Came here based off the wonderful reviews. And boy were they right!!! I had the steak taco santana, the beef nachos, and my girlfriend had the shrimp taco bowl. Every thing was delicious! I do recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a good Mexican spot. Will be going back there!!!

I am beyond confused by Unilocal and non Unilocalers. In who’s mind was this a good suggestion? Order (Take Out) burrito and 4 tacos. Burrito had old mushy rice (tossed in the trash after one awful bite). Steak taco was tough and unflavored. Chorizo taco was tough but on the plus side tasted ok. Fish taco tasted super fishy (if you know fish it should not taste like that). Pork taco, only plus was the pineapple as it was the toughest of them all. Overall I think I may need a break from Unilocal and all the false hype. Williamsburg is lacking a great Mexican restaurant. We have several ok to decent spots but none one can be a regular at.

This place is the shit. Authentic cheap, delicious. The tortillas in the tacos are really well-​made and fresh (which is I think the most important part).
The chilaquilles rojos are also the best I’ve had. Spicy and comforting (and filling). Rice and bean, burritos, all awesome.

Holy mackerel. This place is LEGIT. Got delivery from here and everything was fresh as a daisy and damned delicious. I got steak nachos and because I am allergic to dairy, I asked for no cheese, no sour cream. Usually places get this wrong. They got it SO RIGHT and I am grateful.
I also got a taco that I sadly left out overnight and did not get to taste. It looked phenomenal.
Delivery was fast and the food was hot.
$ 1 guacamole? Are you serious? I’ll take 15, thanks. I don’t live or work nearby this place, but I will FIND A WAY to get back there soon. I love you TS

The first time I ordered from them, it was just under 2hrs for delivery. They should probably know that «cold» is not how food should arrive. I figured I’d give them a second chance… bad decision. They called me 30 minutes after ordering (around the time it should have been delivered) to tell me they were «out of plantains» and would replace them with french fries. Forty minutes AFTER THAT I was calling them to find out why they still had not delivered the food. When it arrived (total time of 1:15) it was ice cold.

The wait was a little longer than I would have liked, but it was worth the wait. The food was very fresh and had amazing flavor. The beans and rice were great, and I had the Enchiladas Banderas (with green AND red sauce). The sauces were so good. Very unassuming place, but worth it.

Ive ordered here for years. Excellent tasty food that couldnt be matched by the likes nearby or in manhattan. But today it was all wrong. Everything was prepared and tasted differently. Under/​over cooked, greasy and just not good. Did they change owners? Ill try one more time to make sure but very sad if they did. Damn it.

I am so happy about this place because it’s right next to where I work and the prices are CHEAP! Tacos are $ 3 and you can get a biiiiig Mexican corn for $ 4, it’s delicious. Definitely stop by if you want some good authentic Mexican food on the cheap.

So from time to time I order from here from work. Constantly they forget to bring me my rice. But whatever today is when I ordered two chicken tacos and an order of RICE only and they sent it with beans. As I’m eating my BEANS I chew on a tasty PENNY. I’m so disgusted! I just don’t have luck from this place and I won’t ever be eating here again!

Coming from Cali, it’s been SO difficult finding legit Mexican food in NYC!
We ordered a shrimp burrito & a chicken burrito. Food was to die for and made me forget where I was for a sec.

Stopped in Taco Santana randomly on a Friday night — SO GOOD. I was craving Mexican food, and this place hit the spot. We only tried two tacos — the chicken tinga and pork with pineapple. Both were delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant looked modest and is off the main strip, but the food is delicious. Highly recommend!

I was exploring the neighborhood with my girlfriend until we came upon this spot. Tacos? Sure, lets do it. Okay, seriously, I knew this spot was gonna have good stuff simply based on the decorations. Sure, it’s very early wishful thinking on my part but then I’m the positive type of guy. Sure enough, the tacos were so darn delicious! I will point out the neat presentation — look at the pic. Three tacos per order — perfect portion. This place is great and I shall return.

Nous sommes passés chez Taco Santana notre premier soir à Brooklyn (le restaurant était à 50m d’où nous étions logés, et la fatigue a pris le dessus).
Le restaurant et les produits n’ont rien d’extraordinaire, mais ont l’avantage de né pas être trop chers. On s’en tire pour 5 – 8 $ par personne, en étant bien rassasiés.
Bémol: il n’y a qu’une poignée de places à l’intérieur. Le gros de leur chiffre se fait en livraison.

i forgot the name.
it was pretty spicy ;) although i like spicy taste. it was quit spicy for me actually.
waited time was less than 5 min & i had nice time eating inside place.

I walked here and placed an order for 3 vegetarian tacos and because it was still mad cold out, I decided to wait it out at one of the three tables in the place. The atmosphere was chill but definitely not for dining in. Whatever, I wasn’t trying to stay.
The tacos are good! I’ve had some horrible tacos in my years but these are filling and quality. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll be back!

I’ve tried several local mexican places with similar menu and price range and solely based on my taste buds this one was the worst.
In addition to that I can mention the extremely long waiting time (for take out) and the friendly staff working there.

You know the second you walk in here that it’s gonna be good. I may love me some Chipotle, but this is real Mexican food. Tacos are a paltry $ 2.25 apiece, and there’s no tax getting added there, friends.
I got a chicken and a steak taco to go, and both were simply gorgeous. They were nice enough to toss in both a red (spicy) and green (less) salsa, which I split between the tacos for two unique tastes of carnivorous bliss.
