I finally got to meet Dr. Arthur and he is amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and wants his patients to be aware of their eye situations. I asked him so many questions and he didn’t get annoyed at all, which I liked. I knew my eyes were not the greatest but didn’t really understand how bad the condition was. I have nearsighted vision with astigmatism and Dr. Arthur recommended I should have my eyes dilated to ensure everything is okay. I was also told about the risks about my vision which I never had too much information about. I really appreciated all the knowledge I was getting and now, I know the eye doctors that I had in the past did not care at all. I am armed with the truth about my eyes and now they are in the greatest hands. Due to my eye condition, I still had to spend a bit more but it’s expected and I was able to receive a reasonable discount off my new frames. They also have a referral program in which you can get 50 dollars off the next visit if your referral comes (and they get 25 dollars off, too) which I think its nice. I’m so excited about new glasses (only glasses-​wearers would understand!!! Lol). I also want to add they are open on Saturdays and they are family friendly. They are easy to get to via driving but you can take the 3 train to Kingston Ave. Last but not least, they are EXTREMELY clean; not many businesses are like that. I’m very pleased with all my visits so far and the service I received.

A few months ago I listened to a Radio podcast from Afrobeat featuring that young entrepreneur from Ghana opening a new eye care practice in Crown Heights, and was inspired by his journey and resilience to get there. So I made a mental note to check it out on my next eye exam. Fast-​forward to an appointment made at the end of December on a Saturday afternoon. First good impression in the entrance lobby where beautiful glass walls make the place welcoming and easy to spot from the outside. They even have a wheelchair accessible lift available for seniors and people with disabilities. The receptionist greeted me by name, which makes you feel welcome in this place. Shortly afterwards a young gentleman took me to a separate room for a preliminary eye exam and asked a few questions about my medical history. Professional yet friendly. Dr. Arthur then entered the room to analyze the results and do a more detailed eye exam. After talking a few minutes with Dr. Arthur you can tell he knows his trade very well and does care, sharing information that was helpful. Once the exam done I started to check available glasses since mine were 5yo already and starting to crack at the seams. An elegant Rimless frame designed in Austria caught my eye. I tried a few others on the spot, taking my time, and finally settled my mind on that confortable Silhouette eyewear I can see myself wearing for the next 5 years. I wasn’t planning to buy anything that day, but luckily benefited from their holiday special. In a nutshell this is a great place to check out during your next eye exam, with a knowledgeable staff and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended !

I had a very positive experience during my visit to Perspective Family Eyecare. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed. Dr. Arthur was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I fully understood the results of my eye exam. The members of his staff were attentive and instrumental in helping me select my first pair of glasses… which I love! I was also pleased to see that they had a wide selection of frames to accommodate all price ranges.
I highly recommend Perspective Family Eyecare to anyone looking for a great eye doctor.

This is my new eye doctor!
I called at about 11 am on a Saturday and was given an appt for 2:30. There was parking directly outside the building, but if you dont drive, its also close to the train. The office looks new, very clean, organized, and welcoming. As soon as I walked in, i was greeted. I work in IT and hate the unnecessary use of paper so it was nice to see that you fill out all forms on laminated sheets that they wipe clean after they scan. :) There were other patients in the other rooms, but no one waiting so I was seen right away. They staff was super nice, funny, charming, and very helpful. Dr. Arthur is very nice, very informative and very thorough. They went through all my options with me and gave me recommendations but didnt pressure me into anything. They were patient while I tried on at least 20 pairs (they have a lovely selection).
Will go back again!

Really excellent operation — brand new, clean, organized, and professional. I went in to get a new prescription and contacts for my first time! Everyone was very patient as I tried to put them in.
Dr Arthur really knows his stuff too, and when I asked him questions about my prescription he told me all about recent and relevant research in the field. In a land full of healthcare battles this place is like an oasis…

I have no complaints and can see a thousand times better!
My experience at Perspective was welcoming, informative, and pressure free. Dr. Arthur educated me about my prescription; why I get headaches, why I read things over, and so on. He explained each part of the testing process as well, which was very interesting because I love to learn about the mechanics of machines.
Since I have been wearing my new prescription I am blazing through my students’ papers and the books I have been wanting to read.
Other really great things about my visit was they didn’t pressure me into buying new frames and they taught me how to read my insurance. Who does that?! Only the best!
I am recommending him to all my friends and students who have trouble with their eyesight.

I haven’t had an eye exam in 25+ years. I thought I could see perfectly. Not so much. I did not realize how much I was squinting and straining to see!
Dr. Arthur and his staff were amazing. Welcoming and clean office, attentive and dedicated staff! Not only did I get a thorough exam but they helped me pick out glasses that truly suited me and that I felt comfortable in. Turnaround time was pretty fast and I walked out of the office seeing things crystal clear and sharp for the first time in ages!
They also offer a flexible appointment scheduling which is REALLY important to working people. The office isn’t super close to me but it’s ideally located close to public transit.

Professional, helpful and friendly. I didnt have to wait at all and Dr. Arthur helped me to solve the challenges that I’d been having with contacts. Can’t say enough good things about my experience here.

If there was a way to give more stars, I definitely would. Dr. Benjamin Arthur more! He’s a fantastic physician who is patient, walked me through all the steps and provided clear explanations in regards to my screening and condition. He was even so kind enough to help me pick out my first set of frames.
He’s very personable and beyond friendly. He encourages dialog and you asking questions. No question is too dumb or can be asked enough. I would [and have!] definitely recommend that you have Dr. Arthur as your family eye doctor.
