I was fortunate enough to actually meet Perry at the store; he was both very friendly and ensured that my purchase was packaged stylishly for gift giving. People: Don’t spend your hard-​earned money at the «fleas” – come to Grand Street and discover the joy of fine design coupled with truly caring customer service!

affordable, innovative, and unique. every piece I have from each artist in house is more than just jewelry: it’s a wearable piece of art. The shop is always buzzing with foot traffic and regulars and because the pieces are apparently made in house every time I’m in I feel like the inventory has completely turned around.
you can’t lose with any work from 242 Grand, I’ve had pieces customized, repaired, and jazzed up in house and I’m more than pleased.

I love visiting this shop whenever I am in the neighborhood. There is always tons of beautifully handmade and intricate pieces that I love trying on. The staff are very hip but super helpful and most of them make and sell their own pieces in the store which is pretty amazing! Definitely a shop to visit no matter who you are, good for gifts and one of a kind specialties.
