Absolutely loved their food!
Lucky for me this spot happens to be right in my neighborhood. I have passed this place several times and I didn’t think to stop here until a friend suggested we have dinner here.
As soon as you are seated there are crispy noodles and duck sauce waiting and they are very good. Service was amazing. They were extremely attentive and gave us plenty of time to order but remained close when we were ready.
I ordered a chicken and broccoli with fried rice and it was a pretty good price. They have lots of special combination platters. The mean, rice, soup and an egg roll is about 10 dollars.
The food is very fresh and it comes out nice and hot. The portions are large enough that you will likely take some of the food home. I would highly recommend this are for chinese food especially in this area because it is really amazing and the other restaurants are not good at all.

First time trying the food always pass here from the gym and see a few ppl enjoying drinks at the mini bar. Stopped to order and was very pleased with the boneless spare ribs and fired rice. Good was very good. Defiantly gonna stop and dine in next time while having a drink or two or three. Best tasting and quality Chinese food I’ve had in the area. Recommended.

This place has the best Chinese food I’ve ever had and the service is amazing! If ever on 86th st and in the mood for some Chinese definitely stop in you’ll be happy you did. Also, as a dessert try their pistachio ice-​cream at this point they’ll bring you a fortune cookie as well, break it into your ice-​cream and enjoy!!! it is so yummyyyy!

HUGE fan of Chinese food. –Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Wonton Egg Drop Soup — No roast pork in it. Spare Ribs good. Fried Rice worst ever. It tasted like Quinoa or bad brown rice. It and the Lo Mein were way too dark. Not sure I would go back to try other dishes since the basics were off.

I would recommend the crab rangoon: crispy fried wonton skin filled with cheesy crabmeat goodness. The décor is nice with cozy dining tables and optional seats by the minibar. You can tell that this is a family business and the owners, Donald and Jimmy, are super friendly. Good food, friendly staff, cozy décor, quiet ambiance, minibar, reasonable prices… doesn’t really get much better than this. I always stop by on an ice cream run when I’m in the area. Their pistachio ice cream is the absolute best. The cup isn’t big enough for me (even though it’s still a large quantity), I have to get it by the quart! All my friends became addicted to it after the first spoon.

Visited this restaurant by chance, I was with a friend who went there to say Hi to the Owner. So, decided to take something to go after hearing that they are known for a good ginger scallion dish (we love ginger scallion seafood).
Pork dumplings filling was good but the dough was too thick to my taste.
Ginger and Scallion Lobster noodles was delicious, surprisingly tasty lobster.
We might not try again this place just because it’s far from where we live so not a delivery option. But menu has some interesting options, also for shellfish lovers included oysters…

Order from Ruan’s at least 4 times a month. Have eaten in the establishment several times. Love Chinese food. I don’t think I have had better Chinese food anywhere in Brooklyn. My favorite is their beef and broccoli and there juicy spare ribs. Great service when eating in and prompt delivery when ordering. Great portion sizes with ample meat and seafood.

This is the only Chinese place that delivers to me in Dyker Heights and that has Shanghai rice cakes.
Their salt-​and-​pepper chicken wings are also reaaaaally tasty.

First cocktail in NYC. im an OC transplant. ive walked 15 blocks up and down 86th, havent ran into a rude person yet… staff here is warm and welcoming my macallan was poured well, and even given free crispy wontons. might be my new watering hole! I gave in and ordered a meal… shrimp with Lobster sauce. I took the special combo… soup egg roll and pork fried rice a staple in the combo. The FR as a side was way better than most entrees ive had at home, the lobster reminds me of a pot pie sauce. which is right up my alley and yes the hot and sour soup is that good. I might be here a while… :)

I used to come here all the time with family for dinner but I don’t know why we stopped :(I really like this place because all the dishes were delicious and well priced. I also fell in love with hot and sour soup after i started dining here. When you sit down, the waiters give you these crunchy chips to eat while you place your order. After the meal, ice cream is on the house ! How much better can it get? I remember they would make animals out of carrots such as a swan to decorate our dish with and i wanted to take it home as a child haha. Not sure if the restaurant has changed in the past couple of years :(

I order from here a lot. Really like their grilled chicken soup (skip on the egg noodles though, they’re flavorless. I usually go with lo mein instead). Their fried wontons are also nicely made. Usually get sesame chicken as well but recently got a little tired of it so I opted for chicken with mushrooms which is really good. You can get it with a whole assortment of vegetables too if you want more than just mushrooms or none at all. Every order comes with a plastic bag that contains plastic spoons and forks, depending on your order, along with a fortune cookie, a tea bag, and napkins.
I don’t really eat in there so I can’t say anything about atmosphere or service. I do however wait for my take out and I’ve noticed that the man that greets you is really sociable. The people at the little bar they have there have nice conversations with him and he seems to be an overall great host.

Really like this spot, whether I dine in or order out.
The service here is always good, and the delivery guys are really nice.
I have tried just about everything on the menu, and not much disappointed me.
The first time I ever had Pan Fried Noodles was here, and I get them every time ever since. They are really flavorful and the texture is perfect, crispy first and then al dente when you mix them with the sauce.
The food is higher quality then your normal take out .
A good go to spot, always good and always consistent
