The Fork Goes On the Left

Fork Goes on the Left catered our wedding this past weekend and did such a good job that I had to leave my first-​ever Unilocal review to say thanks.
My husband and I had a relatively short amount of time to plan and a limited budget, and I went into this expecting that we’d have a few bumps in the road — but we really didn’t, thanks in large part to Mellanee, who pulled off a beautiful evening. The food was great and the venue looked wonderful. Working with her was a pleasure and though we didn’t have a large budget (by NYC wedding standards, anyway) everything felt absolutely first-​rate. Details that I hadn’t even considered were taken care of perfectly. It was such a lovely celebration, and much of the credit for that goes to Fork Goes On The Left. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Words cannot express how pleased my husband and I are with Mellanne Harvin and. We had a very specific fusion menu in mind, and Mellannee was able to prepare everything from shrimp ceviche and jerked Cornish hen to sweet potato fritters and BBQ short-​rib sliders. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Mellannee was extremely flexible ensuring that all of our last minute wishes and customizations were possible.
The Fork Goes on the Left wait staff was extremely professional and courteous to all guests. The venue were we had our wedding needed a lot of setup and Mellanne’s staff went the extra mile to ensure everything was set up and all of our guests needs were met.

Mellanee and her team catered my wedding last weekend and really did a fantastic job. She was very professional, easy to work with, and produced a great buffet meal at a reasonable price that received many compliments from our 120 guests. The team set things up beautifully and cleaned up thoroughly. The Fork Goes On The Left made our wedding reception a real success.
