Since the mothership in Elmhurst precipitously closed(sniff), this is the second Singa’s we’ve checked out, the other being the one in LIC. The classic green peppers and onions does not disappoint. A to-go order traveled well to the UWS. The green peppers and onions pizza was even better with a schmear of home-made pesto sauce. I’m really not sure why I like Singa’s. I think it’s because there’s something admirable about baking personal pies to order, even if it’s a chain. The pie won’t be to everyone’s liking, but you should check it out.

Mediocre pizza that tastes like something you’d get at the supermarket and microwave at home. This is not Brooklyn level stuff.

Screw it — I love this place. This is not ‘pizza’; it is food on round bread but I love it. The«Singas Special» comes with everything on it and it is awesome. Wings and pasta are also totally edible. They deliver fast and the food comes piping hot. Don’t get a plain pie — that is a recipe for sadness.

It’s not a NY Slice kind of pizza, but the toppings are super fresh, the dough is buttery, crispy and delicious, these pies are addictive. 7 bucks a pie that’s about 1.5 servings for me so it should be a decent single serving for anyone with a bigger appetite.

This pizza chain has been around for over 40 years and always delivers great good food at a great price !! A must try is the Hawaiian pizza and bacon and tomato pizza.

I wish I can link this picture to show how gross this pizza turned out. Usually just fine. But when you have careless delivery guys it makes everything gross.

Worst pizza I’ve ever eaten in NYC, really this place should not be allowed to call its product pizza. This is worse than digiorno/elios the common frozen pizzas, it is even worse than dominos and Pizza Hut. I am convinced it must be some kind of drug money laundering front because there is simply no chance they could stay in business selling this garbage product. The service was atrocious as well when I asked for a slice they made me a whole personal«pie» and showed no remorse for the lack of explanation that they don’t do slices. I feel as if they robbed me of my $ 7 and if you are dumb enough to try they’re food I suppose you are asking to be robbed as well. Go out of business already singa because you do not deserve such nice real estate, food trucks in my neighborhood do better. Beware!

LOVE singas!!! The owner stopped by tonight to personally deliver our food(it was like meeting the rock star of pizza heaven). Everything is always reasonably priced and perfectly cooked. The pizzas are healthy and delicious — love this place! We order every week ans can’t get enough.

I dig it. Being from Southern MA, the bar pie brings me back home. I eat here once a week :) I got a tour of the kitchen the other day, all pies are made fresh to order. So good.

Ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza via Seamless and it was pretty good. Good enough that I’ve ordered it twice so far. Reminded me of Pizza Hut’s spongy crust, which to some may not be desirable but I liked it. Besides the crust, the sauce and chicken were good.

It’s hit or miss on the pizza actually. Sometimes it’s cooked to perfection, other times(like yesterday) the pizza is overcooked and has too much oil. Still edible, but tastes like a frozen pizza you baked at home. Reasonably fast delivery and the price is alright. Mehh.

I should have looked this up on Unilocal before I ordered, but for some reason seamless gave it like 4 stars? I really don’t know how that happened. This was pretty straight up gross. It tasted kind of like freezer pizza– tasteless cheese, weirdly thick crust, they left one of my toppings off, and the mushrooms were definitely from a can. To top it all off, after eating once slice, I found a hair in it(definitely not mine because it was black). This is Brooklyn, there are so many places to get great pizza, so there is no reason to order from this place.

My favorite pizza is NYC. Very original taste and not greasy. Not that cheap taste you’ll get at the dollar pizza places

I first tried Singas pizza back in 1987 when friends moved to Elmhurst. I loved it then and I’m still loving it. I was delighted when an outpost opened a block from where I work on Grand Street. My co-workers & I order from Singas frequently and walk down and pick it up. The service is quick & courteous. The office favorite seems to be the Hawaiian. I’ve tried several different pies and have enjoyed all, however my go to choice is the garlic. And despite what other reviewers have said, I love the crust; it’s flavorful and fresh tasting. The crust is actually one of my favorite thing about their pizza. If you are seeking New York style pizza, go elsewhere, but if you are up for something different and enjoy pizza, try it.

Overall the pizza is not bad. If you are looking for a NY style pizza this is not the place. It’s more like a bar pizza just better tasting. Almost a greek style crust, decent toppings, and its cheap. Good for a quick lunch delivery

I’ve ordered their pineapple pizza via GrubHub a few times. My only caveats are that I went to open my soda & it was so shaken up, it went EVERYWHERE. Also: Reading the other reviews here, it does kinda seem frozen pizza-ish.* Other than that, seriously, it’s an easy pick for a smallish(read: I ate the whole damn thing) pizza with yummy pineapple on top. Obviously, I’ll order from here again. *Edit: I received a note from the business stating that they make every pizza fresh, not frozen. Good to know! Thanks for the polite note; I appreciate it. +1 star for being classy :)

I love this Singas Pizza! I’ve been eating Singas for a few years now and just love that they opened a location near my house in Brooklyn. The pies are individual size so people should not compare with Dominos or PapaJohns. They use very fresh ingredients, love the cheese and the dough used. It’s just the best and I definitely recommend it. I was reading some of the reviews for this place and I seriously have no complaints. They make the pizza fresh when ordered. If you go in person you can actually see them making the pizza and preparing the dough. The delivery is fast too!

For the pizza alone, I’d give it a one but realize that it was only 5 bucks. I’m pretty sure these are frozen pizzas. Wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever had and if I was drunk and these were all that was available I’d probably eat one. As far as pizza in general is concerned, being in NYC and with other pizza joints around it, this place is a joke. We got the garlic pies. They come in one size and one size only(10″). You could actually taste the garlic but the crust was bland and indeed, taste frozen. If I want mediocre chain pizza I’ll walk the extra block and get Papa Johns. Otherwise, I’ll stick with the local shops.
