Real Escape Game

I did the time travel escape game. Having done only one other escape the room game before, I would definitely say this one was much more difficult and required more problem solving skills (which I unfortunately do not have much of…). Fortunately for me, there were other people on the team who did. Also, if you’re really close but not quite getting it, you will get hints so fear not!
Overall I really liked it, the staff were nice and the game was challenging.

This is a perfect example of why I love being an elite Unilocaler. Small events, which don’t necessarily require booze, are amazing fun. I have wanted to do an escape the room for ages and this was a perfect way to try it. In a small group of 10, we are introduced to our room leaders and then locked into the time lab (in this case). The goal is to get out as you might have figured out from the event title. Clearly I cannot give anything away but I had a blast. We laughed, yelled, took apart the room and almost got out. Yeah that’s right… We lost. But at least no one else has beaten that room in nyc. Maybe the next time we play? They offer two rooms and I have every intention of returning to play again.

Escape from the Time Travel Lab was a blast! An awesome way to spend an hour or two with a big group of friends. The puzzles required a lot of really great collaborative solving, and (without giving anything away) the «time travel lab» aspects of the room were unlike anything I’ve seen in any other room escape games. All of the staff were super-​friendly, and the whole thing was a heck of a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

Escape from the Time Travel Lab is super fun! I don’t want to give anything away, but trust me when I say there’s a unique mechanic in it that I haven’t seen in other rooms. The puzzles themselves were also really cool — well designed to promote/​require collaborative solving. And the staff are all really playful and supportive too. I strongly recommend this activity for anybody, room escape newbie and veteran alike. Of course, I’m a *bit* biased since my team was the FIRST team to actually escape! But you could still try to beat our time: 58 min 35 sec.

Had a great time playing Escape from the Time Travel Lab! We got pretty stuck a few times but managed to get to the second to last clue before time ran out. Very fun and harder then I thought, bring your brain and your sense of play! Overall a great activity to do with friends. We’ll be back to try another room.
