I had a very disturbing interaction with the creepy owner. Too bad he is so erratic, maybe untreated bipolar, and narcissistic, you never know when you can buy the juice, and you never know if what he claims is what you get!

This is as GOODASITGETS! These products are real, natural and the most minimally-processed that you can consume. The owner believes in the organic movement 100%. Jose stands by his products and only satisfied with his product when it is a true-creation. He has a menu but will also work with your tastes and palette.

This place deserves 10 stars I’m very glad I found this gem in south slope. I finally found a juice cleanse that won’t break the bank. The owner Jose is absolutely amazing. Me and my wife are finishing our first juice cleanse there and seriously cannot wait to do another. I really feel like I got my money’s worth here. this place not only did we get juice, but we got support from someone who really loves what he does. If you get a chance to read Jose’s blog check it out, it’s very informative. I will definitely be returning to stoop juice on lunch breaks and for another cleanse ! THANKSGUYS !!!

Other reviewers have said this already but I’ll say it again– Jose is what makes this juice shop amazing. He’s always incredibly friendly, cracks jokes, and belts out the songs he’s jamming to. He’ll also make up your own concoction of juice flavors so you’re free to experiment. Also– try the acai bowl. It’s perfect on these hot summer days.

Obviously anyone with a blender can make their own smoothies at home, but sometimes you just want someone else to do it because maybe, hypothetically, you want coconut ice cream in your smoothie and that’s not something you’d keep in the house because you are trying to be low-sugar, but if someone ELSE makes it you can kind of gloss over the fact that it’s obviously a big fat cold delicious sugar-bomb that’s about to go off in your mouth. Yeah. Not that I’d know anything about that. ANYWAY. The smoothies at Stoop Juice are really good. You can go for one of their suggested blends or create your own… or, if you are like me, you can use their suggested blends as a base and THEN add stuff in. My current jam is the South Slope, which contains raw chocolate, ginger, and coconut ice cream(okay, so I realize this isn’t exactly pure pressed kale juice — sometimes a gal just needs to indulge her sweet tooth, know what I’m sayin?), but with protein powder and spirulina mixed in.(The proprietor calls it «the vision,» because it looks like alien puke. I like a juice barista with a sense of humor.) As a plus, they use Sunwarrior protein, which is vegan and everything-free: gluten, soy, human suffering… you name it. I’d doubt it even exists, except that you feel really full after consuming it.

Clean shop and very friendly service! I love coming here and Jose is wonderful in making recommendations if you’re new with nutrition and juice consumption. There’s other organic snacks available to purchase while waiting for your juice or smoothie.

This place is good if not a little pricey but then again it’s organic and in Park Slope. I’ve been here twice and the first time I thought the mixed berry smoothie I had was OK. The second time was this past weekend. It was pretty hot and I needed something refreshing. The owner(from the reviews I think his name is Jose) was super friendly and nice. He asked me what I was looking for and offered to make me a drink that was off the menu – watermelon and pineapple. It was yummy and super refreshing. I little steep for $ 7ish bucks but the staff is so friendly and it is pretty yummy and healthy. Will be back for another visit!

I was craving a chocolate milk shake. But it is winter. And I am dairy free. The world seemed against me. What diner would serve an almond/coconut/or cashew milkshake? I knew I would have to wait until I was home to tackle this obstacle. Then I discovered this place! They have your typical smoothies and healthy juices– but I definitely don’t want that in the middle of winter. I wanted a sweet, creamy, chocolate milkshake. And on their menu was exactly that. And the chocolate was a protein base powder umping my health points! It was perfect! The store is small but has great drink options with adorable names. They also have tons of gluten free or dairy free snacks for sale. I got a punch card and will continue to come back here. Can’t wait for summer to try the other lighter drinks.

Jose the owner has such a positive and friendly vibe. Everything that comes out of that juicer is amazing. I think he may be the only one to make drinking wheat grass bearable. Could not have gotten through my juice-fast without him. Now that my fast is over I happily have juice through out the week and always look forward to stopping by. Great addition to the neighborhood that provides an alternative to coffee and sweets. Also when your sweet tooth has to be indulged try the vanilla banana soy smoothie– a show stopper for sure!

I was visiting from Chicago and had just run a lap around Prospect Park. I was looking for a smoothie place to recharge after my run, and came across this place on Unilocal. It was a great smoothie and the owner even turned me on to a new vegan protein powder since I had been stuck on whey protein. If i were a regular to Brooklyn, I would make sure this was a common stop post run on a sunny afternoon!

I can’t decide if I like this place or not. I went to the gym to watch football. Well.. .. I have a tv. But I have like 2 channels on my tv so I do not watch it. Anyway, after gym time I saw this on my voyage home and thought, ‘why the hell not’. Juices and smoothies are not cheap here. Nor are they anywhere. They claim they are all organic. None of the juices sounded particularly tasty. The smoothies did. But I wanted something low on calorie and high on getting my body back to normal after imbibing in too much alcohol this week. SO. The Cleanser it was! The juice mixer asked if I would like ginger and lemon thrown in too and I said ‘ok!’. I had no idea what I was in store for. But I got a $ 1 hacked off thanks to my fantastic Unilocal check in! Normally a medium runs you about $ 6 — yikes. Right? This Cleanser juice is only: An apple, cucumber, celery, asparagus, parsley, and then that lemon and ginger. Holy crap. It comes to you warm too. But I took a sip. Said outloud ‘this is disgusting’. Tried on the rest of my walk home to drink more and within a half hour managed to only consume about 1⁄16th of my liquid green treat. Now it is sitting in my refrigerator for god only knows how long. There is no seating in here. But they sell health food snacks if you’re into yuppy over-priced vegan, low sugar, high protein bird seed. And I just noticed now their smoothies are made dairy free. Good thing they don’t inform you unless you read a menu, because I’m not ‘supposed’ to eat or consume soy products anymore. But then they have almond and coconut milk. The world is saved. Just don’t get that disgusting cleanser juice.

I want this place to do well, but their prices are just TOO expensive for juice and smoothies. The smoothies are DELICIOUS though! Everything on the menu, according to the owner(I think he’s the owner.) is vegan and organic, but he’d probably save a lot if he went the Dirty Dozen/Clean 15 route instead of making everything 100% organic and therefore so pricey and less attractive. I have wanted to go back to this place at least 4 or 5 times in the last month but have stopped myself to go with more affordable juice quenching options. Worth it, but not realistic for everyday smoothies.

This afternoon around 2:30 I went on Seamless web and found Stoop Juice. I love fresh organic juice and thought, «I should try this place for a late lunch» Seamless web’s estimated delivery time was 30 – 45 minutes. First, I decided to check out the website and then found various juice cleanse options in addition to the ones found on seamless. I was so excited! I then placed my order on the stoop juice website. Soon after I received an email saying I placed the order today at 6:59PM. So I called Stoop Juice and spoke with an older man who claimed he could not find any orders placed under my name. Nor do they deliver to my home. He also claimed I would receive a refund… hmmm…how can I receive a refund on an order there is no record of, especially after this man did not take down my name or phone number. I find this unprofessional and inconsiderate to say the least. Poor customer service and there is no way I’ll be going into this place unless I’m going in to follow up on my already billed debit card. Oh! And he hung up first without any apology about it. I guess $ 25 later and an hour and a half later doesn’t mean much to Stoop Juice. If you’re looking for great service, smiles, and excellent juice. Go to The Juice Pedaler. Take care of your bicycle, get breakfast, and leave with an awesome juice:-)

Delicious smoothies. Overall I’d give the food four or five stars and on a scale of zero to five, I’d given the service a negative three stars. After giving Stoop Juice many chances(more than 10), I can no longer support this business. I want to provide some details of just a few of the highlights of our experiences with Stoop Juice so customers know how this place operates and hopefully Stoop Juice wakes up and gets its act together so other customers don’t give up entirely either. 1. The time we got to Stoop Juice after 9am and the business was closed. We waited over 10 minutes until the owner arrived, unlocked the business and asked us to wait inside while he moved his car which was parked legally in front. Let me be clear. He asked customers who already waited for him to open his business(late) to wait while he found a better parking spot when his car was parked legally. Nobody else was in Stoop Juice(no other customers or employees) so he also put us in the position of watching his business for him. I’d love to live in a world where everyone is this trusting of total strangers, but I’d also like to live in a world where people respect each other’s time. He took 15 minutes to park his car, return, and barely thanked us. What if we had just left? I was floored by the total lack of consideration for the time of his paying customers. He charged us full price for our trouble. Completely ridiculous. I felt like we were on a hidden camera show or something. 2. The time we ordered a smoothie with peanut butter in it and we overheard the owner reprimanding a new employee for putting«too much peanut butter in.» The result? The smoothie was chalky and basically all ice. Ridiculous for the prices charged. And yet we continued to give Stoop Juice chances. No more. Today was the final straw. Here’s what happened when we ordered through Seamless this morning: We placed an order for two smoothies at 9:04am(Raw Land and Smoothie Bar). The order was confirmed within 5 minutes. Delivery says it takes 30 – 45 minutes, so we should have had our order by 9:50 or 10am at the latest. At 10:30am(nearly an hour and a half after our order was placed) we called to see where our order was. The owner told us «Oh right, well we’re waiting on an order of raw almond butter and I didn’t want to send it out until that came in.» He offered peanut butter instead which we agreed to. Why did we have to call for that to happen? Other restaurants will call when they don’t have an item or an ingredient in an order to offer a substitution or to ask the customer what they want to do. Not Stoop Juice. He didn’t even apologize or offer a discount or anything. They also recorded the order as «delivered» well before it was. The order showed up at 11am. These are just a few examples in our history of being disappointed by poor service at his business. Stoop Juice get your act together. If you charge premium prices people expect at least adequate service.

I’ve started going to Stoop Juice about 1x every week for a treat and feel like I’ve been enough times to give a fair review. Pros: friendly staff/owners, wide variety of juices/smoothies(plus dairy free!), tasty, rich & smooth, rewards/loyalty program Cons: on the expensive side($ 7.50 for a large) Personally, I don’t mind the price, but it is prohibitive enough that I couldn’t make Stoop Juice a daily habit. My favorite is the South Slope, which is a blend of coconut milk, coconut ice cream, ginger, and raw chocolate. It’s healthy, dairy free, and fulfills my cravings for milkshakes. I also take advantage of their loyalty card program(buy 10, get 1 free). I’m glad they are in the neighborhood!

Recently came here with my boyfriend. I ordered the Mango Smoothie — came with icecream and coconut water and he ordered the berri-licious. Mine was nice and thick and his was a little more watery but we both really enjoyed our smoothies. Both were refreshing and delicious. I also felt healthier drinking these vs the ones you get a jamba juice. The place is clean and very cute and staff was friendly. They also do the punch card. I have a feeling we will be back this summer.

Stoop Juice’s Goal is to provide delicious juices and smoothies made of fresh organic fruits and vegetables while simultaneously protecting our environment by using sustainable, biodegradable food packaging, utensils and paper products. That being said, Jose and Diana were two of the greatest people I have met in a long time and they’ve totally succeeded with their mission in creating a special almond butter and banana smoothie for me that was not on the menu. I’m totally excited that this place exists in my neighborhood and I’m looking forward to stopping by 2 – 3 times a week from this day on.

I’ve been looking forward to Stoop’s opening for months now. And, boy, was it worth the wait! The space is small, but inviting and clean, the menu is diverse and appetizing, they offer online ordering and curbside service(!), punch cards(buy 9, get 1 free) and have friendly, down-to-earth, personable service. I juice on the regular, laboring over juicing pounds and pounds of vegetables at home. Sometimes, I just want someone to do it for me. Although Park Slope has a couple of juice bars, none do it very well(either lacking in a good flavor profile or variety), or with a smile for that matter! I walked in to Stoop on day two of its opening and was greeted by the friendly owner(whose name I forgot to get). His co-worker made me a delicious All Greens juice in short order and at a VERY reasonable price. $ 7 for an all-organic 16 oz. juice? Yes, please. Might sound spendy but I spend at least $ 12 to juice 24 oz. of organic produce at home, plus 30 minutes of prep/cleanup. So, it’s worth it. The other great thing? Stoop offers a punch card. Unheard of in the juice world. And, they use Greenware cups, plant-based(not petroleum) packaging. Thanks, Stoop, for taking it seriously. I’m hooked on you.
