NEVER COME HERE!!! I always do my hair but I happened to have a hand injury at the time so I grudgingly took myself to this salon. Before I went in, my hair was completely brushed and stretched out and in two flat twists. When I say she RAKED through my hair, she RAKED it. Oh my god. I NEVER have had so much breakage as I did with her. Many times I tried saying, hey just a bit more gentle with my ends. No. I have 3c/​b hair. WHY ARE YOU BREAKING A COMB ON MY HAIR?! HOW! Now may ends are SO frayed. I’m getting velaterapia next week to save my hair. And she was doing simple twists in my hair. No weave, nothing. Just twists.
Side note, I felt her putting product in my hair. It smelled like grease. I never put anything inorganic in my hair. She really tried arguing with me telling me it was going to lay my hair better? Okay. NEVER AGAIN

i walked in to the salon and went upstairs. nice sitting area. I was greeted immediately by Cathy (?). She asked me what I wanted to get done. I told her I needed my weave taken out. A wash, dye and a new tracks in a Bob. She said $ 70. She was able to give a breakdown on her pricing. I felt instantly at ease. The wash was magnificent. She scrubbed and washed away three weeks of grease. Sat me under the dryer so that I could let the dye soak in. After she dried my hair, she had me show her pictures of what I wanted with a description. Not only did she do a wonderful job, she went about and beyond with her cut. The hair curls in a way that is so natural. She blended the hairs well. I watch the chemistry between the stylist and they work so well together. Truly a family scene. I watch them interact with a lady and her two young children. Some salon make parents especially mothers feel bad about their children, not them. The kids loved it there. The other patrons left please and they work so fast. I left home 12 and was home by 2:30. Weekend are usually a five hour wait for a two hour service in Brooklyn salons. They also don’t push products and service and in there is sooo well kept. They’ve found a loyal customer.
