This place is the worst. Doing your own laundry is ok but forget about dropping it off unless you want to interact with the two rudest women ever. There are a million places to get your laundry done so don’t go here. They’ll do the laundry fine but they always charge me more when I pick up and are expensive in general compared to every other place. I also don’t like feeling like I am the worse person ever every time I walk in there.

If you’re doing your own laundry, this place is pretty good. There are always machines available, the door is open so it’s not ridiculously humid, and the other people doing laundry are typically pretty nice about not hogging the tables/carts. The woman at the counter was friendly the first few times I stopped in and acknowledged my presence by giving me a little nod and sometimes a hello. Within a few weeks, I noticed that she turns her head away when I come in and does so for most customers as well. Unless I have a question, I basically just avoid eye contact. My roommate dropped his laundry off here once and said the same woman added 2 pounds to his order in front of his eyes. She insisted on charging him for 2 pounds over even after«fixing» the scale. He took his laundry and hasn’t come back.

I do drop-off laundry service. They separate whites/darks for me(+ $ 1) and it comes back very neatly folded. I’ve been using them for a year now and I’ve never had a problem. I like that they’re open pretty late so I can pick up after work. No complaints here and will continue to go.

Park Slope Laundrymat is perfectly fine for a neighborhood laundrymat. Machines only take quarters, but the people who work there will give you change. The washing machines come in three sizes and I can usually find one open that is right for what I’m washing. The new dryers are a big improvement. I’ve only used them for dry cleaning once, and they did a good job for a reasonable price. I wish they were open later in the day, especially on weekends.

HORRIBLE! I deserves a Negative star! Washers only dispense COLD water, regardless of what cycle you choose. AND clothes came out of spin cycle sopping wet! Dryers are old and inconsistent. They either burn, shrink and fade your clothes or eat quarters by not drying them at all! I made the shop attendant aware of these issues. No surprise, she stared at me blankly. On the up side, the space is roomy with lots of washers of varying sizes. I haven’t tried their drop off service or dry cleaning but I doubt I ever will or return here again.

Its definitely not the best service ever, but I have never had a complaint about their wash and fold service. The usually have a really quick turn around and my clothes come back nice and clean. I don’t drop off my nicest stuff here, but for basic everyday clothes they do just fine.

Don’t think about entering into this place. They are rude and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. They ruined my roommate’s skirt and would not accept responsibility and was told she wasted their time for inquiring why they ruined her skirt. The ladies yelled at my husband for arriving at 8:40 to pick up our laundry after work. RUDERUDERUDE… If you want bad service, unreliable dry cleaner then this is your place. Otherwise I would move on or do your own laundry! Be warned.

One of their faulty, old drying machines set on fire and our clothes were completely burned. We lost $ 250 – 300 worth of clothing and bed sheets. After a heated argument with the manager, we settled on some complimentary service. When we came to redeem them, they first told us they would only wash the clothes, not fold and dry. Then they surprised us with some weight limitations. There are plenty of other laundromats in the neighborhood. Avoid this one. They also own the restaurant, Piquant, next door which I plan to avoid. They need to learn to treat their customers better and should invest in upgrading their machines. DISLIKE + STAYAWAY.

Would rather wash my laundry against a stone on the shores of the Gowanus canal. Washing machines belong in a museum and the dryers success rate of actually drying is less then 50%. Just awful.

Awful. I’ve asked them repeatedly to separate my whites from my darks and they never do — my whites come back with blue or red hues. I’ve asked them to not use bleach for my lighter colors and everything has come back shades lighter. My dry cleaning has come back to me damaged and they’re unfriendly and rude. I don’t recommend.

Horrible experience. Brought in jeans for repair, they lost them, and instead of owning up to it they were evasive and dishonest. Tailor called to tell me they were found and ready, but when I came by neither of those things were true. Another employee told me she would call when they were actually ready, never did, and then lied about it when I came back in — as if by saying she had left a message it were true. Pants were finally found and repaired a week late, but were returned without apology, explanation, or meaningful discount — at a professional shop you’d get all three plus potentially even home delivery. My $ 8 is going to be expensive for them — laundry service is a commodity item with lots of equivalent businesses within a 3 block radius. Why would I ever deal with these schmucks again?
