and chicken. The reason I come here is because they offer the same quality of produce at a fraction of the price. Compare: Avocado’s: Chinese supermarket — 99 cents. Waldbaums — $ 2 Cilantro — Chinese supermarket — 50 cents Waldbaums — $ 3 Tomatoes — Chinese supermarket — 99 cents/lb Waldbaums — $ 1.99/lb Limes — Chinese supermarket — 25 cents Waldbaums — 50 cents Can you see how much cheaper it is here? Sure, the fruit is not in a shiny plastic box, but who cares? You are going to throw that box away anyways! If you are looking for some cheap, fresh fruit or veggies, come here!
