Mega Bites

Do not go to this place!!! It is the worst customer service ever. We had a waitress that was so rude, never asked how we are doing, never asked if we want coffee refill and did not give us specials menu. On top of that, she did not pick up empty plates. She was eating at the bar, which is called cross contamination and totally illegal. When we told this to her manager, he gave us attitude. Don’t even know how they are still open.

So, sometimes I crave meatloaf. I’m always grateful for Mega Bites when it hits. Hearty portions. Tasty food. Good delivery. I’ll definitely order again and while I want to try other things here, let’s be real — I’m sure I’ll continue to order meatloaf. :)

I would not recommend based on quality of service. I ordered from this restaurant on thanksgiving day. The reason I called is because they had stuffing on the menu and I’m a big fan of stuffing. During my order, I asked if I could get extra stuffing, the guy told me that they only had one order of stuffing left and it would be in my meal. I said ok I really love stuffing will there be a good portion? He said yes so I proceeded to order. When I opened the box, to my surprise, no stuffing. When I called he said I told you we were running low. I was angry and told him that he lied to me and it’s thanksgiving so I would Unilocal about it. He said he’s not scared of Unilocal or anybody and that he would come get his food and refund me once he receives the bag of food. Good job on customer service here.
To make matters worse, they charged me twice by ‘accident’. So instead of paying 26 dollars I paid 52 for food I never ate and was not able to get my money back for days.

How the mighty have fallen! What once was a neighborhood staple has now become a run down and dilapidated embarrassment. The waiter was a rude dick who was preoccupied by the telephone to notice myself and another patron waiting for over 10 minutes to place out order. When I tried to get his attention, he waved me off and walked towards the back for two minutes. He took my order and never even offered a glass of water. When I requested a glass, he came back 5 minutes later with a glass that had a ROACH floating in it. I called him over and brought it to his attention. His response was to smirk, go behind the counter, fill up a glass with ice and water and dump it down on the table.
I ordered a simple bacon cheese burger deluxe. The burger and bacon was burnt and crispy. The fries were soggy and wet. I could go on about the crappy food and service but I don’t have the energy to express how gross this place is. I don’t recommend it to anyone. I encourage everyone to stay far away from this place.
To be honest, the only reason why I’ll give this place a star is due to the nice bus/​delivery guy that tried to keep the place clean. Other than him this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Brooklyn.

Went here for brunch and was surprised to find a spot with such delicious food at a reasonable price, especially for the area. Mid-​meal, a cockroach ran out onto the table. We told the worker and she didn’t even bat an eyelash. Wont be going back on premise, but wish i could!

I love this place and I probably order here at least once a week. My personal favorites are the chicken fingers (seriously awesome) and the breakfast sandwich (you have to ask for a sausage patty or you’ll get the links). As far as diner foods go, this is one of my favorite spots.

The local neighborhood spot. Very reasonable and extremely tasty. I am a huge fan of this place! Menu is enormous and everyone who works here is very friendly and accommodating. Great neighborhood staple!

Great food. Great coffee. A little pricey sometimes but this place is my go to neighborhood diner.

My buffalo chicken wrap and French fries were to die for! Crispy fresh tomatoes and greens. Delicious cheese followed by deep fried chicken smothered in buffalo sauce. It was heaven!!! The fries seasoned to perfection! Delivered to me still hot! I will be ordering from here from now on!!! I ate and forgot to take a pic lol

Been looking for a good breakfast place in the area. This is the best I found great prices perfect meal. I am happy and ready for the day. Perfect feel good food.

I order breakfast from this diner at least once a week and dinner at least twice a month. Best diner in the area! I’m a bit of a snob about food quality so trust me when I say this place has good food. The customer service is always quick and painless over the phone and they deliver pretty fast as well. I’ve been a fan of this place for 3 years now and have pretty much no complaints, which is a big deal! Check out mega bites!

Pretty good. Not as good as the Clinton Park Café just a few blocks up but it does the job. Serving breakfast at all hours is a major plus. Waiters are great and so is the service. Food is a ⁷⁄₁₀! Orange juice isn’t too good but that’s literally my only complaint!

This is my go-​to diner.
Everyone needs a diner they commit to in their neighborhood, so I’ve come here quite a few times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love their omelets and home fries.
My boyfriend gets the chicken noodle soup every time we go, but to me it tastes like it is out of the can or something? Nothing bad with it, just not my thing.
Great salads and breakfast wraps as well.

This is a pretty limited scope review, of particular interest to turkey burger lovers. Short story: MegaBites has the best turkey burgers around. They’re just amazing. This is a pretty recent change, mind you.
Now, for the most part, MegaBites has pretty typical diner food. The club sandwiches are a cut above; the service and delivery are timely, the prices reasonable. But there’s one thing that they do especially well.
If you’re a fan of turkey burgers, you undoubtedly know that most places that sell them do a pretty crap job, no matter how good the beef burgers are. Typically made from a frozen puck, bland, dry, usually terrible. This used to be the case with MB, too.
A short while ago, something changed. And now MegaBites has the very best turkey burgers around. I mean, these things are just incredible. Perfectly spiced. Moist. Yummy. They could make a business by just selling these.
In fact, they’re so good, I was going to give five stars. But for whatever reason, they never send my cole slaw with my turkey burger deluxe, even though it’s on the menu. Such a little thing, Mega Bites, but it’d make me even happier.

How is this place not at least a 4 star average!?!
I want to go back to NY just to have breakfast here again. The food is fantastic! The service is friendly! The owners/​cooks greet everyone like they are family! And the atmosphere is awesome! Perfect little diner in Brooklyn!
You walk in and just take a booth along the walls, a seat at the counter or a table in the center of the dining area. All seem like great spots to sit and eat while you watch a game on the TV or read the paper.
The pancakes were perfection — light and fluffy without being doughy. They make the best over-​easy eggs with a runny yolk. Plus, I actually enjoyed the Lemon Meringue Pie — where I usually don’t like meringue.
The servers don’t miss a beat and are on top of taking care of the patrons. They are great with the families and the service is quick and efficient. Loved the waitresses here — on top of it!
With all that, we got a bunch of smoothies to-​go and they were all amazing. The Ginseng Fling was phenomenal! I want to have it shipped to me every week!
I love this place and will definitely be back on my next trip to NY! High Five!

Favorite breakfast spot in Brooklyn! Great food, big portions and fast!!! The people and servers are friendly.
On weekends be prepared for a line. But it moves relatively quickly.
Every time I take someone out for breakfast this is the first choice and I’ve NEVER had a complaint!
