Nida’s Royal Deli

My store! I get coffee & the paper here every single morning. They have the best beer & candy selection and make great sandwiches.

It may look like your typical NYC bodega; chips, sandwiches, soda; but it’s more and sadly less than that.
On More side, they have an above average alcoholic beverage section. Not as extensive as their big brother supermarket across the street, but nicely turned out. They carry my favorite cider, Woodpecker.
On the Less side, you’re not going to get as much meat in your sandwich as you would in a true bodega. I got a pretty disappointing BLT there.
So this is not my go-​to sandwich spot… but for everything else, it’s just fine.
Edit: I have to take a star away. The credit card minimum at $ 10.00 is too high. That’s a major pet peeve since I tend to not carry around a lot of cash and like to avoid ridiculous ATM fees. And the old man… *sigh*. Seriously, do I have to wait 5 mins. for a spoon?

Best deli in the neighborhood to get decent beer, fast. The clerks are always friendly and their grocery selection is impressive for a small deli. My boyfriend searched the surrounding blocks for a solid deli, we now call this «his spot»
